Great place to stay in! Near the temples, has aircon, good wifi and the shower works! Better to stay even at least 1 night here rather than doing Borobudur as a daytrip from Jogja as it's rather kinda tiring to do that.

The location is stay away from the road 100 meters surrounding by the palm tree, so it is very quiet and pleasant environment. The staff very helpful speaking English very good. I book the standard room but the manager upgrade the better room without extra charge.

Cempaka Guset House is the second place we've stayed in after arriving in Indonesia. Untill now, this is the one I remember the most. The staff was so nice and welcoming. I recomend that Guest House!

Very good”
Great location for temple. Very nice and friendly staff. Breakfast was fantastic. Nice shared area with lots of seating and tables. Rooms were ok, have everything you need. Minor ant problem, but wasn’t a big deal and didn’t bother us. I’d highly recommend this place for the price.

Tolerable for temple visit”
Near enough to Borobudur to walk there but long walk from street food vendors and restaurants if you've already spent the day walking around the temple. Room very cramped and would be tight for two adults. Staff are friendly. The place is fine for one night but would be uncomfortable for anything longer.

Perfect to visit Borobudur”
Room small, although with comfortable bed. Really nice space outside to chill and eat. Staff 5 stars, not perfect English but they really try and care about you. They organise trips to borobudur sunrise through a resort, taking you by motorbike to the entrance, which is really helpful. It is a cheap and cute option to visit Borobudur.

Simple yet comfortable”
This is really a simple 'homestay' style guest house to stay in yet comfortable. For me it's beautiful & if you're looking for cheap guest house with local Indonesia's ambience, this is a good choice! The size of the room is quite small but overall I think worth the price. The breakfast is not bad. The staff are very friendly & helpful. I think their service to send the guest to Manohara Resort for Candi Borobudur sunrise activity at the same price of the entrance fee was a great idea! I really love that, save us the trouble to find the transport & save our budget too. Just keep in mind that there is no road for car to go into the guest house, which means your taxi have to park outside & you have to walk in (just for 2 or 3 minutes walking distance to reach, it's not that far from the main road to the guest house)

Good rooms very close to the temple!”
The rooms were good but a little small. But is was clean and the bed was good! It's very close to the Borobudur temple, a 10 minute walk to the entrance I think. They also rent a scooter or bicycles. We went to the Merapi vulcano by scooter. Breakfast was very good! Fried rice or fried noodles! Staff was helpfull, but their English was not good, so a little bit clumsy sometimes.

Basic, with slightly damp smell, but we just stayed here for a night to get up early in the morning for sunrise. Easy to get to the hotel on site from where we accessed Borobodur.

Nice affordable hotel near Borobudur ”
Very friendly staff , we were provided complimentary drop for sun rise at Borbodur as we purchased tickets from there . At night it was quite noisy as staff were talking aloud . Breakfast has Two options Fried rice or Fried noodles but both were quite tasty . If you planing to take Sun Rise tour better spend extra money and stay at Manohara resort

Refreshing calmness”
The building & the room makes you feel like living in a traditional Javanese house. The deluxe room has a bathtub! For the price, it really exceeded my expectation. The girl that was in charge during out stay was very nice. She made us very tasty fried rice for our breakfast. The location is very strategic, only approx. 5minutes walk to Borobudur temple. Perfect if you want to get there first thing in the morning. This hotel also provide bicycle rental.

feeling at home!”
The guest house is hidden from the main road. if you come by car you need to go through a weird property (go till the end, its all worth); if you arrive walking you can take the paved way on the side. lovely place, quiet and walking distance from the temple. at night a little geko came to say hi and some ants walked during day. this is almost the jungle and i'm cool with it. the rooms aren't huge but we came here to explore the area, not stay indoors. otherwise you can hang out in the common areas. TV and wi-fi work great. The staff arranged a guided tour (worth the money!), did our laundry for a small fee and pampered us each morning with a traditional breakfast! FYI there's a tiny graveyard right behind the building ; avoid if you're scary; visit if you're brave! i would definitely recommend this place!

little paradise”
The site is a bit hidden, go through the parking lot and you will arrive (if you go walking theres a paved path on the side). You're surrounded by nature and birds will wake you up in the morning. The place is clean and confy; some little geckos and ants might show up but it's expected in a tropical region. The staff helped us organize a guided tour and made sure we were always ok: breakfast in the morning, umbrellas and clean clothes. i would certainly recomend this place!
