Beautiful surroundings, great staff”
Our youngest daughter got married at Rickety Bridge and we had a two night stay there. Everything went smoothly, the setting was beautiful, the food great and nothing was too much for the staff. Friendly, helpful and accomodating. The only negative was the internet which was so erratic as to be non-existent.
Lovely quiet guest house minutes away from town”
The location of this comfortable guest house is ideally situated a few minutes from the arty town of Franschhoek. There are masses of good restaurants and wineries in the area, and one could quite comfortably spend a week there, wining, dining and sightseeing, yet feel relaxed after a long day out! The restaurant at the on-site winery is unfortunately not open at night, which was a pity, as we would have liked to have one dinner there. The room was lovely - a suite with all the creature comforts one expects! Nights are lovely and quiet too, with the owls hooting in the surrounding forests and a lovely view of the mountains and guest house gardens.
