Staff o where to be found ”
The bungalow was ok. Ok location. However every time we wanted to require something staff are no where to be found. Waiting 30 mins sometimes for someone to show up. No facilities at the resort either

    Rooms are clean”
The resort is on a hill so yes expect a hard walk, phi phi its self is loud and smelly, so expect no sleep until 2am but this is no fault of the resort, the rooms are clean, aircon works. No safe as suggested on Agoda. The issues are location and noise.

Not an ideal place to stay”
To get to the location itself you have a 20minute incline walk in the sun, it’s horrendous. The WiFi didn’t work at all, Every nighy there is a beach party which you can hear very clearly from your room until 2am every night as the sound travels up into the mountain. Rooms are full of bugs as there is air holes in the bathroom. Every other day the staff light bonfires throughout the day so the room fills with smoke smell and your washing also gets the smokey smell. If it’s not a fire it’s a grinder being fired up early morning. Staff where very friendly and helpful but it’s not worth the money or the awful trek to get here.

The price was right and the staff made sure that everything was set up in regards to electricity and water. The only downside is that you have to walk up the hill to get to it but it is set apart from the rest of the island which is a party island. The hill is no joke but if you’re not rushing then it’s not a problem

Avoid this hotel, miles away in the mountains around a 30 minute uphill hike from the main town had no fan in the room staff are not helpful and did not want to pay back key deposit when we checked out early! Price is okay but you get what you pay for.

Be very aware. call befor you get to the guestolhouse to check if you have the rooms you booked. the young receptionist wanted to put us in a room in a metal shipping container down the road. very arrogant and very rude. he said that hes full and he wasnt. long story short... not worth the hill that drains you everytime you climb it. very noisy rooms especially at night.

Very friendly staff, their is a new french staff at the reception.that were very helpfull. Gave us a good trek adress. The location is a little bit off of the beach, wich is good as those clubs put the music way to loud. Cleaness is okay. Would recommend.

    Awful”
The location isn't good, especially for a back packer as it's as high into the jungle as you could go and up steep hills. Our toilet was blocked so we couldn't use it, the shower only ran cold, and the tap water ran yellow. We only had a fan room which I would not recommend as it was far too hot. All in all I wouldn't ever stay here again, but staff were very friendly.

should have listened to the reviews”
arrived and was told our a/c deluxe triple was unavailable and that we could have a double fan room. we were a group of 3 and they put up an extra bed. they gave us 1000 baht refund for the trouble which is better than nothing I suppose. we spoke to.other guests who had arrived before us and said that 4 other groups had all.had the same booking of a triple with a/c and were told fan was only available. think this is one of their tactics. the next day we were moved into a room with a/c but with one double and one single bed when we had clearly booked 3 beds. couldn't be bothered to complain by this time and just accepted it. I don't know where agoda get the 2 stars from beacuse I dont think it deserves one. the staff, although friendly, seemed a bit clueless on the matter. a bit unfair on them really as I'm sure it's the management who leave them to deal with the chaos caused by their hideous booking system. it's up a huge hill which wasn't really a problem but if you're unfit you may find it a struggle. the place is also swarming with mosquitos but that's down to the jungle location. tbh if we'd have had the room we had booked the stay would have been far more enjoyable

Mould / midlew on the quilts. On each of 3 quilts we had. Almost always noone on reception. And if there was someone - wanted us to pay for 2 out of 4 nights That we have already paid for. Also the location is very loud during nights due to beach parties. Problems with aircondition - it was freezing the room regardless set temperature. Do not recommend.

Rude staff, big steep hill! ”
This accommodation is the furthest possible away from Tonsai Pier, around 20-25 minute walk. On arrival we were given a lift up the very steep hill and were informed that this service runs from 8am to 8pm. This was a lie and in our 2 week stay weren't once able to get a lift up the hill. The staff here are quite rude and unhelpful. On our first day there was a large amounts of ants in our bungalow, we asked the staff if they had ant spray and were able to sort the problem for us. The staff member just handed me a spray and walked off so we had to sort it ourselves. Over the 2 weeks they didn't come in the room to clean once, even when we put the sign out to request our room to be made up. We had 14 nights booked and after 2 nights a member of staff knocked on our door at 9am (check out isn't until 11) to ask if we wanted to stay another night. We had to get out of bed to go and show him the booking again to show we'd booked and paid 14. When we left at the end of our stay we had to wait around for around 20 minutes to get the money we'd had to give them for a deposit back (deposit was for towels apparently but we weren't given any towels!). We then had to ask again for our money as we were in a rush for the ferry and had to wait another 10 minutes, we were then given the money by someone who seemed to be a friend of theirs. As expected no lift down the hill with our heavy bags despite telling them the previous day what time we were going to be leaving with our bags and asking for a lift. Few good points were that we had an Air Con room and the air con ran well. Due to being so far up the hill there are some beautiful views and the hotel is already half way up the hill to the sunset view point so it's quite good for walking up to that. All in all I would avoid this hotel, there are some alternative hotels that looked better on the lower part of the hill.
