Gorgeous rural stay”
This place was a piece of heaven, only 10 minutes tricycle ride to Alona beach where everything is! It is also 15 minute walk to white beach which is much more peaceful. What I loved most about this hostel is they can organise everything for you! Transfers to the port, tours, meals, products! The dorms are basic but have fans and mossie nets. There is one hot shower which is lovely to shower outside. There’s even a laundry station. The only thing I think needs to improve is some of the staff - very hot and cold for some reason! Also the food is magical - the best breakfast I’ve had at a hostel!

a place to make friends”
it’s really a place where you can meet people from anywhere in the world. if you’re a solo traveler and you want to have some company, this place is awesome. it’s like a village of friendly-minded people with one common goal : to learn our differences but realise we’re all just the same.

I absolutely loved my stay at coco farm! Coco farm is located just 10 min away from Alona beach and offers a wide selection of organic foods (including vegetarian and vegan). This is a place you would end up extending your stay. It's got a perfect setting for reconnecting with the nature, and meeting like-minded people. Waking up to a misty rain forest like scenery, hearing birds singing while taking a shower, and staying up talking with other travelers on hammock are the highlight of my stay. They are well connected with reasonably priced tours, and you can rent a motor cycle there as well. So you can do a day stuff and chill at coco in the evening (or just chill all day at coco!). The place is run by a lovely Filipino family, and it's got a social, chill vibe! So recommended for solo travelers. They maintain their facilities well and clean: I've stayed in a hostel in Alona but found that toilets and showers are cleaner at coco. Their wifi was by far the best in my stay in Philli

Perfect Budget Accommodation for Eco -Travellers”
I can't seem to find anything wrong. Excellent customer service from friendly staff. Food is clean & delish: Restaurant offers vegan and vegetarian options. Even their complimentary breakfast is fresh and healthy. If Im not mistaken ingredients used for their meals is coming from their farm. Oh coffee and drinking water is free. The rooms are simple, clean and nice. The restrooms and shower (hot & cold) areas are in excellent condition (it even smell good). They even have a laundry area! The vibe is homey. I also love how they imparted discipline, honestly and respect to travellers staying with them. No fuss. For example, no flipflops/shoes are allowed inside the room. For food orders, get the menu & order from the staff. Get your own drinks from the fridge & show this to the cashier. After eating your meal, bring your empty cups/glass/plates in the dish basin and separate leftovers. Location: peacful &green! Thanks EJ for the assistance when I suddenly change my itinerary! Cheers!

eco-friendly with good sleep quality backpacker stay”
i never thought i could have peace and good deep sleep in this dorm! the cheapest dorm i ever get with free healthy breakfast! The backpackers from all places came to this farm and everyone are well behave and quiet in motion when they are in the room and not too noisy in the common place. You will wake up in the morning with lots trees, sunshine, rooster crowing and bird chirping sound. highly recommended for relax and no rush trip! they even have hammock for relax chilling places!

Cheap rooms, clean facilities, friendly staff. The scooters are very cheap (400 pesos /24 hours) and the food was homegrown and tasted amazing. Try out the noodles made from coconut--flesh if you like garlic. The were swell as fuck.

BASIC AND A MISTAKE”
so i had an idea what expect from roughness of the pictures BUT i said LET TRY as read well . pro: big room not bunk be common area big/ nice layout cons basic , to point it a joke with big rooms and not enough fans per son !!!! if u want live like a villager sure book ..there is ZERO COMFORT HERE. yes is cheap but its easy 20 min drive to town , loads of mosquitos in room and commin area ..yes they give nets but i sorry this was far to basoc even as a backpacker i like atleast one fan per bed per person not 6 people share 1 fan either side the room wilhich is. loud ! i came in june it was HOT AND HUMID and rooms dont get cooler at night so fans are pointless. ZERO SECURITY for belonging ..and nothing! can lock door on dorms , not really safe place i felt ...i didnt feel safe leaving my stuff so i end up carfy alot stuff with me all day . Breakfast is generous but tasteless ! says hot showers but i didnt. notice difference which ok as cold shower help in this heat and thereof LACK OF showers . place isnt clean by anymeans but natural rustic i def dont recommend this.place if u want sleep in some comfort of 8 hours sleep ..this cheap in every sence cheap . i came. i saw.....NOOO ..THERE CHEAP! AND THERE COCO FARM ...

Hi Adam I am very sorry for disappointing your stay and expectation. i just want to point out on some issues you raise up *SECURITY OF YOUR BELONGINGS - we provide individual lockers per bed but we don't provide the padlocks for security reason of your personal belongings that's why we ask you to provide your own padlock and we provided also a storage room area for all of the guest who wants to put there extra baggage and additional lockers. *ZERO COMFORT - we try our best to give the comfort for every guest that we have here *common area good for 70 people *hammocks to chill in *better Wi-FI connection *free water and coffee all day long *8 comfort rooms *4 shower rooms (2 hot shower/2 normal shower) if the guest wants turn up the temperature they are free to ask for our assistance to do it because if we open it the machine to everyone not all of us travelers are responsible enough to take care of the things of others.
