Fantastic stay”
We were in the Beamontia building room 314. The ocean view is fantastic with the wonderful yachts and sailboats that are illuminated in the bay at night. Our one bedroom suite is spacious, very clean and comfortable. The fully equipped kitchen comes with all you can need to cook and store your food. Everything works like a charm. The inclosed balcony is wonderful to eat out and enjoy the view. The resort has many different pools to choose from, ranging from very quiet and more intimate to music and an inpool bar. The beach is okay but it’s not mallet bay or orient bay. Everything is close by here, from grocery stores, to restaurants and activities; they are all a walk away. And as a bonus, you can even watch the planes come and go at the airport (don’t worry, the noise is not bothersome). I will definitely come back here some day!

Great location, overlooking scenic beachfront and airport runway with nice pools all over, full kitchen, very large porch with ocean view, very spacious suite with a lot of visible security. Free parking with casino on compound. Check in could be a little quicker, but a very friendly staff. Very clean and well maintained. Based on the places I researched, I think it is the best hotel on the island!

Simpson Bay is a friendly resort with a great location. It has a nice beach, beach bar, pools, and a laundry facility. It is close to the airport and many restaurants. The rooms are well equipped and comfortable.

The resort is located in a beach setting with lots of restaurants close by an d many amenities on the property. It has mualtiple pools and restaurants on site. The staff is friendly and welcoming. They were quick to respond to a maintenance issue and the property is well ligthed with plenty of parking.

Beautiful rooms. Clean. Location is perfect. Well equipped apartment. Free shuttle in the resort. 40 minutes walk to the Maho beach. Supermarket is in the resort also.

Beautiful Hotel with idyllic views and spacious rooms.”
We stayed in December 21 for a 3 night stay. Our room was not in the main building and in hindsight as we are both in our 60's, we would have asked to move in view of the steep 5 minute walk back to our apartment, but in view of the shortness of our stay and the fact there is a free courtesy bus available we didn't bother asking. Overall it was a wonderful stay at a beautiful hotel with idyllic harbour view and sunsets.

Great beach, facility alright”
The beach is beautiful, calm, and clean. The location is within walking distance to plenty of restaurants. The room was large, clean, and quiet. However, the exterior of the facility could use some work. Sidewalks are either very small or non-existent and cars drive entirely too fast. There are some steep hills and blind corners and had some close calls with cars zooming around. Overall I would stay here again, the location can't be beat!

The friendly service, size of room and amenities, choice of pools and beaches were all very good. On the con side, if you are not a member and/or if you are here on business, then you miss out on a lot of the info as to what is going on for activities, possibilities for excursions, etc

Staff are friendly. Room was good but depressing - be very careful you are not looking on to the rear car park - we got moved after complaining that this wasn’t a garden view. Facilities are great and convenient for lots of Simpson Bay restaurants.

We enjoyed our stay here. Room was very spacious and comfortable. Highly recommend dinner at Isola's The WiFi was very unreliable. It would drop connection or slow to a crawl on a regular basis.

Not worth the money ”
Well I’ve been to other Caribbean resorts and wasn’t impressed when I got to Simpson but the facilities made up for it and the location to restaurants was good plus they also provided transportation to surrounding areas but it honestly wasn’t worth the cost of stay but ultimately enjoyed

Stuck up the hill”
We stayed here in 2017. Our suitewas located in the building along the bay. We had a short walk down a few flights of stairs to the pool and beach. We loved it. This stay we booked a similar suite, however we were placed in a room at the top of a steep hill with a view of a concrete wall. The front desk found us another room, however, it would be an additional $830.00 to change rooms. We declined. We used the pool daily. We trecked to the bay beach only twice during our 10 days. Be careful to get the room you think you are booking!

It's a Safe Choice”
When I arrived there were a lot of people checking in, so obviously it's a very popular hotel. The hotel sits on Simpson Bay and surrounding it are very useful amenities: a grocery store, a bar, convenience store, etc. So it's definitely a safe choice. Also, for those of you who like to go out, it's near all the party locations on the Dutch side of the Island, as well as a couple of the higher rated restaurants.

Be careful when you book room”
This hotel is huge. They have also torn down some buildings so I guess it has been bigger before. I was put in a room far away from everything and after one night I got them to change my room. None of my rooms had a view. Staff was helpful but slow. Hotel breakfast was quite dull and very expensive. They maintain the hotel to a good standard but it is a little dated. Nice pool areas.

Nice rooms, weird property”
Reviewing this as a younger couple looking for fun in the sun. Very hilly, rooms are a far walk to beach and other non resort restaurants. Hotel shuttle unreliable, if you can’t come pick us up just say so, don’t say yes and then not show up. Rooms were very nice and clean, no complaints on the actual room itself but ours had no view of anything with the ground floor entrance down behind a retaining wall. Main pool was decent. Lots of older American couples, timeshare owners. Beach was ok but definitely not the best on the island - saw some of the best beaches of my life elsewhere. Would recommend a rental car. Location was in the general area of most restaurants on the island that we found but still too far and hilly to want to walk to them. Dining options on property were not our favorite, some were very American, we wanted more local Island vibe. The Mexican place seemed good and breakfast buffet there seemed great but didn’t end up going there. We also stayed a few nights at Divi and it was absolutely amazing property and would 100 percent choose Divi over this property. We had beach front amazing beach and pools for same price, and the vibe was much more vibrant. Hate to compare so directly but that was our experience - very night and day.
