Excellent hotel on an overrated island”
I have no complain about the hotel itself, as everything was perfect from their side. The room, the staff, the grounds...everything as you would expect from a 5 stars. The complain is about the island itself, which I did not find better or more special than any other island, so the prices are much to high for what it offers. It's completely overrated and it doesn't worth paying so much more money than in other places. Same for food, drinks....really expansive and totally unjustified. Also, please be aware that all beaches in Seychelles are public and Beau Vallon is a crowded one, full of tourists and locals.
A Beautiful Resort with Its Staff being its best asset”
Have been to many resorts but savoy seychelles have the best staffs that I have ever encountered. Awesome service with a smile always on the face and ever ready to help. Everyone was very attentive , never getting too intrusive. Located in an excellent location in Beau Vallon . Everything is walking distance .
The best hotel at this money category”
This is our first hotel at seishelas, after we travel and try different ones, but at final we came back, and think why we don't stay here all our holidays. Great location, great beach, good staff, everything is perfect, and it's really good price for this service.
really endjoyed it!
Good Location and Hotel”
Hotel has very good location; near to one of the best beaches of Mahe Island. Hotel facilities also good -Breakfast has western style; has many different foods -Pool is very big and good for children -Fitness center is open 24 hour -Room is clean and has balcony
The facilities are awesome (better fit than Leela Kempinski as we stayed there too)”
Loved the baby swimming pool and big pool but child friendly, loved the Indian restaurant next door (as vegetarian), loved that beach was a step outside the property, loved the bar by the beach, loved the huge bathtub in the room, loved the flowers in the property, loved the snails passing by, loved that it’s not too far from the airport. My daughter (3 year old) never wanted to come back. I usually never recommend (too lazy) but for the price value fit , this one takes the cake, the bakery and all!! Loved it and big thank you!
Great place for holiday”
Everything is at 5-stars level. Good spacious room, rich breakfast, big swimming pool, cool beach and attentive service. There some nice restaurants around (we liked Black Pearl), and Geko Bar at the hotel is good place to see the sunset. Really impressed.
Great location on Beau Vallon Beach”
The resort is well located right by the beau vallon beach. However, the access from the resort grounds to the beach is over a small walkway for pedestrians, a type of mini boulevard which is public. Don't get me wrong its 10 seconds to cross, but the hotel has no private beach of its own although they have sunbeds which are guarded. The good thing about this side of Vallon Beach is that you're right next to the parc where locals sell their food, so grab a delicious take-away. The rooms of the hotel are large and well decorated. and most important very cool. At night there was no need to have the airconditioning on. The pool is large and has a nice design. Only I dod not appreciate the red design on the pool floor. If you stand by the pool it looks like some elephants have menstruated in it. The spa treatments are overpriced, but you can use the jacuzzi in the spa pool for free which is just like a massage. The breakfast is superb. A choice of almost everything, including sparkling wine
Location and stuff ”
The place and the stuff are what made our stay more enjoyable, specially Abdelfatah the receptionist is full of knowledge and very cooperative in every area and what will make us plan to come back again for sure. Thanks AbdelFatah
Very nice hotel, room was amazing, clean and beautiful view, nice swimming pool, very good food, staff was very professional and friendly, especially Mr. Abdul Fattah, he was very very helpful, we had little incident which he fixed in no time, in addition to being very helpful, friendly and easy to talk to, Thanks to Savoy, and Mr. Abdul Fattah for making our vacation more memorable. Highly recommend hotel.
Great room not so great check in ”
Lovely spacious room with an even better bathroom. Great pool with enough chairs and space for all. No views of the beach from hotel and no one from be hotel helping with beach chairs. Check-in experience wasn’t anywhere near what it should have been. Front desk on a computer trying to figure some tint out and didn’t address my presence. After about 5 minutes they gave me my key with zero info about the hotel. Seemed very strange for the Savoy. Another person that was on his phone escorted us to our room although he would have preferred not to. Massage at the spa was exactly what I needed but again the spa front desk didn’t offer any info about the spa or what services were included. Would have expected them to be friendly and offer some sort of information about the spa etc.
Excellent Honey Moon”
This was perfect for our honeymoon. We really enjoyed it. We just had one incident. They wanted us to pay for the Gala dinner on new years eve but we did not attend. They told me it was compulsory. In the end they just subtracted it. I thought it was very expensive to pay that much money for food.
Thank you very much , excellent service , ”
I am a regular traveller who always post my comments and to come to this conclusion is very rear , this is an excellent hotel that must be consider if you are travelling to the island , from the General manager to a simple staff all well trained and provid excellent service , the advice they given me to go a round the island and explor is great noting that normally must of all as a travelers stay for short time , I want thank this hotel for THIER great time that we had.
Beautiful and spacious rooms in a great location”
We had a very nice stay at the Savoy. The rooms and bathroom were fantastic, my wifi worked in the room and was fast enough. Only slight problem was the service wasn't great in main restaurant, very slow at clearing tables and re filling the buffet. The food at the beach bar was very good though and the staff there were excellent.
I don't know why the hotel needs to block the network (e.g apply store, Google play, One drive, Netflix's, Hong Kong news daily), 2 years ago was working, this time we need to use the sim card to browse, even last Dec we stay at next door hotel, there was no problem.
The rooms were amazing...specially the ground floors! Initially i asked for higher floors but i got the ground...but frankly i think they were the best rooms!! Nature facinvg, easy access to beach, friendly staff.. Amazing experience
5* amenities but not always 5* service”
We thought the rooms were huge, facilities great, pool beautiful and usually almost deserted despite the high occupancy of the hotel. The restaurant/ bar staff we encountered were great without exception. The main front of house hotel staff however weren’t very efficient or, in some cases, eager to help; requests made via email prior to the stay were responded to haphazardly (some responded to and some not), some requests totally ignored and despite numerous requests for airport pick up we got no response and were not picked up. This said Randall and Vera tried their best to make up for various flaws in our pre-arrival and check in experience but we feel this area still has serious room for improvement but the hotel itself and all its amenities are amazing, as are the restaurant/ bar staff.
Expensive but worth it”
place was a bit expensive but the room is nice, friendly staff, 2 min walk to the beach, good breakfast options!
Nicky B. - She ruined our trip!
Awesome facility but service was not top notch”
Location and environment made our stay brilliant considering it was our honeymoon, we had a swell time
