Great Hotspring”
Nice place to relax with mud hot spring facilities. Not much to do in the vicinity but there's a great restaurant selling affordable oven baked chicken. Had one of our best meals in Taiwan here.

Mud hot spring excellent”
Very good location near the bus station. There's ample food choices just outside. Not to be missed is the shops selling the famous mushroom eggs/desserts and oh so succulent mochis. Hot spring facilities and king sized beds makes for a comfortable stay. Great view of the mountains from the room.

MUST TRY”
When you stay at this hotel , the one thing that you MUST TRY is the mud spa. Go for a private one if you're too shy to share the communal muddy spring water soak. We had a go at the private one which came with a can of the mud. Use that and spread it all over your face and upper body (lower body too) if you get out of the water. Let it dry off and then wash it in the bath. It's what we call SUPER SHIOK !!! (which means very nice)

Spa at the mountainous area”
Good experience with the spa, and good local restaurant just right outside. Must try the crispy chicken there. Not much to shop around there so its good for relaxation and walk around the mountain trails.

Great Mud Hot Spring”
we, a group of 5 adults, had a chartered service from Kaohsiung, took about 90m cost NT$2500. Rooms hygiene were fine. Bottled water and coffee & tea bags were complimentary. In-room mud hot spring was excellent and pubic one was good. Indoor bare hot spring was great too! Breakfast and dinner were ok and will recommend to eat out.

Better priced than other hotels, huge clean room and with mud spa”
Large clean room, many different spas. Price is good compared to other nearby resorts. Good breakfast spread, near some restaurants but you will need to drive down to the park or other eateries for the famous wood cooked chicken

Good indoor mud spa”
Enjoyed the mud spa, esp the indoor one. Outdoor pools are small, but it is ok cos we went on weekdays not so crowded. Hotel room is a bit dated and old but acceptable. Good local Taiwanese breakfast buffet. There are some restaurants and a convenient store juz opp the hotel. However, it is quite a distance from Old Street so be prepared to walk or wait (can be long) for the bus to go up.

Acceptable prices in this district but spooky”
The hotel is considerably acceptable in this area when compare to the other hotels that provided hotspring as well. The breakfast is fair with quite a lot of choices. Yet, there is one thing that bothers me which is the spooky atmosphere. The way to the laundry is all dark at night and it's a bit horrifying if you go alone. Worst of all, some of the travellers experience the shaking beds at night and we are not sure what are "they". Asking the staff the next day morning they just explain that as an earthquake while the official observatory don't even report that. This is really quirky and we wish you all be aware of that.
