Traveling to Egypt? Find Alexandria hotels

I had booked a sea view room through agoda but when i reached the hotel, they told me it is not sea view and they gave me a side view room.. i was so disapointed that i don't get what i've booked.. i came from Cairo to spend only one night in a good hotel with a sea view.. that was my only desire..who should compensate this?? The hotel or your website??? And by the way the sea view room is more expensive than the other and i had paid the value of the sea view one..

I had an excellent stay at the Hilton Corniche Alex. I spent the New Year 2015 eve there with nice party (a bit over priced. The Cigar Bar is very relaxing,with especilly the bar manager-Emad who's very accomodating and welcoming. I'm sure will be back to this hotel when be back in Alexandria - Egypt next time.

we booked to stay at this hotel in alexandria..we were shocked to find that it is 60-70 kms away from the city and in amidst the worst jumble of rotting houses i have ever see..very unattractive area and definately not worth a visit..the rooms and staff were lovely although we never did manage enough hot water to even wash with..the breakfast room is shabby and even dirty and the food poor value, dull and repetitive. unless you are planning to spend hours alone on what looks a beach with a bomb site please go elsewhere. the tv worksand should you be wanting a few days in your room this would be ideal but definately not otherwise.

Highest attention from all staff ,they made our accommodation very comfortable, nice room view. They made a nice and delicious tart for our anniversary (marriage anniversary) Hotel in general has brilliant services , rooms were spotlessly clean as was the whole hotel! The staff were superb, very welcoming, friendly, helpful and really made our stay special, they really went over and above, from security through to the details. Here my greetings to Mr.wael aboelsoud Hotel manager , Mr Mohamed Manager Assistant, Khaled and Adham in front desk. We will definitely be back again sooner rather than later. Would highly recommend it

The hotel is located not exactly near at the bustling city center of Alexandria, however its location is still close to all destinations and the very near to Green Plaza Mall . We had the family room which was excellent for us. Check in and check out was not a problem. Breakfast was great. All in all, it is an excellent hotel.

Situated right in the heart of Alexandria, the Triomphe is a great place to stay. Our room was really large with rustic furniture, heaps of natural light and a balcony with sea and city views. The bathroom was super spacious too and everything worked well, especially considering the age of the building. A super affordable place with lovely, helpful staff. In short, we loved our stay at the Triomphe and we think most people would love it too. Of course if you want somewhere modern with pristine facilities then go to the Four Seasons.

There was a male receptionost who is approximately 21 years old and tall. After check in, he kept begging me for money from my country so he could save up to leave Egypt and find employment abroad. After the third time asking(less than two hours after I arrived) I went to search for money for him. After I gave it he kept asking me how much each coin was worth. After checkout, he kept asking for my number because he wanted to know if I could help him get a visa to work in Europe. He is very annoying and the hotel is better off without him. He is very childish. Lqstly, remember that you must pay in cash! No credit card is accepted!

Good place, I advice every one who is seeking a quite, clean, pleasent and with a sea view hotel to go there. It is in the middle of the corniche road that you can go every place easily. I spent only one night but it was a memorable experience. In the nearest future, I aim at repeating the visit to that hotel.

nice safe hotel. a little far from the center of alexandria with the trafic. there is a free closed parking. Chopping center is verry near. sometimes it is verry noisy because of al the restorants outside the hotel. From the entrance to the farest rooms it is 2 km walking who is verry far also you have to take 2 elevators. this hotel was verry clean in comparation with many other hotels in Egypt.

We had a great stay there. It all started with the car parking which was great. The room was well decorated and the bed was very comfortable. The was very quiet considering the location of the hotel in a noisy area. The private beach was awesome, especially with the tunnel that runs under the beach road. Breakfast could not be better with a huge variety of food choices. My wife loved the interior decoration and artwork done like in palaces A perfect hotel to relax and unwind.😀

was ok for first time travellers to egypt, they need to make sure rooms are aired out regularly

i stayed on this hotel just one night, but i enjoyed my stay there & the hotel is very clean & it's rooms have a very good view

excellent hotel location as the hotel in the the hearth of alexandria city which closed to restaurants, bazaars, cafes and nightlife activities, the hotel condition is also very good,the room is clean and the kingsize bed is comfort ,the stuff was friendly

i enjoyed the hotel was minutes to be in ramel station and the hotel was almost new in high floor

The breakfast buffet was perfect, large selection and good food. The room was not very clean (floor full of dust and crumbles and bedsheets very old) , there was a weird bad smell in the bathroom and the AC had a horrible smell... which makes you think it Had never been cleaned.... The reception staff was extremely rude on Arrival and departure. The services provided are no where near the Standards of HILTON and its ranking stars, therefore the price paid is a rip off and you are treated like absolute shit ! So much for a warm welcoming in a country that needs tourism !!! The waiters were kind (pool and restaurant). We are a young couple used to travel extensively, easy going and generally giving generous tips, but the greetings and departure were simply scandalous and not acceptable under any circumstances. I would never recommend this hotel, the management of Hilton and this hotel need to seriously get it together and review their standards. This is ourfirst time we give a bad review

The apartment was nice enough, but is not in the location indicated in agoda maps. For a tourist wanting a week of beach, this location might be fine, but for business it is located too far from city center. Also, the policy of paying per western union and not with cc for reservation was cumbersome and time consuming. If you are visiting Alexandria to view the city, a more central location is far more convenient.
