Couple for a break away weekend”
Best situated hotel, the parking on premises was safe and secure. We stayed on the terrace of the building, the room was cosy and clean. This is going to be the only place we r going to stay in Cape Town. There is a market where you can get food and something to drink the atmosphere was awesome, we enjoyed it a lot. See Hotel Mojo really soon again
Modern and cool”
Although the rooms are not very big, everything has its place. If the weather is fine it is almost enough. I stayed in a single room with privat bath and a view to the sea, stars and the moon. With a glass of wine, which you can buy downstairs it’s perfect. Katie
Noisy exited visitors. ”
People visiting this hotel are backpackers type. Very good manners but noisy. If you want to have a peaceful rest not recommended. The room without windows.was.very bad especially with loudshedding stage 4. And the heat in cape town. No air no air conditioner working. Very neat hotel on bus route. Thanks
If you don’t like sleeping due to constant noise this is the place for you. ”
If you don’t mind watching and smelling the person who you share the room with taking their No2 then book here, the biggest room is tiny, The staff say the top balcony is closed at 8pm to non guests of the rooms up there they are lying, every night till 3am people drinking up there and then from 6am people having breakfast, I was promised internet in my room due to work commitments but it never worked once. It’s more like a hostel, school kids running around all night long. Stayed 5 nights and didn’t get 1 quiet night. Staff didn’t care. Only good things was the food market next door oh and checking out. If they had offered me a refund I would of happily left and found elsewhere but like I said the staff didn’t care.
Enjoyed my stay at Mojo hotel. I stayed in the Deluxe studio sea view, which was excellent(Thanks to Gragham). The staff are very friendly and Helpful. I thought I got excellent value for money with the Location of the Hotel. The Hotel was being refurbished on arrival and it will be better in the future. I would stay again, the stay was superb. I was taken care of as soon as i entered the building and there was never a shortage of help at any hour of the day or night. the location of the hotel was very convenient for all the activities and the staff were well informed about cape town and helped me get around........I'm deciding to visit capetown again in August😜
There’s no denying that this hotel is in a great location. But that doesn’t make it a great hotel. It is rather a mediocre hotel, in a great location. My first room stank of sewer problems, and I needed to be switched. My second room was poorly organized, with a refrigerator that could only be plugged in when the kettle was not in use, the light switch hidden awkwardly behind a large cabinet, and the main plug for charging the phone dangling awkwardly above the bed, with no table underneath. The rooms are cramped and feel shoddily built. Yes, you have windows, but the windows also face the passageway outside, so in essence you must cover them up at all times. All in all, I would say this place just barely passes as a functional place to sleep.
Good location but bad WiFi”
The hotel is located right next to a big mall with a range of restaurant of different food and drinks, nice place to check out! But the WiFi in the hotel rooms or even next to the router on the rooftop was horrible! The signal was so weak that I could not even do a voice call with messenger services or listen to Spotify. I complained about this, got access to another WiFi but this didn't work out any better. So the staff was (mostly) really nice but if you want to rely on a good WiFi connection, you should probably stay somewhere else.
Great place, perfect localization”
It is really close to the beach and has a fantastic food market right under the hotel, where you can try different foods, souyth african wines and listen to good music. You can also get a bike from the hotel to ride along the coast. Ideal for young people. The air conditioner was not working in the room I have stayed, though, what made it a hard time for us.
Whenever i am in Capetown, i will always go to Mojo Hotel! Its so spectacularly worth the value! The only slight problem was the trash from one of my mates that was lying on the table in our room was never cleared. Otherwise u are the best and i am certainly going to tell all my friends about the place! The staff was very frendly except for one receptionist (she)who was too sirious!
It's in a great location surrounded by everything we were in need of. Staff were fantastic and helpful... Cleanliness 10/10
great location-friendly staff”
I chose a room with a view. It was clean and comfortable. The room was small for what most may expect but I thought it was perfect as I was only in there to sleep. The rooftop lounge area was beautiful to spend time before turning in. The market downstairs had great food , live entertainment and bar area. it is located on a main street so you could walk to area businesses and restaurants, or a block in the other direction to the promenade for beautiful ocean views/ sunsets and every excuse to be outside. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful with answering my questions and providing me with a great experience. I would definitely stay there again.
Very big & spacious family rooms”
Family rooms are big and spacious, ample room for 5. Mojo market with a variety of food stalls is just on the ground floor of the hotel. Sea Point promenade is just across the road. Supermarket and restaurants are walking distance away.
Wonderful stay in Mojo Hotel”
Memorable and wonderful stay in Mojo Hotel Roof top single room with nice garden and sea side and lion head views. Good location with plenty of food restaurants and walking distance to Hop On Hop Off bus pick up point.
Very worth the location. Seafront is just at the back. Great to hangout there in the afternoons. Just outside the motel is a bus stop. Very easy to get around places. Close to Checkers. There's also a cool icecream shop nearby. Female dorm very clean. It also has its own kitchen, separate from the general one. Rooftop area is also very nice to hangout on. If only the weather wasn't so cold during my visit, we would've spent more time there :)
We stayed in a budget room and it was perfect for that price bracket. Used the communal kitchen. A block away from beach walkway, perfectly situated for convenience stores. Woolies food store and Checkers another block away. Friendly staff and clean rooms.
Girls weekend away!”
The Family room with a loft was perfect for our girls weekend away. The hotel was very central, spotlessly clean, even though they are renovating in other areas and the staff were friendly and accommodating. I would recommend this hotel to anyone look for a clean value for money weekend away.
Value for money!”
This is an awesome hotel and the crashpad was certainly great value for money. The rooms are a bit small and cramped, but it wasn't a problem. It is close to the beach and other attractions with amazing views of both the ocean and Lion's Head.
Very nice stay”
Really enjoyed my stay, I stayed in a crash pad which was small but totally adequate for my needs. I loved the roof area, perfect for socializing and soaking up the sun!! Great location with public transport easily available. Will definitely book again
Pros Great location, accessible by phonublic transport, within quick distance of many important sites, reasonably priced. Cons - nothing off top of my head , Hotel should push its accessibility by public transport , namely myciti bus - an extremely reasonably priced way to see the sites of the area.
