West Coast Life Lodges
Small but adequate accommodation. Well situated for beach. Good breakfast.”
Breakfast and the view from the breakfast room were excellent.
Definately coming back”
Thats exactly where we wanted to be. Best location, friendly staff, cleanliness. We definately coming back and will surely recommend
Cob webs on the roof, sand on bedside tables as well as on the duvet, bath towels with holes in them, two bath mats first day, one bath mat second day. Room 15 is in the dungeon. Noisy, right next to audible entrance door for the whole unit. Initially DSTV did not work. Breakfast awful, coffee bland, scrambled eggs looked like some pie, juice was artificial, bacon was swimming in oil. Mushrooms were good, assortment of bread poor.
The refrigerator had a foul smell that spread in the room and damaged all our food. Unacceptable!.. Otherwise, basic room, Wi-Fi non-existent but clean and superb view of the ocean. Very good breakfast.
The place was amazing and the stuff were very welcoming. One thing that caught my attention was the refrigerator which had a bad smell.
I would not call this a hotel, its more of a holiday home with rooms. We were there for a wedding at Boesmanland and needed 1 night close by and this location was perfect as we could walk to and from the venue. The room (ground floor) says garden view but there is no garden and no view as the tiny window faces the boundary wall. This room is also next to the front door so its noisy as people are in and out. Its small and dark and the floor tiled throughout so makes it cold as there's no carpet or mat. Too much built in cupboards makes it feel small. We only stayed for one night so it served the purpose. Difficult to know which place you staying in when you book online as they have a few properties with reception at Crystal Lagoon at 52 Casos Way, and the other two houses are identical at 46 and 36 Casos Way, think they call it Tower Blue and Sand Tower, the one we stayed at was no. 36. The breakfast is also at Crystal Lagoon so you have to walk there for breakfast, and check in there.
The hotel is within a secured estate right on the beach. The room was clean but a little tired (dated) with beautiful ocean views. The big bed is a double so a bit tight for a tall couple. The breakfast was fine, but nothing special. The staff were friendly and helpful. Overall it was a nice place to stay but nothing special.
Location is awesome, however the room we had was not up to standard. Bar fridge didn't do its job. The toilet didn't flush properly and the shower door was off the track.
Small room (for family), great location”
Pro's: Great location right on the beach with great views of the water; great breakfast with lots of options; clean and quiet. Cons: the "family suite" room was rather small; the balcony inexplicably faces the street instead of the beach.
The room had windows and sliding door onto a balcony, beautiful, but it leaked and the carpet was wet the next morning. Also the wind was blowing the curtains, although everything was closed. Disappointing stay. No plugs so couldn't use the heater or hair drier.
I thought 'studio' would be elegant. It turned into probably the worst room in the complex. It was a budget room, with a view of a side wall, with no door on the toilet, and the bed was hard. The breakfast was awesome though, and view from everywhere, apart from our 'servants quarters accommodation', was superb.
Zimmer ist sehr klein toller Blick auf Sonnenuntergang Strandspaziergänge
