Terre Des Etoiles
Book with caution”
Terre Des Etoiles is described as an oasis in the desert, which it would be if it wasn’t for all the lies. It’s billed as great for families with all mod cons, but it wasn’t until we’d arrived and paid in full that we were shown the full picture. There is only electricity and hot water between the hours of 7-9am and sunset to 10:30pm, so if you’re a young family you’re in trouble. Nowhere to sterilise or wash your bottles, nowhere to boil a kettle and no bottled water for sale as they’ve developed a ‘filtration system’ for their water (which is recycled, so bring your own or enjoy drinking someone else’s shower water during your stay). They don’t tell you that there’s a sawdust toilet, or that your room will smell like a rabbit hutch because of it, or that 700 flies will invade your personal space, and that although they bill it as family friendly no staff would ever bring their children there. Ps. We still haven’t received our refund even though we left shortly after arriving
Beautiful nature stay in the stone dessert”
We really enjoyed our night, the place is in the middle of nowhere and you still have everything you need to feel cozy and. great luxury tents, pool, garden, trampoline, relax areas as well as horse, camel area. a donkey carries your luggage to your tent. We would definitely recommend that special experience :)
