Located in the Medina, close to the Jamaâ El Fna Square, Riad Chalymar is a Moroccan house with a modern design with a view of the Atlas Mountains from the terrace. Stay in one of its 4 rooms or 2 suites, all decorated with unique designer furniture. Each room has been decorated in order to convey a cozy feeling. After a busy day spent visiting Marrakech, share a drink with some friends on the Riad's beautiful terrace from which you can enjoy a gorgeous sunset or relax with a book in one of the lounges that surround the pool.
Children and extra beds
All children are welcome.
Extra beds are dependent on the room you choose. Please ask the property for more details.
Good hotel but... ”
The staff are good. They can speak Arabic, English, French, And Spanish. Breakfast was good but can be improved. The rooftop terrace offers beautiful views and good place to unwind after a tiring day of exploring. The Riad, pool and our room are clean but there’s always a cigarette smoke smell. We also like the decoration of the Riad and it’s quiet. We were upgraded from Deluxe to Suite, which was a bonus (after a gruelling 10hr bus ride and food sickness from Merzouga!). Bed is comfortable and the room has heater. The Riad offers dinner menu but we didn’t see anyone dinning. We stayed for 3nights and according to Agoda/Booking.com we’re to get free dinner. However according to the staff, It apparently stopped last May and Agoda/Booking.com have not updated their websites. They still served us Lamb Tagine (bought from outside) since the lady has confirmed the dinner beforehand. Many shops and cafes since it’s in the Medina. Don’t miss the crazy El Fynna Square at night! Few things we didn’t like are: WiFi is very slow (even though in common areas) and cannot reach our room; the guests smoke inside the Riad and you can smell it also in the room; the Riad is not easy to find (download maps.me for offline navigation); lastly, the alleys to go to the Riad are dark and dodgy. It can be scary but nothing happened to us. Overall, It was a nice experience but I would not stay here again.
Sehr zentrale Lage, trotzdem ruhig”
Flughafentransfer ist zu teuer, lieber ein Taxi nehmen.
