Hotel staff was exceptional! I was greeted immediately upon walking in to the hotel and was offered drinks and also had my bags brought up to the room. My room was ready immediately and the bell hop also provided a full tour of our room and explained how to use all of the amenities! The receptionist at the front desk was also helpful and explained different places to hangout in Barcelona and how to be safe in the city. Barcelona is a very safe city, just be smart with your bags and wallets! Keep them zipped up and keep values at the bottom of your bag. Also, keep a copy of your passport in your wallet and keep the original in the safe in your room!

Enjoyed our stay at this hotel in Barcelona and couldn’t have been better. - Excellent location- 10 to 15 minutes to La Ramblas, right infront of McDonalds and Subway and one of the best restaurants I’ve been to (Antic Cafe), next to several supermarkets and clothes shops (including Carrefour express) - If you want to reach any place in Barcelona cheaply you could use the metro right infront of the hotel or use the bus on the other side of the road. I would recommend to buy 10€ ticket of 10 rides either by bus or metro. - The best thing about the hotel is its staff. They were really helpful in telling us the places to visit in Barcelona and how to reach them by metro or bus using the hotel map which was extremely helpful. MANY THANKS TO MR SERGI AND ALL THE STAFF!! They made the hotel feel more than a 5 stars and I haven’t found such welcomes staff like that in any hotel in the countries I have visited. Further to that, they gave my baby boy a balloon every time they see us. Really don’t know how to thank them! - Very rich breakfast buffet with a lot of choices and great drinks - Beautiful panoramic pool and rooftop to enjoy with a great bar to enjoy all sort of drinks and cocktails. P.S. Don’t forget to reserve for the cocktail classes or visit during their free beer tasting time. - Large spacious rooms which are cleaned everyday - Definitely would be back soon and I highly recommend it specially for all the service it offers compared to its affordable cost.

It is a bit pricey, but definitely worth every penny. I talked to many locals after wards, they all say it’s one of the best hotels in Barcelona, close to everything, staff is very helpful, the bartenders are great) I went to the spa every single day, sauna is always hot and everything is super clean. I had a deluxe room with a terrace ) it was perfect to relax after a long day of walking around) rooms are maintained very well) when I was on my check out, the receptionist guy literary ran to get me a taxi, definitely didn’t have to do that)) but it’s all about to go one extra mile to make the guests happy) thank u so much!!!

We stayed at OD Barcelona hotel recently June 1st and 2nd 2018. The hotel is fantastic with new modern room style ,very clean and 5 minutes walk to main downtown street Passeig de Gracia. Front desk staff always smiling and very helpful . 5 star service from Thomas (reception) and Xavier (waiter). Would definitely come back with no hesitation. Thank you to all the staff and looking forward to see you all again.

We arrived early having arrived off an overnight flight. We were made welcome and able to leave our bags. The staff were very friendly and helpful and we would recommend this Hotel as a good place to stay at reasonable cost. The location is great and our room was very quiet despite being there during a large demonstration and also Spain winning the football we had no noise in our room. Lots of choice of places to eat just around the corner in La Rambla including the nearby food market which is well worth a visit and we ate at La Xerinola on La Ramblas opposite the market where the food was good value and the staff friendly. There is so much to see in Barcelona - a great city. The airport bus drops you in the square at the top of La Rambla which is only a few minutes walk from the hotel. This Square is where all the tourist buses on the City tour start and a real hub.

We had 8 nights in Barcelona and initially wanted to stay at different districts. Due to the hassle of moving luggages, we decided to just book one hotel and i guess by sheer luck, we booked Olivia Plaza. The airport transfer which cost 5.90 euros one way stopped 2 mins from this hotel at the plaza Catalunya. So that was amazing. Upon check in, it must be another stroke of luck that we met marko/marco who gave us a map and brief us on everything good in the area. This hotel is at the intersection of 2 main shopping streets. La Rambla to the left, Passeig de Gracia slightly to the right. Everything you wanted to buy in Barcelona, i suppose you could find it within walking distance. It is also a short 2 mins walk to the train station. So getting around is really convenient. Now for some cons. If you don't like people, then this hotel being in a busy district is not for you. As mentioned by some other travellers, things do break down in the room. The 1st room we stayed in had a crack in the glass. Cold air was coming in. We were upgraded to other room the next day. The next room had a creaky toilet door. We spoke to the reception and they repaired it while we were out. And they offered us another upgrade to a plaza facing room! This time we declined because we were already comfortably settled in the room. So while things do break down, service recovery was prompt and sincere. Barcelona is a walking town and from this hotel, i believe you can get to many of the attractions that Barcelona has to offer. Good hotel to explore the city from. Without a doubt, i will stay here again.

it has been the second time that i stayed at regina hotel in barcelona and the stay was exactly what i expected. a charming hotel right in the center of this pulsating city of barcelona. 2 minutes walk to plaza catalunya, las ramblas and the starting point of many excursions. the rooms are small but ok. what counts here is definitely location. book early as room rates go up when the city fills up and your traveling dates are getting closer. would definitely go back.

Our stay at Hotel Mercer was most memorable, our first visit to Barcelona, this fabulous hotel made it extra special and we loved every minute. The staff at the Mercer are exceptional, nothing was too much trouble for them; they helped us with theatre tickets, museum bookings, taxis and anything else we needed with their impeccable English. The hotel's location is as perfect as it could be, in the beautiful narrow lanes of the Gothic quarter you are never far from a delightful café or restaurant and all the main attractions are within walking distance. The area is very quiet at night and away from the crowds which throng other areas of the city. The building is on the site of a former palace and has been carefully renovated and turned into a hotel of the highest standard without losing any of its historic charm, and retaining many of the original features. The bedroom was roomy, the bathroom very well-equipped and the bed was the most comfortable I have ever slept in. Housekeeping staff were discreet and conscientious. We shall definitely return, and would most strongly recommend it as the best place to stay in Barcelona.

Most European 3 star hotels have small rooms but Leonardo Hotel Barcelona Gran Via is one of its kind - spacious and at the heart of Barcelona. Firstly the breakfast is abundant and costs only 10 euros so its worth it. Second the hotel tends to be packed so expect early check in or late check out to be denied. Third there are 2 in Barcelona only Ramblas has the swimming pool. Fourth toilettries and water are supplied daily and at the lobby you can get free water and apples. No kettle at the room for hot water but there is espresso machine. For non EU guests they dont provide power adapters but there are USB adapters. Cable has mix of local and cable channels. Would like to recommend Rona from the breakfast team who is very friendly and accomodating during our breakfasts. Plenty of cafes, bars and supermarts around the hotel. There is a good walking and sitting area near the hotel. All in all we enjoyed our stay at Leonardo and would come back but maybe in Ramblas next time to try.

We loved this apartment. Yes its true that there is no housekeeping and no change of towels daily because this is not a hotel. This is a very convenient accomodation in Barcelona for our family, it has a kitchen, a laundry, iron, balcony where you can dry your clothes, internet. The elevator is very small but its okay, it does its job. Yes you have to take out your trash and that wasnt a problem for us. There's no restaurant in this apartment but there are restaurants outside, around the area. I would love to go back to Charmsuites. We love Barcelona.

'Senior' citizens, on a four-day Overview of Barcelona's many sights! It was v.important four us 2b centrally-located (so we couldn't get lost...) and we used taxis to get about. Pulitzer was perfectly located, tho rather expensive. I was first alerted to the Pulitzer in a DailyTelegraph feature on 'best Barcelona hotels', May 2017.

The room is of a normal size considering its location. But one can tell the hotel tried its best to make it as comfortable as possible. Personally speaking i think they achieved that. Someone used to complain about the glass wall between the shower and the bedroom, but there is a blind. Others complain about toilet separate from the shower, which is the most common setting in this part of Europe. The staff are just great. All the tips they gave us were extremely useful, saving a lot of time and made our visits in Barcelona smooth and enjoyable. Gracias! We didn't take breakfast in the hotel, so really can't tell about that.

I lost my laptop computer, which is of invaluable significance to me, at Munich Airport, while taking a flight to Barcelona. Mr. Christian Gruner of Eurohotel Barcelona Granvia Fira, who speaks Spanish, German, and English fluently, took the exordibary patience and passion to help me locate the computer and arrange for its express delivery to the hotel on 25 September, the day before my departure. It is 24 September today and I am eagerly waiting for the computer to arrive. My gratitude for Chris (Mr. Gruner) and the entire staff is beyond word.

Room was spacious and comfortable with an equally impressive bathroom. Staff were extremely helpful and, having the metro station so close by enabled very easy access to the centre of Barcelona. I specifically booked this hotel because I needed parking, but was extremely disappointed with the availability of hotel parking; there was room for approximately 25cars and it was tiny. Needless to say, there was no availability when we arrived and parking on the street was at a premium.

This hotel in Barcelona, near the airport, is exceptional. The property is impeccably kept and maintained. The staff is so hospitialbe and helpful and polite. The property offers free shuttle service from BCN and runs every 30 minutes 24hrs a day. I want to give special kudos to Alfonzo and Alzier. These two employees were extremely helpful in planning daily activities in the city; instructions on public transportation and recommendations that were spot on. They both went above any possible expectation for helpfulness, sincereity, accommodating and instructive. They both speak excellent English and were very patient with an American in their country. I only wish that other properties I have stayed would have such outstanding, knowledgeable and helpful employees. I give the Barcelona Airpot Hotel a 100% endorsement and recommendation in every area of service and accommodations. Bravo!

This hotel is the BEST at communicating with their guests even before they arrive! The staff has a heart and are very thoughtful. I didn’t even stay there and I was so impressed. THAT is what you call service. I will tell everyone. 2 days before I checked in to the hotel I r’cd a call that my mum had passed. I emailed the hotel who advised that b/c I booked with Agoda I had to cancel thru them. The hotel constantly wrote me emails of comfort and even reached to Agoda on my behalf to assist me with a refund. Agoda you were not nice. It was an extenuating circumstance despite the type of booking. I can produce the death certificate and was hoping for a full refund. The Olivia Balmes hotel will get my booking directly when next I visit Spain. Sadly, Agoda you and your team will not get any good reviews from me. Your service to me was not considerate during my time of unexpected grief. The hotel Olivia gets 5 stars and more. Regrettably Agoda gets no stars.

This classic Barcelona hotel was a treat to stay in. The pictures say it all. Great accommodations, modern up market styling with good linen, comfortable beds and great shower, twin vanities. Make sure you give yourself a treat and enjoy the ambiance and food in the breakfast room and at least try the bar once. There is also fine dining in the Michelin dining room. Loved our 3 nights, Fully recommend this one.

Great location as a base to explore Barcelona from. Situated in a street corner of the Ramblas, making retreats to room after a long day a good wind down, yet still being close to the charms of Barcelona. Location perfect for easy access to Metros, car rentals, airport bus, Carrefour, shopping, sights - all within 5-15mins walk away. As for the hotel itself, a good comfortable stay. Rooms & beds are small as typical European style, but still sufficient space for 2 big luggages. The bathroom is really pleasant; clean brown marble furnishing with separate shower stall, keeping the sink and toilet area dry always. The frosted glass wall separating the bathroom from room itself is really stylish. Few inconveniences: no mini bar (for keeping yoghurt and fruits), small fee for in-room safe use, deposit for tv remote and chargeable WiFi use ($2euro/hr). Tip: For traveling in Metro/bus, use T-10 tickets. This ticket is sharable (for 2 person use - scan ticket twice on metro/bus entry) and cuts the cost by half. Cost $9.80euro for 10 trips vs $2euro for single tickets. Super convenient and economical for traveling around the city.

The place was clean and tidy. The size of the room was actually quite bigger than my expectation. Actually i worried a bit before staying due to the reviews saying it might be a bit noisy as it’s just at the center of Barcelona but the sound from the outside was not much and affordable. Most of all, just 2 hours before checking out time, i had a medical emergency situation and I had to go to emergency center. As soon as we informed our situation to the receptionist, she postponed the checking out time till 2pm, so that we could have enough time to go to the hospital and come back to pack our luggage. Thanks to her, we managed everything so well and was able to check out without any charge. I was so glad to stay at this hotel. When i comeback to Barcelona later, i would love to stay in this hotel again and again. Highly recommendable.

Loved having this place as my base in Barcelona. Very easy to get anywhere, right outside Liceu station and a short walk to Plaza Cataluña which is where you catch the airport bus, several tour buses, etc. Gothic quarter is a few minutes away. Room at this hotel is basic, but you've got a hot shower, good AC and everything super neat and clean.. Bed is comfortable.. What more can you ask for? Big thanks to all the staff who make us feel comfortable and welcome in Barcelona!

The location was great and within walking distance to all attractions and public transport. The room for 4 was very new, clean although a bit tight for 4 but it didn’t bother us as we were out most of the time, There’s a lift which means we don’t have to carry our heavy bags up stairs like many other hostel in Spain, I would highly recommend this place,

This is my second stay here and will be my choice of where to stay in Barcelona. The location is reasonably close to the airport. The shuttle service is a bonus which will save you 20 euros in taxi fares each way. Its not in the city centre but for 2.20 euros by bus which is on the doorstop, its a great alternative, you'd be paying that for using the metro. Now about the hotel... the staff are amazing, they couldn't do enough for us. Danny our receptionist should get paid more for what he does. The rooms were very comfortable and the breakfast sensational. It is a little bit of tranquility in a busy city. I have stayed at lots of 5 star hotels around the world but this hotel is right up there as a favourite.

I stayed at Casa Gracia on March 2015 with my parents. I was so excited because it was the first time in Barcelona for me, and also for my parents, it was the first time in Europe. When we got the hostel right from the airport from Korea, we were exhausted, but since we saw the room, it was really nice and we could be relaxed. Room was very nice, the bathroom was big with wonderful bathtub. We were satisfying with the room, location, and kind staff. It took only a couple of minutes from the subway station - very easy to find. Also the best part of staying at Casa Gracia was on my mom's birthday. I asked a nice restaurant for my mom's birthday to a staff, and I found the Hotel has every evening special dinner time with different program.( Such as live music show, Tapas night and so on.)It was Live music night on my mom's birthday, so I made a reservation for dinner. All staff celebrated my mom's birthday, and baked amazing cake for her. Also wonder champagne with lovely live birthday music just for her. My mom was tired at that time because of jet-lag, but still now she sometimes mentions about her special birthday at Casa Gracia and says it was really fantastic. Also personally myself, the welcome post card on the table was soooooo adorable. If I visit Barcelona one more time, I would like to stay at Casa Gracia again. Thank you for all the staff that I could have wonderful memories in Barcelona.

Booking a hotel is always a bit of a gamble, despite all the varied reviews available. We were delighted with Jazz Hotel in Barcelona!. It was very easy to reach using the Aerobus and very close to the old city and La Rambla. Our room was spacious and clean, with a very comfortable and huge bed. We opted for an 'interior room' so had little traffic noise. Breakfast was always a treat, and the cooked options varied daily. We were on 7th floor, which was fine, but we could hear the swimming pool pump during the day if in the room. Thoroughly recommend Jazz, and if we're ever fortunate enough to return to Barcelona, we would use it again.

Our stay at Pol & Grace was amazing. This was one of our best hotel stays in Europe. For a start, the hotel is just less than a minute walk from the train station. Going to town or many major attractions from this hotel is extremely convenient given that there are 2 metro lines at the station. The design of the room was very unique. It isn't like any other hotel. I love the little snippets of messages for us. The room itself was pretty decently sized, which meant it's good value for the price. There is even a small sofa in there for you to sit and relax if you don't want to mess up your bed. WIFI was great as well and the system makes it easy to connect without having to login all the time. I like that they provide free tea and coffee at the lobby, it's a nice touch and the lobby itself is a very cosy and comfortable area. The receptionists were great and polite. They helped us print out some match and plane tickets without much hassle and communicated well with tips of Barcelona attraction. All in all, it's a great hotel and we will be back if we visit Barcelona again.

This hotel is my favorite. I like the design, the staff is very good, the bed is the best i know so far. We book this hotel every year, because we like barcelona and especialy we love this hotel so much. The location, the rooms, the staff, the food, the room service, the breakfast, the coffee, everything we love in this hotel. The Hotel is not cheap, but compared to other famous cities it is very cheap, and it´s an 5 Star hotel. the Breakfast could be cheaper, but we love it, and the selction is great and premium quality (you get also excellent ham or hearty dishes, etc.) The best of this hotel is the excellent bed. We think about to buy such a bed because it´s so fantastic. You will also love the excellent amenities in the bathroom, SPLISS-SPA products from Canada.

If you are looking for an excellent hotel in Barcelona without paying mega prices the this Hotel is ideal. It is very near to excellent food outlets, opposite a bus route and with easy walking to shops and the Avenue Diagonal..

We are a family with 3 young children and spent 6 days in Barcelona. We took a 3 bedroom apartment at Castro building The facilities were excellent, apartment modern and Clean. Location is great, with metro 5 mins walk, lots of shops and restaurants and a sports club nearby where we took the kids to watch and play football and basketball.

5minute walk to cruise line shuttle. 5 minutes to rambla 5 minutes to plaza rheal Quiet Good staff I will use as my hotel in barcelona again. Con Ask if your cost inclides breakfast if not then many options just steps away You will not be disappointed
