More about Pasanggrahan Boutique Hotel

Established in 1904, Pasanggrahan Boutique Hotel is Sint Maarten's oldest hotel. This elegant property is located a 15-minute walk from historic central Philipsburg, and offers free Wi-Fi and sea views. The historic Pasanggrahan was formerly used as a residence for the island's governer and the Dutch royal family. Rooms retain colonial-style décor and feature air conditioning, cable TV and private bathrooms. Some also have a seating area and a fridge. Guests will be able to find several restaurants, bars and cafés within 0.6 mi. The property also has a bar and restaurant on site, as well as a garden and terrace where guests can relax. Pasanggrahan Boutique Hotel is also home to the St Maarten Classic Yacht Club. Free parking is available on site.

The hotel recovered really well from the hurricanes last year. There is still some damage visible at the lobby but the building with the rooms looks and operates just fine. Don&#39;t hesitate to visit because of the hurricanes, they want your support and are absolutely ready to receive guests. Really big and clean rooms. The twin room had a very nice balcony. Friendly staff. Great location, just cross the boulevard and you&#39;re on the beach. Shopping street is on the front side of the hotel.
When we arrived at the beach at 4:45 pm, all the beach chairs had already been stored away and locked. The guy with the keys was already at home. We ended up borrowing some chairs from another hotel.
