Ok for one person”
We had a small double, the room is cramped and nowhere to put bad or clothes. It was comfortable and clean though. I would recommend this place if you can get it for a cheap rate and if you're on a budget. It is fine but it takes small to another level.

Indeed, I would like to give minus mark for this hotel....”
I called the front desk but the girl told me no English and request me to speak Japanese..... if a hotel only can serve native speakers guest, then they should post this special request on their web.... Plus, the hotel room was very dirty. Especially, the refrigerator. Anyway, I swear I won't live in this hotel anymore. It's the worst hotel I ever lived at.

Everything is good except one of the policies for key missing with a heavy fine. Do you really need to charge your guest 50,000 Yen for missing key?

Great for what we wanted, a place to stay the night before and after seeing the sumo tournament. Beds a little hard but otherwise a comfortable and quiet place to stay. There was enough room for two people and backpacks around the beds.

Good”
Assorted skin care products, bath salts and tea selection free from reception. Staff speaks minimal english. There was flood across western Japan, next hotel was booked in Kyoto, asked if the reception staff could call the hotel in Kyoto to check on the flood situation. Staff wasn't very helpful in helping us inquire about canceling the booking at the hotel in Kyoto. Other than that, the hotel was superb and only a few train stops away from Nagoya JR.

Staff inhospitable”
I asked if we can be transferred to a non-smoking room and even told the receptionist that we’re willing to upgrade. She told us there was no room available. When she left, we decided to ask again. We were allowed to upgrade to a bigger room but non-smoking. I will never recommend to my family and friends.

We have problem to communicate when checking in . Finally we found out a" lady staff" who know mandarin but do not help when we are struggling to tell what we want. Other than that unhappy incident, the other staff are very helpful.

Lousy Hotel. Will Never Stay Again.”
I had a 9-day family vacation to Japan staying in three different hotels. Hotel Wing is the worst. The hotel is old and room is small. It's a terrible experience to stay in Hotel Wing. I will never stay again in this hotel. The female staff with typical Japanese face in the front desk was unfriendly, unhelpful, impatient, rude.. The other staffs in the hotel didn't greet the guests. They also could not communicate in simple English. In addition, I booked two non-smoking rooms: one double room and one triple room. I was given a smoking triple room! For the double room, the bed is same size as the triple room (with three individual beds). So the hotel provided the same size of bed but expect two people in the double room to sleep in the same bed while the folks in the triple room to sleep comfortably in their individual bed. What is the logic? The rooms are so small. The pillows are too soft. The carpet is so old.

Budget Stay”
I was staying for 3 nights, room 721 The room is standard size as normally in a Japan chain hotel... The aircon is cold and shower heater is good. If you start walking from JR Nagoya Takashimaya, directly straight down to hotel is about 25mins walk with traffic lights. By taking the train is equivalent the same. As by the time you walk to the subway station, down the platform then climb back up the passage. The total walking distance are the same. Unless you're coming back from other direction or routes. There is a food street at the top hill, 15mins walk straight up... towards tje Junction, more busy street with more variety of different foods to choose and shop. Else the same street has nothing at all. Unable to comment on their breakfast, as we did not make reservations. Overall, we will not return again. We prefer nearer to Nagoya Station

Clean & Value for money😊 Use Fushimi station exit 10”
They allow us to check in around 2.30pm. We managed walk to the hotel from Nagoya station but i will advise take Higashiyama line from Nagoya Station and alight to Fushimi station ( this is next station from Nagoya ) At fushimi station use exit no 10 & there is Starbucks at the exit then stairs up or you may take the lift on right if you have big luggage. From the exit, walk to your left. The hotel is two blocks away, around 5 minutes walk. From hotel you may walk to Nagoya Castle but its took me around 20 mins. I recomended visit to Nabana no sato by Meitetsu bus if you stay here.
