Pros: Close to the haram. This hotel complex is the closest to the wheelchair ramp that leads to the first floor mataf and to the mezannine floor mataf. The best part of this hotel is that its not as crowded as the clock tower. It takes 10 minutes from your room and into the haram mataf. Cons: There is a door in between the rooms. If you neighbour is loud or smokes, all the best. Mine was both. I had difficulty sleeping and breathing (due to the smoke)! I complained to hotel staff, they warned them but they still continued. Breakfast is mediocre for a five star hotel. They need to improve on it. Super fast check in (maybe hotel not so crowded). Haram speaker didn't work. Overall, value for money.

I stayed with my young kids for a night and had a great overall experience. Pros: Very helpful staff, prompt on addressing any complaint ( I had one, which was handled instantly), very clean and best wrt value for money.Despite of waiting for couple of hours, allowed to check in at 2:30 pm, which is I :30 hrs. earlier than their normal check - in timings. Cons: On the map, it showed in front on Clock tower, in reality, its on the back., no parking at the facility.

I had booked my hotel for 4 nights but due to loosing my passport in Makkah I was only able to stay one night at this hotel. I arrived at the hotel at 10pm which would have been my last night there as I was due to fly out the next day. The check in was prompt there was a slight delay as the guy who was to check me in was having his evening meal. I was told to go upstairs to the M floor and show him my booking print out. I did not get his name but he was extremely welcoming and said that he was eating and he would be with me in 5 mins and also asked me to help myself to the buffet food that was laid out. I declined but have to say was really touched by his kind gesture. We got checked in and had no issues whatsoever despite checking 3 days later. The room was excellent and had clean through out. It was very good sized room and was given a king size bed and was asked if this was ok as we had a 15 month old child. We agreed to this even though they said they can offer us room with an additional single bed. The breakfast was good and was varied to suit different tastes. As my wife was upstairs in the room with my child the guy agreed for me to take some breakfast upstairs as we didn't want to disturb our sleeping child. It's a shame I was only there for one night but would have no qualms in recommending this to anyone as rates for the room was very competitive. The checkout time was 2pm but the guys at the hotel were really understanding when I told them if it was ok to check out at 4pm as my baby was asleep for his afternoon nap. They did not have an issue with this at all. The only downside thing would be the wifi access as it is only restricted to the lobby. For a size and standard of this hotel I would have expected wifi to be across all floors. The small cafe/shop area in the reception floor was pricey to say the least. Overall I enjoyed my stay and the staff at the hotel could communicate in English.

Everything is amazing, quick check-In, supportive staff, Housekeeping staff and maintenance staff visits your room quickly if any assistance required. Only issue is Potter needs to move luggage from other side of the road, because its near to Haram due to which most of the time road has been closed by Saudi security forces. Overall its a good experience.

We booked a two night stay through Agoda in a family room with four beds at the Anwar Al Madinah Moevenpick Hotel in August this year. Check in was quick, efficient and friendly. Room was lovely and clean and beds were comfortable. AC was cool, thankfully. Loved the colour tones of brown and grey decor – calming. From our room, we could catch a side view of the entrance to the Masjeed and was thrilled at how close it was. Breakfast was good – the usual mix of western and middle eastern fare. The best part was how near we were to Masjeed Nabawi. Literally a few steps away from the hotel. Also, there’s a Bin Dawood (Supermarket, bit like Tesco) within the hotel building which was super convenient.

No issues, the staff are very friendly and the hotel is the best ever. Buffet breakfast is Saudi royal buffet haha. Very good stay and no issues. Only thing they give u 1 bottle per person in a day which is low since its hot and you get thirsty. Overall loved my stay and would come back for sure. Reception guy Aram is awesome and very helpful.

It can easily be the best for the price if following things are taken care of: 1. No of shuttles. 2 during the day and 1 at night is a low noumber considering the requirements around prayers' time. 2. Maintenance. A. checking in at 6 pm and still rooms were not fully ready.B. A/C control in one out of two rooms malfunctioning and required an hour with the technician and not fully resolved. C. Center Shower in one out of two bathrooms was not working. 3. Receptionist took 20 minutes to process check-in and gave me the keys which were not working for one of the rooms. 4. Breakfast. Unlike other places the breakfast was not having any kinds of soups. The A/C system does not have any heaters. hence the minimum temperature that you can have is room temperature which can be difficult to bear if it is too low.

Location was great especially for women, you only pass two streets to reach gate 25. Rooms are clean, in room dining is affordable and food is above saudi standarts. The only negative point is the check in hour 16:00 and it was almost 17:00 when we check into our room

Awsome service with early check in at 11 am and late checkout at 3 pm, reasonable breakfast, clean nice beds twin queen beds with room view to Haram, best for value at the time I booked during busy weekend. Nice staff welcoming team. Amazing elevators smart! I was at the 25th floor and immediately locating right lift after pressing button and in few seconds there it is. Big number of elevators in a tower hotel is very important to quickly catch Prayer! Location is great less than 5 minutes walking to Haram. In the clock towers being second tier facing Haram and shopping and restaurants, dry clean, barber all in the same area. For sure I will book again in my next Umra trip.

This hotel is the best. The location is amazing it's close to ladies gate at harem and mens only, only 100 meters away. And close to all shop's and restaurants. The best part is the hotel staff. I booked the hotel by mistake on wrong dates when I arrived there I found out at the checkin counter. The person at the counter told me I will have to change the dates my self through agoda since it was booked online so i checked online and my booking was not changebale i was so worried as i was with my family and than from no where there manager Abdul Razaq came and said just don't worry and he will take care of it he will change the booking himself and directed us to have a free buffet until than. It was such a relief and we were so relaxed. This is a 5 star service this guy was a real life saver. I recommend this hotel to everyone.

This is one of the best hotel in Saudi Arabia. It was really pleasant surprise to see excellent behavior of a person in reception. Only issue is that they put the bed foot direction towards Kabaa and that should be mandatory for the hotels to set the bed not in the direction of Kabbaa

- Check in and Check out process was very simple and swift. - Location is excellent very close to Masjid Al Nabawi 3-4 minutes walking distance (Gate 7). - Best place to stay with family. - Staff was very courteous specially Sagar Hussain (1st floor). - Had parking problem No parking available at hotel, you can park inside Underground Haram Car park parking 3A, 4A & 5A @ SAR 1 / hour and then walk for 5 mins to reach the hotel. Otherwise it is hardly 3-4 mins from Haram. which is very close to hotel - No restaurant available at hotel. - WIFI is very poor. - There is a supermarket, pharmacy, fast food available in and around the hotel.

Good: Location (5 minutes to Masjid-el-Nabwi) Women pray area door 25-26. room service (must be asked each day), ease of booking, baggage collection Bad: Internet, Saudi staff don't understand english and very little Urdu so they would act frustrated all times, I extended the checkout time and paid 100 Riyal for same but they didn't entered it correctly in the system resulting several visits and phone calls by multiple staffs to check the status of our stay. room service guys are average and had to be asked and ensured that service was completed each day its important for people travelling with babies/young children.

Car Parking was charged separately @ 250 saudi riyals for One Day. Moreover a declaration form was given stating that in case of theft or fire or damage to vehicle, no one can be made liable for damages. Owner is responsible for damage of car, while car is driven by staff to some unknown parking place. For getting the car back one has to call 2 hours before the checkout, so that the staff could bring it back. Room's oven was not operational, as control knobs were missing. Moreover for a Five Star Hotel, i was expecting to see special washroom fittings and accessories. Other than that Hotel was quiet and calm, no disturbance at all. Very near to Haram or next to Haram. Food Court and shopping area available. Cleanliness was maintained throughout the hotel.

Working in Saudi and Always stay at Elaf Bakkah. I have never been disappointed. Excellent service from the time you step into the hotel.

It was astonishing that there was no creamer available with coffee and when asked for it it was told that in Saudi Arabia its not used and this was told to me first time after spending 2 years here and also remained frequent visitor of Makkah and Medina

Its a brand new hotel.. still not fully equipped (April 2014) but the rooms and bathrooms are clean and beautiful. . Breakfast was one of the best. . In room dining was expensive compared to other 5 star facilities. . Would stay there again if had the chance

Top notch- breakfast was the best i’ve ever tasted in Saudi so far- really good quality spread. Only drawback was that wifi internet was very patchy in rooms, n rooms were cleaned only in d evening (guess understandable as it was high season)

This is my favorite hotel I keep booking every time I go to Madina. The professionalism of employees usually reflects back to the hotel reputation which makes me com here again and again. I congrats this hotel for having Miss. Hodun as one of the front desk team. I can conclude my experience with Pulman hotel in just one sentence which is “Wonderful rooms, services, and hotel facilities”. The guys at reception were very rude. They were telling us to wait for an hour even after the published checkin time in order to have a room. Moreover, our card key was not working. And when we went to the reception to renew the key, the guys was consistently speaking arabic and said very rudely "You are in Saudi Arabia, you should speak English, not Arabic". In short the reception staff was very rude and misbehaving.

I have been to the hotel for check in at 2:00 pm but no one helped for early check in. After 2 hours the Agoda Agent from Hong Kong called me and informed that the hotel has sent an email to upgrade me to another 5 star hotel. Once i check with hotel staff and they confirmed that want to send me to another location for checking in. Again it took another hour for explanation and checking in procedures. The Hotel i have stayed in Royal in Nokhba! It was nice hotel, on Eid day i asked Room Service for complementary sweets and they provided me fruit basket along with sweets @ free of cost.. I will recommend and stay in this hotel again!

this is one of the best hotel I've stayed in makkah very close to Haram near the new extension. this is my 2nd stay in anjum and I must say both times the experience has been wonderful. the service provided by staff is outstanding. The staff are very caring . breakfast buffet is very good maybe on of the best, all the good served is made with care, unlike the makkah restaurants Anjum food is outstanding/tasty and not bland for sure !! Anjum has a outside sitting are where you can relax at night highly recommend this for your perfect umrah,

I stayed for 5 nights and on 2 different occasions I had to go to the reception to have my room keycards re-activated - there was no apology and no explanation for why both keycards stopped working (they were kept separate from each other and away from mobile phones which sometimes affects these cards). On my day of check-out I called the reception to enquire about the cost of staying 1 additional night - he said he would call back in 5 min. After waiting 15min I called reception again but there was no answer. So I go to the reception and find it in-manned. Eventually a man turns up and I make my request for 1 more night stay - he admits that he forgot to check. The housekeeping, breakfast and café staff were all very friendly and efficient - and the Saudi lady at reception was also very good - but the male Saudi staff I dealt with were of very poor standard. They do not represent the brand of this hotel.

This hotel was very pleasant surprise. I’d say the standard of the hotel by European standards is 4 stars or maybe even 4+. Marble bathroom floor to ceiling, very comfortable beds, flatscreen TV, tea making facilities, fridge, broadband for free, excellent free bathroom products, seating area and coffee table, Safe, ironing board and iron, and even a weighing scale, air-conditioning, high standard of decor and furnishings et cetera, all made for a very pleasant and easy stay. I would add that for those who are staying for religious pilgrimage, which will be inevitably most people, the location of the hotel is absolutely amazing, literally one minute from the courtyard of the Haram Gate number six. I had a room only basis and didn’t really miss the lack of breakfast because there are plenty of cheap restaurants, take aways and supermarkets locally where you can buy whatever you need. I would highly recommend this hotel.

This hotel is like gem specially for proximity to women area of mosque. One can visit your room frequently to rest or freshen up after ibadah. There are few down site as below: * Check-in process was a bit lengthy * Parking Entrance is a bit small for SUV cars. * Parking space is limited and less for peak season like ramzon. If you checking in on thursday evening or Friday there are chances Hotel will not able to give u free parking. * Wifi was slow * they made twin room to quad adding 2 small beds which were not comfortable. (Rates for Double and Quad room was same when I booked) Will recommend others to stay if they are getting $ 120 (Approx.) during ramzan season.

most of all the facilities good, room is ok, locationver y near to Al-Haram, easy to find a food court, but only one thing that i really bad to said that the document for check in is too complicated, since for hajj our passport was taken by saudi government, so we don't know that we have to prepare our copy visa, we only prepare our copy passport like in other country only need copy passport to check in. But thanks to the manager of hotel to giving us chance to stayed at that hotel, since we already paid via agoda.

Stayed three nights while performing Umrah. Very clean and modern facility. Did find an English speaking person in the check-in counter. Room was clean and nice with all the amnesties expected from a 4 star hotel. Daily cleaning was also available. Overall, everyone liked the hotel. Moderate 15 minutes walking distance from the Haraam. Last hundred yards or so to the hotel is slightly stiff, but not a problem for most adults. This will be true for many hotels given the topology. No on premise sit-in restaurant for lunch or diner - room service only. It is bit pricey and we opted to eat out instead.

This is the best 5 star hotel I have stayed at in Makkah. It is modern and clean with a surprisingly good customer service (something very rare in Saudi Arabia!) -Very good breakfast -Beautiful prayer room/mosque overlooking the ka'bah. My wife really enjoyed praying here when she couldn't go to the haram because of our young children. -Also, children under 7 stay free with parents which made this hotel excellent value for us. Overall- this has been the best hotel experience we have had in Makkah (5th time).
