I got a good price from agoda, so no regrets overall. However, the facility and service would be categorized into a 3* or 4* at most, if compared to international standards and hotels. However, considering the state of hotels in Pakistan, it is a 5* in comparison. So it really depends how you review it.
My stay at the Moevenpick Hotel Karachi was comfortable and pleasant. The only issue was the slow check-in and checkout process, due to "IT / system issues". The check-in process took over 30 minutes, as the front desk was unable to "locate my booking" made through Agoda. My stay at the Moevenpick Hotel Karachi was comfortable and pleasant. The only issue was the slow check-in and checkout process, due to "IT / system issues". The check-in process took over 30 minutes, as the front desk was unable to "locate my booking" made through Agoda. When they did find the booking, they said "someone has already checked in", which of course made me quite nervous since I was the only one on my booking. They did finally sort out the issue. Prior to checkout, I had notified the front desk twice the previous night that I would be checking out early at a specified time. Before coming downstairs I tried calling the front desk to ask them to prepare for checkout again - but no one answered. When I came down, the front desk told me that it would take 15-20 minutes, as their "system was restarting". The entire process took a total of ~30 minutes, when it really shouldn't have. This could have been a bigger issue if it was rush hour traffic headed to the airport. The check-in / check-out process marred what would have otherwise been an excellent stay at the Moevenpick. I really hope they are able to sort out these issues.

The Marriott Islamabad made me feel at home. While the check in procedure seemed a bit disorganized, all service after that was top of the line. Upon arrival I had a special request for an ice pack for an injury. After that the cleaning staff asked if I needed one every time I returned to the room. The hotel stocks the minibar with some free items and a fruit bowl in the room. The bathroom was well appointed with all amenities which were high quality. The number and variety of restaurants, as well as the quality of food, was outstanding. I would stay again.
Everything is fine with our staff. The airport transfer is complimentary but you need to email them to book it .Even though we arrive early in the morning they allow us to check in at 8:30 am without any extra . Good job. The only thing we didnt like is all the staff expect a Tip if they do something for you.
Absolutely disappointed with Agoda. Upon reaching the resort after a long drive, we were told that Shangrila Resort isn’t listed in agoda and that this was a fake booking. The resort then provided us a room for lesser price. Agoda should re-evaluate this.
I have stayed at the Avari on several occasions and have always enjoyed the food there. The staff is quite competent and the airport transfer service is very reliable. The security there is fine and I have found the location to suit my needs quite well. I would definitely recommend the Avari.

We are seasoned travellers from Dubai and our assessment was ‘wow’, can’t beleive this is a hotel in Pakistan. It is on par with the top hotels in Dubai. Food, ambience, decor, cleanliness, chic, staff, safety, spa, pool, the list goes on. Thank you to the kind staff for making us feel special and welcomed. We stayed in the executive suite which was very spacious and luxurious. They offered 4 free clothing dry-cleaning, free mini-bar, fruit basket, nut selection, free airport transfer, executive club amenities and beautiful luxurious amenities in the bathroom. Our whole family booked rooms at beach luxury hotel. The hotel is away from the hustle and bustle of the city, facing the creek with lush and well maintained lawn with coconut trees. The lawn and surrounding area gives a soothing viewing. Though the hotel is itself pretty old but has maintained itself pretty well. Fast and free wifi. Good modern washrooms with amenities. Tea Coffee making facilities in room. The bed was comfortable. We spent a good time at the pool. Room service was decent and fast and delicious. Due to being near the creek/sea, if you turn off the air condition the room can get humidity and floor can get condensed. We requested for mopping of the floor in the morning which was timely done. The housekeeping staff made up the room even on the day we were checking out. The hotel staff was courteous and helpful thru out. All in all we enjoyed our family staycation at the hotel.

Room and bathroom were clean and the staff was courteous. Located in an upscale but peaceful neighborhood. The bed and pillows could have been cleaner. Bed sheet was spot free but there was a bad odor from the quilt and pillows. Staff was very helpful and they changed they pillows in 2 minutes. Overall, it was a pleasant experience and great value for money.

We had a really pleasant stay here for three nights. The hotel is really well located being a few mins drive from both Centaurus Mall and Shah Faisal Mosque. It is set on the block full of shops, which makes it convenient. The staff were attentive, polite and helpful. They made us feel welcome. The breakfast is varied and tasty. Room service was often used and the food was well cooked and delicious each time. Rooms were cleaned well and complimentary fruit and water was provided each day. The gym was fine, but the jacuzzi wasn’t working. Nevertheless, I will be staying again.

Only shampoo, soap,and towel provided .Room and toilet were clean, spacious and big. Fridge available in the room. 5. Staff : Very helpful and friendly. 6. Value for money : For RM 125 per night consider ok for me.

Hotel was clean and WiFi was good too. But only location was not good because of far away from downtoun Peshawar.

Apartment is close to nature. But access is not easy to room especially when with luggage. Owner and staff need to learn hopitality before rating themselves 3 stars. Path to apartment was slippery due to snow and frost and made us very hard to get to and from apartment. They should have clear up the paths after snow.

This is one of the best Guest House in the area. Its clean, quite environment, quality food what ever you want to order, and staff is too friendly and helpful. The security is good as well. I would recommend it to all peoples if you are a solo traveller or with family.

Its a good Value for the money. Needs improvement in terms of cleanliness. Location for transit travelers is ideal. But don't expect too much of it.

For me the location was convenient ( walking distance from my office). Has good food options all around the place. Careem cars are always available around this area. The VIP room is far better than the Smart room. Overall a good experience.

Nothing really. It was ok
Friendly staff and customer service rep. Took my bags in and out of the rooms, helped me with navigating through the city. Rooms were clean and well maintained. Breakfast is sent to the room. Worth every penny and will definitely come back again.

It is my gateaway place in Islamabad! Just an hour drive up the Margalla hills, beautiful scenery, quiet, nice clean rooms, great staff (special shoutout to Emaan, Abdul Razzq and the chef) who are very caring and hospitable. It was my third time and I will be going often!

Our stay at Gofas was great - it was a beautiful room, nicely appointed. The staff was great and very helpful, breakfast was good, the location was perfect in Islamabad. It was great for the price. The only thing that might be improved is the bathroom. There is a beautiful jacuzzi tub but no separate shower so when you shower in the tub, the water gets all over the bathroom and there is no comfortable way to stand in the tub. Would also be good to have towels upon arrival. Thank you for a great stay!

I am always happy to return to this hotel. The food is excellent, especially the Pakistani dishes. The staff is pleasant and helpful and the room is tastefully decorated. Only the carpeting my room was a bit outdated. Good quality tile flooring with area carpets is easier to maintain.

During last 2 years, we had the opportunity to stay at the Hospitality Inn, Lahore for 3 times, most recent stay being 19 days ending September 4, 2015. I would like to mention the manager, Mr. Khurram Niaz Khan, who runs the hotel in a friendly, but efficient style, and usually greets repeat guests by name. We were accommodated in a great suite, during the very busy period of August-September 2015, courtesy of Mr. Kaleemuddin, the Reservation Manager. Our suite was well appointed, always tidy and well-stocked with supplies. Breakfast buffet was ample, delicious and more like brunch Food security was remarkable. (A Big Plus) Executive Lounge Club on the 4th floor was always welcoming and had an excellent assortment of snacks; experience made memorable by the staff there. During our stay, our close family members were accommodated in room across the hall and were favorably impressed. Dinner buffet spread was praised and enjoyed by all. Hotel staff comprising of, among others, Mr. Waheed Khan, Lahore Gate waiter Kashif Hafiz, receptionist Mr. Ajmal, Executive Lounge Club waiter Salman, and manager Afzal deserve our thanks for taking care of us. All in all, we would definitely come back to the Hospitality Inn Lahore, next time we are in the city. The service received from receiption right up to house keeping was extremely bad. Aircon with no remote control. Fan so noisy one can sleep. We spend one night only instead of 3. Upon return early evening from the day out, our room was not event touched by housekeeping. Am to request a refund from Sunsent Motel & BBQ. The one night's dinner was the only postive outcome of our stay.

This was my 9th visit to the Subcontinent in 2 years. During my numerous visits, I have stayed in a variety of hotels, private residences, and even in farmhouses. BGH was by far the nicest of all of the commercial establishments in which I have ever stayed, hands down. The building's exterior and interior were nearly impeccably maintained and the cleanliness was on par with many upscale US and European hotels. The food quality and selection during the daily breakfast buffet was excellent and dining staff was top notch. The towels were newer and fluffy, and we received adequate towels and washcloths without having to ask daily for them. All visitors and guests of the hotel are required to pass through metal detectors and have their bags and vehicles inspected by polite, professional security personnel, which I appreciated in this day and age. The area in which BGH is located is a private, gated, less crowded, community with better air quality, all of which provided a welcome daily respite from the hustle and bustle and poor air quality of Lahore proper. Downsides? Biggest disappointment was the bad Wifi connection. Our rooms on both the 3rd and 4th floor had such a bad connection that many times I was forced to just hotspot off my husband's iPhone, creating considerable frustration. When we notified the staff of the issue, nothing was done to correct it or to compensate us for the inconvenience. It also takes 30-50 minutes to reach any of Lahore's attractions from BGH. Last, the facility advertises a mini-gold course, but when we inquired about golf, we were told that the golf course is just for show! I was actually rather disappointed, even though this sounds minor, as I was kind of excited about challenging my husband to a heated round of mini-golf... lol...
I found staff very caring, it is a very wonderful experience.

5-star hotels in Pakistan
I got a good price from agoda, so no regrets overall. However, the facility and service would be categorized into a 3* or 4* at most, if compared to international standards and hotels. However, considering the state of hotels in Pakistan, it is a 5* in comparison. So it really depends how you review it.
My stay at the Moevenpick Hotel Karachi was comfortable and pleasant. The only issue was the slow check-in and checkout process, due to "IT / system issues". My stay at the Moevenpick Hotel Karachi was comfortable and pleasant. The only issue was the slow check-in and checkout process, due to "IT / system issues". The check-in process took over 30 minutes, as the front desk was unable to "locate my booking" made through Agoda. When they did find the booking, they said "someone has already checked in", which of course made me quite nervous since I was the only one on my booking. They did finally sort out the issue. Prior to checkout, I had notified the front desk twice the previous night that I would be checking out early at a specified time. Before coming downstairs I tried calling the front desk to ask them to prepare for checkout again - but no one answered. When I came down, the front desk told me that it would take 15-20 minutes, as their "system was restarting". The entire process took a total of ~30 minutes, when it really shouldn't have. This could have been a bigger issue if it was rush hour traffic headed to the airport. The check-in / check-out process marred what would have otherwise been an excellent stay at the Moevenpick. I really hope they are able to sort out these issues.
Everything is fine with our staff. The airport transfer is complimentary but you need to email them to book it .Even though we arrive early in the morning they allow us to check in at 8:30 am without any extra . Good job. The only thing we didnt like is all the staff expect a Tip if they do something for you.
I have stayed at the Avari on several occasions and have always enjoyed the food there. The staff is quite competent and the airport transfer service is very reliable. The security there is fine and I have found the location to suit my needs quite well. I would definitely recommend the Avari.

We are seasoned travellers from Dubai and our assessment was ‘wow’, can’t beleive this is a hotel in Pakistan. It is on par with the top hotels in Dubai. Also worthwhile to mention, I left a folder with document, cash, bank card etc ... in the Safe Box upon checked out, and only realized it few days after I returned home. Immediately I called up the hotel, and was happy to know that the Housekeeping had found my folder and handed them to the Lost and Found. I have since arranged a local friend to pick up on my behalf . Big THANK YOU to the great team in PC Lahore, especially the Housekeeping who recovered my folder. I am most happy to recommend this hotel to anyone.
Swimming pool and spa facilities all closed disappointing for the travellers
Reception Staff, Room Service house keeping staff is very welcoming. PC desperately needs to upgrade it's Internet services and standard of Breakfast. I hope some one from senior management will look into it and do the needful.

With my luggage I looked around for the business centre and got a print out. Back at the reception at least two people were handling my check in. I was extremely tired and just wanted a shower and some sleep as fast as possible. The room was excellent, I got my four hours sleep, had a bite and went to check-out which again turned out to be an inefficient affair. Two - three people worked in the reception and I spoke to them all. It was difficult to see who was handling the check-out until one of them said everything was ok and I could leave. When I asked for a copy of the "bill" I was told I could look at my credit card account when I got home. Is that how a hotel of this class should behave?
