"Centrally located, very clean and tidy. Bed was comfy albeit small. Had no noise issues as I was put in a room with no windows. Better to check additional options when you book the room."

"Very practical accommodation. The room was small but served its purpose. The shaver socket didn’t work but reception gave us an adapter plug so we could use a normal socket. Parking is £7 for a 24hr period. You can come and go in that time but you are not guaranteed a space on your return. We were there at the weekend so found parking on the street for free. Breakfast was excellent - a range of options buffet style so you could eat as much as you wanted. Staff very friendly and helpful. Would stay here again. "

"This is by far one of the best hotels in Birmingham . We visit twice a year and always have a great stay . Front of house staff are wonderful , as are the housekeeping. The Week time breakfast is slightly better than the weekend and i mean only marginally. Best of you prepay when you check in for there's a 3pound difference in price as to if you just strolled down . Coffee is very good and I can't say enough about the selections . "

Radisson Blu Hotel Birmingham

"I was with my family ( all girls and a young child ) checking out from hotel heading to London. We have a few big luggages and shopping begs to carry and we were on our way to the nearest train station. The front desk staff saw us in this situation and in his first intention he showed us short cut by leading us to the back door. This little action has saved us a lot of time and energy. As such, we managed to get to the train on time once we reached train station. Or else, we will need to wait for the next train probably in 20 minutes to half an hour. By the time we reached London, it was before 11pm. I'm sure if this staff didn't show us the short cut, we will be late for the train, late to reach london, late to check in hotel in London. Thanks to the friendly and kind staff of Radisson Blu Birmingham Hotel! "

More about Birmingham

Birmingham is Britain’s second largest city. Historically known as the “City of a 1000 Trades” and the “Workshop of the World” as it was in the heart of the Industrial Revolution, the city has today become a great shopping and cultural destination as it rebuilt and modernized following World War 2. Boats, cars, and rail can all be used to reach the city, but Birmingham Airport provides the most direct route.

Getting around Birmingham is easy thanks to its public transportation system, and the extensive canal network that facilitated the industry sector services water buses and taxis. By no means the most efficient mode of transportation, tours are offered and make for a unique and relaxed experience. The diversity of Birmingham ensures everyone has something to enjoy. The culturally inclined will enjoy visits to museums and art galleries like Cadbury World and the Barber Institute of Fine Arts. Shopping opportunities are abundant and include the Bull Ring Markets and New Street Farmers’ Market. The Drayton Manor is a theme park that has 35 rides and 15 acres of zoo. Spas, theaters, and leisure centers all provide entertainment and relaxation for those traveling here.

Birmingham accommodation caters to a range of travelers. There is a large selection within the city center alone and more options available in surrounding areas.
