It is very beautiful and staff friendly, food is super recommend.
We enjoyed our honeymoon at lux le morne. Will definetly recommend to a friend. Staff was nice and helpful. The cleanliness of this resort was exceptional.
Great location, Fantastic Beach, Best part of the island
Only there for three days as was fitting in some rest before business, but I will be back. A great resort. Lovely staff, attentive without being intrusive. Facilities are excellent. The toasted marshmallows at sunset are a lovely touch. I will be back!
Great 5 star hotel that goes the extra mile”
Best hotel on Mauritius!”
Fantastic hotel with best Service I've ever expirienced.
simply fantanstic, a must-visit-again resort”
All is superb, especially that we're upgraded to prestige beachfront suite—a pleasant surprise! A first rate seaside resort with attractive gardening, excellent beach facilities and very relaxing surroungdings of natural style.Compared with St. Regis lying to its south, LUX Le Morne is my preferable choice, for the latter is more a resort than just a seaside 5 star hotel. Sunbeds at LUX at the front of the prestige suite amid cocomut trees are gorgeous! From here, you can drive easily to dolphin bay（塔马琳海豚湾）, seven colored earth（七色土）, baie du cap（天涯海角）,casela park（野生公园）or crocodile park. helpful staff, great location, a very relaxing style featuring local natural elements, a must-visit-again beach resort, only that the main entrance and lobby area is not very attractive—seeming a bit dim
Was greate wonderful staff , clean greate service
Perfect holidays ”
it was good time for us. Sumer started and see and wheater was super.Personal was very frendly. We stayed near beach, bed and towel and beach were clean avery day. It was too expansive but beautiful !
Enjoyed every minute”
Couldn't fault the hotel, everything was as good as it could have been. Only negative I thought was that the food was only average.
Perfect place for vacation and relaxing!”
Fabulous guest relationship services. He is very helpful to give all the information and assist everything. The last but not the least, my car was broke down at last minutes in LUX hotel and with special and very efficient assistance from Cluster PR manager. We were transferred to the taxi. Everything is safe and back home now. LUX is great hotel!
Very nice resort hotel on the beach”
Stay at LUX* le Morne was great overall, I think i just realized I'm just not the hole-yourself-up-in-a-resort type and my comments should be read with that pinch of salt. Will try stay as objective as possible: + rooms great, beach great, gardens, breakfast great, housekeeping prompt and efficient; close to some of the best kitesurfing/windsurfing spots in the world; variety of activities; overall great for a romantic getaway or for people who want to just rest and not worry about much. I strongly recommend renting a car. - relatively isolated, taxis will completely rip you off to take you the few kilometers to closest villages which in turn have very little to offer; i found the food at the hotel itself (other than breakfast which was impressive) quite boring and sterile - they have three restaurants, but i did not manage to convince myself to eat there in the evenings despite trying a few times, menu in hand; service good overall but a teeny bit chaotic at times, had a couple of very minor instances of fast forgotten "certainly sir, i'll take care of it right away"s This being said if i do decide going back kitesurfing in that area, i would consider staying there again.
Best stay except for the weather”
Luxurious hotel, great location and beach”
Part of my honeymoon, stayed here for 5 nights after a week of Safari in South Africa to relax and unwind. Plenty of activities for health and relaxation and all the activities available that you would expect from a luxury resort set on a beach. Breakfast is excellent, very fresh food. Guests are primarily from France and other parts of western Europe. Rooms are to a high standard and kept very clean.
The best beach, regular rooms and terrible meal”
first of all we have got deluxe prestige room in place of honeymoon suite, but frankly this room was even better than honeymoon one. however, it's little bit strange...isn't it? the hotel has definitely the best beach in mauritius: long (700-800 m), clear white sand and entrance to sea, no corals inside water. there is the constant flow in water but it isn't dangerous as in some other places of island. sometimes we had very strong wind, and a lot of all kind surfers appeared immediately. very nice view on morne rock. the rooms aren't big and new, but are more or less ok and comply with the price. spa-center is very expensive and poor in terms of a number of procedures. we don't recommend to use. the meal in the main restaurant is completely terrible and unacceptable in terms of price/quality reasons. we ready to pay us$ 100- for a dinner/lunch but it's stupid to pay for not tasty, cold and sometimes gamy meal. e.g. we haven't managed fresh young coconut during all our 10-day stay. service is also bad, and you can't imagine how many flies... the only good thing is fine house wine from south africa. thus we don't recommend you to buy all inclusive plan as staff try to sell you... the room service isn't solution. they may bring you not the same dish that you ordered, they may change ingredients, they may forgot something at all... the good thing is that you may book two other restaurants the beach and thai one. these places are very good but you need to book it immediately after arrival otherwise they may just have no available places
Great Hotel, Great Location, Fantastic staff.”
From the minute you arrive at the Lux Le Mourne you are made to feel very special, nothing is too much trouble from the management right down through the staff to the gardeners and security guards. There are some very nice touches like the extra seats and games spread about. the setting is spectacular with the beautiful blue sea and palm trees on one side and the brooding Mount Le Mourne on the other side. The food is very good and varied, something for everyone. Plenty of activities if you want them or just chill out and relax by the spectacular pool. Highly reccomended !!!
