environment, food, price, quiet, clean, design,
First said the only problem is the hot water. The shower water cannot adjust to warm water, only have hot and cold water. I am driving car to the hotel,so location is not the problem. design of the room is nice, cleanness of room good. The food, environment and price are the best. It is a good hotel

Our stay was great, we enjoyed it very much.”
Traditional design of the hotel, more peacefful place. close to nature
We had a pleasant holiday in Huarn Jana, since we were driving ourselves it was difficult to find the hotel. But the hotel staff took the initiative to come and pick us up where we were stuck. Very nice of them and very friendly people.

Lovely”
The staff, the unique nature of the rooms, and the breakfast.
Quite a nice hotel. Each room is uniquely designed and furnished. We were able to see 4 and we stayed in 2, all were clean, neat, and well arranged. The only downfall is the location is rather remote in relation to downtown Chiang Mai. This is compensated for by a shuttle service into town. Certain destinations are free (such as the airport and the night market) and run on a schedule, but if the van is available, you can be taken anywhere you like for a small charge.

Nice”
Peaceful location
Driving past the hotel from the main road looks like the place might be quite run down, but once you go inside you will see that the rooms are reasonably well decorated and clean. I only stayed for one night so cannot make too much comment. The hotel is located in Hang Dong (quite far from Chiang Mai centre), and not many taxi drivers from the city centre will know how to get to this hotel. I stayed here as I had a wedding to attend nearby at Heritage House & Garden. If you stay at this hotel, do plan how to get around if you intend on visiting places. I would stay here again if I needed to stay in a hotel in this area.

A most unpleasant experience.”
Coffee at breakfast.
This was without doubt my worst hotel experience in Thailand and I have lived here for 4 years. The hotel is wedged into a very small space between a busy road and a river so there is very little space in the hotel grounds. The room was in old Thai style and quite nicely furnished but was freezing cold. The lighting was so poor I could not read in the evening. The hot water maker for tea/coffee did not work, there was no wi-fi in any of the rooms and on one occasion the shower went from hot to cold with no warning. There were no chairs in the room only 2 on the balcony. The balcony was freezing as well and the thatched roof was so low no light or sun got on to the balcony. Again the lighting was insufficient to read even in low light. Breakfast was a disgrace and most of the guests, both Thai and farang existed mainly on toast. This was provided by 2 small toasters so there was an almost permanent queue of people waiting for toast. The coffee was very good, however and that is really the only thing good I can say about the whole experience. The hotel has absolutely no facilities so there is nothing to do there which would be OK if the room had some comforts but it did not. I have no hesitation in saying that this is a hotel to avoid at all costs as it is not cheap. A waste of money given the number of other hotels available in Chiang Mai.

laid back”
close to main road, quite, clean
It was a relaxing stay. Not a lot to do, but good for some time away. They had a couple mountain bikes in the lobby that you can use for free, so got out and explored some back roads, which was fun. The buffet breakfast was basic, but ok for a day or two. The hotel is a little outdated in terms of decor and does not have many amenities. Not a bad experience, but overall an average place. Probably would look for an alternative next time.

Gem of a cheaper Boutique Resort”
Unique themed rooms, lagoon-like pool, beautiful garden surroundings
We stayed two nights in a standard room then upgraded for our last night to a room of glass walls with a "balance" theme. It was really lovely and clean with a nice tub too. The pool had a cool nature-y design with waterfalls. The staff is excellent and the restaurant had quality food although overpriced. The breakfast buffet wasn't the greatest. Also, we had problems connecting to the wifi. Overall a great boutique resort for a reasonable price.

Good View, Good Staff and Great Relaxation
The only problem is we cant use bathtub but the rest is very good. The staves treated us very well since we arrived there. The room is quite old but still good. The view from our room is fabulous. Walking in the morning after breakfast is a thing you must try.

Beautiful quiet resort”
Pool, surroundings, room
This is a lovely hotel set in beautiful gardens (with pet rabbits). The pool is clean and refreshing, the gardens are lovely and the restaurant in nice. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Our 10-year old never complained once. The only drawback is the reliance on the hotel van to take you anywhere as public transport seems to be non existent in the area.

unique place but out of the way”
glass roofed room
this is an interesting place but a bit run down and not really close to anything. i wouldnt stay here again simple because it is not close to anything! the room we had was basically a mud hut and had a glass roof which was interesting. the pool isnt really very nice and looks dirty. nowhere to chill by the pool. restaurant was average at best as was the breakfast. they do have 2 mountain bikes they let you use for free which made for a good day out to the floral expo...this is a good place to ride around but think without the bikes would be boring and far from fun. rising the bikes around tho was really fun. they also have a free shuttle to the night market in town on sunday evenings 7-9pm which was a nice touch. we stayed out for drinks tho and had to pay 600 baht to get home...!

location
The staff of this hotel is quite nice and friendly to welcome and serve the client. The room is big and clean. It's located not far away from city then convenience to have dinner and short trip in town and go back to the hotel. In order to look for the hotel from the google map, try Fond kum hotel. It was the name of Huarn Jana. They just changed the name so cannot search to find this name on the map.

Lovely hotel but very far out if the way”
Great room, fantastic food
my boyfriend and i chose this hotel for the last two nights of our chiang mai leg, knowing it was out of the way so we did all o our shopping and sightseeing before these two days. the hotel was beautiful. we stayed in the malabri house which was just gorgeous with the trees in the room (although i did hit my head a few times). they really get into the theme with the trees and flowers and the room features. the pool area was quite nice although there was construction a little bit down from it but that didn't really affect us just the view from the pool/ outdoor seating area. the restaurant was very big and the food was great. the breakfast not so great but acceptable. the staff were very helpful. there was a shuttle bus to the city for 300 baht and a free shuttle to the night safari. lovely hotel, must try!

Exceptional services with nice village style”
The design of the room is great. It is exactly the same from the pictures on their website.
The services were superb. We had difficulty to find a tuk-tuk going there from our previous hotel, and they arrange a car to pick up us at once (with charge). They have free shuttle service to the old city (depart at 6:00 p.m. and back at 9:00 p.m.). They offered us detailed information and good advice on sight-seeing, and offered us a free shuttle service to the royal floral which is about 10-15 mins drive from the resort. Everyone at the resort keeps a warm smile. The buffet breakfast was plain, but the meals by order taste good. There were quite a few leaves in the swimming pool so nobody swam. It might be due to the humid air of that area, the toilet seemed a bit dark and damp and had some unpleasant smell which could not be removed. We didn't request to change a room as we just stayed for two nights and don't want to bother to move our luggages. I guess the rooms in the upper floors may be better.
