Golden Tulip Flamenco Hotel Cairo
Fine location and near to om kolthoom hotel”
The room is fine and big enough. Nothing was in the room . but the toilet .. i didn't found anything in the room even drinking water . But over all .. the property was good for me and i liked it .
The worst hotel and service ever. Is not recommended.”
Terrible hotel and lousy service. Booked the hotel through Agoda.com and the website asked me to book several times and use another kredit card. I did and ended up booking several rooms which they subsequently refused to give me back the money for despite the fact that I only needed one room and used one room. Agoda blamed the hotel and refused to do anything about it. Is not recommended.
Good houim cairo
Overrated hotel with low services”
The only positive about this hotel is the location on Zamalek island which offers a lot of restaurants, shopping opportunities, pubs, cinema, international and Egyptian life-style. The hotel is very old and in bad condition, the breakfast is less than average (it seems a miracle to the staff what the order fried egss sunny side up means). The hotel does not have a gym and there was noisy and dusty construction all the time. The staff tries hard to be attentive but failed in good service due to the lack of good appliences and the worn out rooms. There are mainy opportunities on Zamalek island if you can book ahead of time. For my next business trip I won't consider the Flamenco hotel again and my advice is to leave it left behind
Very good hotel, the location is great near everything, the stuff is so friendly and helpful”
A good hotel compared to the price and location, quite place , In a great neighborhood you can walk around place is safely, although rooms old and classic but clean , place is great for families.
Great Hotel, wonderful location and excellent hospitality”
I have stayed at Golden tulip Flamenco about 12 days with my wife and we have enjoyed it very much. All requested is fulfilled, and the staff were very helpful, the Nile view from our room was so amazing. Will surely come back to this hotel. Many thanks to all staff, Mustafa and Adel
The hotel was unique as lots of benefits and the staff and the Mangement were so helpful and professional ,anticipated my needs In the future I will choose golden tulip forever Really appreciate all the effort
The hotel is in good location and nice area. No safety issues.
not at all cost economical”
especially after adding in the taxes.
Pleasant and sufficient. Rooms were a good size and very clean. Nice variety at breakfast. Good value for money
Overall good experience.
Bad service from hotel staff”
When I first reached at the hotel, i was told to wait for 5 mins while they get the rooms ready. The wait ended up more than 5 mins, in fact about an hour. The reception did not have the initiative or courtesy to inform us that the wait is going to be that long. I had to chase them for updates on the readiness of the room before finally they gave us the room keys. There was no warm welcome/greetings by the staff at all throughout our stay. The service staff could have been more helpful and prompt in the tasks they undertake. I am not satisfied with the facilities and housekeeping as well. There were no kettles to boil water, tissues were not replaced when finished and there is only 1 pathetic glass available in our room. The only thing I like best about this hotel is the location. There are a lot of pharmacies around the area, cafes and even a polyclinic around the corner in case things get upset. It is in the Zamalek area by the way and not downtown. Overall, I think Zamalek is a good place to stay in Cairo. Most of the countries' embassies are located in the area. The only downside of Zamalek is that it is far out from the downtown area where the shopping area is and you will just have to brace the traffic jam en route to the downtown area. The shop owners at the lovely bazaar across the hotel helped to make our stay a lovely one. They are very nice people whom we befriended during our stay. Should you decide to stay in this hotel, do check out "The Lovely Bazaar"!
old hotel nice staff”
the hotel was not bad however its really old the location was nice but the area was so far from the main areas
The hotel was o.k. Nothing extraordinary. ”
Was o.k.The staff looked disinterested. Archaic furnishings. T.V. reception poor inspite of repeated complaints.Same breakfast repeated every day and too few staff manning the breakfast area. I never saw anybody over the egg counter, supposed to provide cooked to style eggs. Moreover none of the dishes were ever labelled henve was difficult to distinguish between beef and chicken. So never tried the non veg items out of fear.
hotel is good for mid-level customers”
i like the hotel and i live in the hotel for 3 times, the location is very good
location is good, the price is acceptable”
