Convenient to downtown and nightlife”
This is a typical APA Hotel with all the standard features. The rooms are small and tidy. I liked the view of the backsides of the city buildings. The onsen on the roof is a special feature and the view and open air make it nice treat. Otherwise, there is lots of shopping, many many restaurants, and several major city sites are all basically within walking distance. A short bus ride to the train station.

Nice hotel, good location (to the train station you need to take a bus, there is JR bus, for which u can use JR pass. The best is an onsen on the top of the hotel with a view on the city; both indoor and out door (man one). They stored our luggage for free. Good breakfast at extra charge, but a bit pricey (1000jpy per person).

Good business hotel, location and accessibility
Hotel wise was good considering it's a business hotel. Fantastic location - on a main street, opposite H&M and my favourite Loft. If u like shopping, lots of interesting shops surrounding the hotel. To get there take either the LL/RL or local buses. The bus stop is only a few steps away.

Tiny room without a view.”
Onsen on rooftop. Clean. Central location
I knew my room would only be 16sqm, what I didn't know was that half of this was taken up by a wet cell bathroom. So basically I could just squeeze into the room and lie on the bed to look at a dark light shaft between two buildings. Luckily there is an onsen on the rooftop where one can soak in piping hot water and enjoy views over the city. One thing I wasn't happy with was that reception charges 1000yen to extend checkout by one hour.

Rooftop onsen, location, and clean
I booked online two days before arriving and got a good price. The room was clean. The onsen is small but wonderful especially after a bitterly cold day; something special about being in a hot bath with snow falling on you all while in your birthday suit. The staff are pleasant. It is an impersonal hotel: there is a key drop box in front of the elevator so you don't have to talk to anyone when checking out. There's a Seattle's Best coffee in the lobby. The hotel offers a breakfast deal there. I didn't take the deal. The only time I took any transit was to and from the station.

Free on-sen!
Check-in is once again at 3 PM. I arrived around noon but went out and came back around 3:15 PM. There were so much people queuing to check-in and I always wonder why can't they just give room a bit early if it's ready to avoid this problem. Hotel is very strict about person with tattoo even with just with a small no-meaning graphic tattoo. So I didn't use the on-sen but it looks pretty nice but yet crowded.

Generally a good value”
Good location - some staff had good English (some not!) - nice rooftop bath/hot tub (separate for men/women)
Not a 'memorable' hotel, but good overall. Clean, quiet room, very small. The mattress for this 'small double' might need replacing, as it seemed a bit saggy. There's a Seattle's Best Coffee Shop in the lobby, which is handy for morning. However, don't come back at lunch for a sandwich. They make the sandwiches in the morning and when they're gone, they're gone. So most are gone by lunch! The location was fine for a tourist - plenty of shops and restaurants, and the bus stops also close.

Location, Cafe in lobby, and public bath
This hotel is very no-frills. There's not a great deal to recommend it beyond its location. If you don't want to be near the train station (about a 12-min walk away) or stay in a ryokan, this hotel is a decent choice as it's near a number of cultural and historical places worth visiting, and in just about any direction you walk in there are numerous excellent restaurants, cafes, and pubs.

Tidy, well kept rooms, rooftop onsen, and friendly staff with at least basic English
The rooms were a little cramped, but certainly no more than any other typical hotel in Japan. Staff friendly and helpful. There's a rooftop onsen to relax in after a long day's walking, with views over the city. The hotel has an eco-friendly policy, explained on a little card in your room, where you can opt to have your room tidied but the sheets and towels not replaced Nice place, would definitely stay again. Probably the best choice of the APA hotels in Kanazawa purely for location.
