Village du Pecheur
Pretty beachfront hotel ”
We experienced lows and highs but, all-in-all, enjoyed our stay, left happy and would be willing to recommend and return ourselves. We arrived after a long journey to be told the Junior Suite we had booked and paid for was not available and we were offered only a standard room across the road. We were unhappy, but the hotel compensated with a hefty refund and free evening meal with cocktails. The evening meal was lovely, and I would recommend this seafront restaurant and its romantic evening setting to anyone visiting Praslin. The standard room was spacious, cool, and for the most part comfortable - the bathroom was well furnished, but needed a deep clean and some renovation. Little things made us equate this room with 3 star accommodation - wall sockets that needed adaptors, but only one being available that had to be swapped between the fridge and the kettle, no hairdryer, etc. The junior suite room was very nice - well worth the extra money and made the experience for me.
No really negative thing, but at this price you can expect this. Pos. Free Upgrade to seaview room upon request (depends on occupancy) Free beach beds Beach will be cleaned from seaweed Free wifi Breakfast buffet Friendly Security man Neg. Room could be cleaner Staff could be more friendly cockroach found in the bathroom. Not nice but that could be possible in the tropics. Independent if it is a budget guest house or a 5 star resort…
Lovely hotel, beach and location, but not so happy and and service minded Staff”
I love this hotel, but the energy of the people who works there was not so good, not so good service and communication. But some were very nice, especially the security people, who works there, I felt very safe and they where polite and friendly. Food was very simple but expensive.
beautifull,most recomended. great locatoin !! ”

Great Value for Money ”
Good Food and Great Value for Money!
Good choice ”
The hotel could be a very nice butique hotel if it had a good management. The room, bath and terrace are very good, but the furniture is terryble. Some style of antique with plenty of cushens and no table. I asked your customer support to change the hotel, but the answer was I have to prove that the TV iss not working and our body is full of sand flees. This was my last booking with agoda!
Visit to Praslin”
Really enjoyed our stay at Village du Pecheur. Room was great, spacious, clean, with good balcony and nice interior. Staff was friendly. Only slight minus was no access to wifi in room and no eggs second day of breakfast but as I said very minor. Would recommend this hotel especially to couples for a very nice and relaxing stay in Praslin.
Perfect ocean view room which was very comfortable”
Beautiful location and hotel was artfully designed. Quiet and relaxing stay
Lovely villa right on the beach”
We spent five nights at Village du Pecheur - a lovely villa right on the beach. THe staff was friendly and the rooms were nice and clean. We had some trouble with the water one day (something was broken) but we were (without asking for it) compensated with a nice dessert after dinner one night. The restaurant proved to be one of the best in the area and we ate several meals there felling a bit exotic with the sand touching our feet. The beach was nice and clean and suited the whole family. At other beaches the currents could be a bit dangerous but here we could safely let our 8-year old play in the water. If we go back to the Seychelles we will definitelly go back to Village du Pecheur!
Cozy stay and Edith was a fine host”
We stayed for 6 nights and Edith was a fine host who made sure that we had a good stay. Definitely recommended and the rates a very sensible.
The hotel is gorgeous - open plan with a view straight through to the beach from the entrance. The beach continues on into the restaurant area with its sandy floor. In just a few paces you are standing on a lovely beach, with 2 dive centres within easy walking distance, and the fantastic Cafe des Arts restaurant just a short walk along the beach. Our bedroom (room 11) was huge, with lovely balcony and a large bathroom with separate shower and bath and separate loo area too. Staff were extremely helpful with trip to La Digue, car hire, restaurant reservations and late checkout. I cannot fault this hotel and it's the best location on the island as far as I could see. Anse Lazzio - the most stunning beach - is a short drive away and a MUST visit if you can tear yourself away from the hotel and the lovely Cote d'Or beach.
Relax on the Beach or Explore...”
good location, nice AC”
We were located in a new building behind the hotel, across the road. Our view was of a car park, not the ocean. Room was nice, clean, and had very good AC.
Beautiful beach, too noisey, too expensive, ”
We booked a beach view room, our direct view was the storage place for beach furniture and vegetation if you moved your chair to the right location you could get a small view of the beach. Agoda hotel in Asia were far superior for the same price. I see this as the hotel problem not Agoda.
