As always a very enjoyable stay. The rooms are clean, very spacious although I booked s standard room. The bed is very comfortable. There is fruit and water complimentary in the room. There is a beautiful spa for reasonable prices.

A small boutique hotel converted from an old building, conveniently located right next to Knez Mihajlova. Room is small but cozy, housekeeping is spotless clean, staffs are friendly. However I was unfortunate that I was given a room next to a family with small kid who comes back after midnight; kid crying , adults screaming...till 2 am every night for my entire 5 ni...
A small boutique hotel converted from an old building, conveniently located right next to Knez Mihajlova. Room is small but cozy, housekeeping is spotless clean, staffs are friendly. However I was unfortunate that I was given a room next to a family with small kid who comes back after midnight; kid crying , adults screaming...till 2 am every night for my entire 5 nights stay. As the hotel is a converted from an old building, the wall partition is paper thin and noise of baby crying, adults screaming is as though they are in my room. The hotel is fully booked, hence the helpful staff can’t do much so I have to bare with the noise for my entire 5 nights stay. I would recommend this hotel but if you are a light sleeper, do highlight to the hotel that you prefer a quiet room

The hotel was just as good as any of the hotels I've stayed in Europe that cost twice as much. 75 dollars for the room was the best bargain in Europe.
The staff is amazing. I would say the best staff i have ever encountered in all my hotel stays. And what an amazingly beautiful place. Loved it.
The hotel was well situated and good value for money. The only negative for some travellers is its location right next to a lap dancing club, they both share the same entrance corridor.
The hotel is affiliated with a center for food services education and most of the diningroom staff are students and eager to please. Breakfasts are lavish, and you can get a good meal almost any time, even if you ar the only person in the dining room. Th staff always tried to be helpful but sometimes were out of date in their formation.

The Planeta Hotel is in a very central location for shopping ,sightseing, restaurants and Bars. Very helpful staff. Kettle in room (but no cups) breakfast was good. This is a small clean friendly Hotel with very efficient air con which was a boon during our stay.

So i will only stay 1 night and my husband 2 nights. So please just settle now as will use my credit card. Back and forth need to push them to do that but they always refuse. And the end they just want to do it by swap my credit card and bloked some money there. Finaly before i check out i make sure again that they will not need my credit card to charge the exact nominal when my husband will check out on the other day. I got news from my husband that everything ok and they just deduct from my credit card less than the blocked nominal. Should be more profesional to handle this. Not always say please come again in the noon time.. And after said please come again in tomorrow morning... Actually its been 3 times i want to pay but rejected. However.. Need some big improvement in all aspect for this hotel. As they have a very good location. For the food they are the best. Reasonable price and delicious. And also room is big so have plenty space for lugage.
We were very impressed with the front desk staff, very friendly and they even gave us a room upgrade. The room was clean and the breakfast was really good too. It is a twenty minute walk to downtown.

Well located with quiet surroundings. Nearby there is a post office if you wanna send post cards and a lovely local market if you are interested in discovering local life. About 7-8 min walk to the Republic Square which is considered as city centre. Close to the Autobus station.

What a great hotel in the center of town. Close to awesome restaurants and historical sites. Rooms are really Luxurious and really deserving of that. Staff was friendly and absolutely helpful. He even helped me book my bus ride to Sarajevo. Going the extra mile is really an understatement. I definitely recommend this hotel. Loved it. "Xavier" from Spain. Hehe.

I would not look past this apartment as it will be the only place I will stay when returning to Belgrade.
Very comfortable hotel, in belgrade downtown 5 min from knez mihalova, 10 min to kaglemadan fortress and 3 min from skadarlija (by foot). Forniture are new (open in january 2011), the room was very clean and silent and all the staff was corteous, attentive and they help us best they could. Breakfast was very good. You'll taste the true Serbian hospitality
Smokvica Dorcol was a lovely B&B. The building has been beautifully styled for the restaurant and lounge. The rooms were pleasant but the aircon is a HUGE problem. So whatever you do don't go in midsummer. It was hot in the rooms and we couldn't cool them down properly so sleeping wasn't the best. The staff are a bit offish ... there was rarely someone at the recep...

Tot molt bé. Gent agradable, esmorzar molt correcte, habitacions netes i hotel ben comunicat. Everything ok. Charming people, breakfast correct, clean bedrooms and well connected.
The hotel was pretty dated, but its location and price were really attractive. The staff of the hotel were also very attentive and polite.
Nada and her husband were extremely helpful and very open about their home. Nada speaks decent english and he makes delicious rakija. It's located outside of town, but no more than 10min walk to the fortress. We wIll gladly visit again.

Central Park was much better than I expected for the price and the location was good and not too far to walk to busier areas. They were a bit short staffed when I was there. But definitely recommended for value for money.

Oh wow! I slept in many hostel in the world but this one is in top 3. Hostel is very clean, kitchen have everything you need to prepare food. Big space for chill in/out side. Owner and son were very friendly people. Probably the best free breakfast you'll ever have, also offered free homemade scotch and even dinner when I was there for 3 nights. They made you feel like a houseguest and were very welcoming. Wifi was excellent Showers were clean and hot Beds were comfy Kitchen had everything

No réal common room neither a real kitchen. Not really a friendly place and the worst, there is no car park as written in the description. It cost me 19 euros to park my car in a private car park aside wich almost triple the cost of my stay. I choose the hostel because of it.

I was choosing between this and another hostel closer to the city centre but my choice fell on the Sun because they had better ratings on Agoda, and I didn't regret it one second! It's a bit outside where all the action happens, but still within a walking distance of everything i.e. perfect in my opinion. Warning; if you're using Google Maps or CityMaps2Go to find it, be aware that the address is correct but the pin on the map is in the wrong place! Ask the locals if you can't find it.

Other facilities such as the toilets and kitchen are adequate and the kitchen is quite a pleasant place to hang out as well. The only downsides is the lack of a way to make local calls within the hostel and the need to cross the dorm to get to the Lavender Room which might have been disruptive to the people staying in the dorm but because the hostel is located in an apartment unit re-purposed for a hostel, this is not a major issue and should be seen as part and parcel of staying in a unique lodging.

I have travelled many parts of the world and havnt seen a hostel that doesn't allow people to leave their luggage. This is horrible.
The owner is quite rude, they tokd me later is soviet way to trrat oeople, im not used to that And you are treated like livestoct, everybody crammed in one gloor, no kitchen, no space

My only problem was the very noisy refrigerator which encouraged people to turn it off.
This was truly great experience. we had trouble with our gps so we arrived very late at night, nevertheless hosts were ready to meet us at 2 am and pleasant as they could possibly be. We only booked the place for that one night only, the next day they allowed us to sleep a little longer because we arrived so late. The house is very clean and hosts speak enough English....

The hostel is on the 6th floor. There is common kitchen. There is a refrigerator, but no microwave. Location is good.
Very kind stuff ( also good looking girl on reception desk ), clean, warm in the winter , 3 km far away from the main square. For one night perfect value for the money - just 18 eur for a double room.

Its's a modern hotel with very friendly and helpfull staff. The breakfast buffet had a wide variaty. But carpet with stains in the room is a no go.
Careful of dodgy taxi, don't get ripped off. get the hotel staff to call you a cab. The staffs were helpful & would point you to where you want to go. A small mall nearby, but really nothing much around the area. However there is a really nice Chinese restaurant located across the hotel, very nice boss and meals were fantastic!
Very comfortable stay at hotel centaur, only issue was that sometimes in my room the WiFi would drop out or go very slow. The location was very good, and the room was clean, modern and bed comfortable
We loved the location in the old town under the fortress and just over the Danube River from Novi Sad. The apartment room was comfortable and clean. There was airconditioning and a nice courtyard. The hosts were friendly and welcoming. We also recommend the Theresa restaurant up at the Fortress. Amazing food, inexpensive and you can drive all the way up.
Location is bit off the old city but excellent public transport connection to both airport & city covers that. Friendly and helpful staff more than make up that shortfall. The complex itself has various facilities including a few cafes, grocery store, bakery etc. Great for living away from city yet get there quickly.

Really enjoyed this hotel. Friendly staff, cool rooftop, great room. Loved the individuality.
The standards have remained the same, good quality, clean hotel and rooms however, the prices have increased by 20% compared to a couple of years ago but the rate of occupancy is lower than before. Breakfast with instant coffee instead of expresso, no fresh juices. Despite those it remains my favourite place when in Nis.

As always a very enjoyable stay. The rooms are clean, very spacious although I booked s standard room. The bed is very comfortable. There is fruit and water complimentary in the room. There is a beautiful spa for reasonable prices.

Definitely will stay at Metropol again if I travel to Belgrade. Love it!

Stayed at the Hotel fro 3 nights and had a fabulous time - we took a delux room which was amazing with very grand decor.Romm was a great size and staff were excellent - The Hotel also has a nice pool and Jacuzzi in te basement.Very centrally located and ideal base to explore the lovely small town

Despite a somewhat difficult check-in due to miscommunication with the host Marko and a shabby entrance to the building itself, the apartment contributed greatly to my falling in love with Belgrade as quickly as I did. It was spotless with great attention to detail, and Marko was a great host. (The occasional snark would have been a problem if he hadn't been so helpful and his apartment so nicely equipped.) My only complaints are the thin walls and the location right on busy Cara Dusana (and a lack of control over the overheating that made opening the windows necessary) led to an occasionally noisy experience, and the washer/dryer worked erratically. I'm sure if I had complained about the latter, Marko would have addressed it immediately. Definitely recommendable.
