Great hotel, great service, great breakfast. Bare in mind, location is 25 minutes by car from city. There is only one local bus line (line 93) to city centre, and it only transits few times a day! Awfull! Once, it did not show up at all. We ended up using taxi every time, making our trip a lot expensive. Only use this hotel if you have your own means of transportation.

Stayed for two nights at this hotel in Bologna. It is located directly across from Bologna Centrale Train Station so if you are coming by train to Bologna from different parts of Italy it is an ideal location. It is also within 15 or so minutes walking of many of the sites within the old city. Besides location, the hotel staff was also a plus. We had a few questions and found the staff very friendly and helpful. The rooms and hotel in general are clean and well-kept with a slightly modern feel, particularly compared to many hotels I've stayed in Italy. Would stay here without hesitation if travels take me to Bologna again.

This hotel was excellent in every way. Staff was helpful and very friendly. We enjoyed our stay there and its excellent location. We will definitely stay at this hotel when we return to Bologna. 5 star all the way around....lovely accommodations!

the una bologna hotel really earns its four-star rating. it is a modern hotel with with great design that conveys style and personality. while all the furniture seems brand new, perhaps the carpeting in our room requires renovation. standard rooms are very comfortable. the bathrooms are spacious and feature a nice bathtub and amenities. lighting is great. the room comes with tv that offers prgramming from multiple countries. smoking rooms are available on request. one of the best features of the hotel is its location just across the street from bologna central train station and a couple blocks away from bologna bus depot. after very good breakfasts in other italian hotels, we were a little bit disappointed by the offer here. staff were always professional and fluent in english. in general, we were very pleased with our choice!

Great staff very friendly and helpful, at the reception and the restaurant. Beds are confortable and room is very clean. We had a triple room with kingsize bed and sofabed. Even the sofa bed was really good. But a little bit small but you can take that for granted. The price is very cheap compared to the rest of the hotels. The pool is very big and great. The breakfast is also good enough and they do their best to get you anything you ask for. Thanks!

This is a nice hotel with clean, modern rooms. It's a little out of the center of town but close to the highway and airport. For my purpose (business) ideal. Staff were very friendly and the breakfast was pretty good with a nice selection. Price wasn't too bad either. Parking readily available right outside or if you prefer they have underground parking as well (that costs thought). A nice feature all hotels should have: free WiFi!! Definitely can recommend for anyone who isn't desperate to stay in the centre of town.

The hotel is opposite Bologna main train station and main bus station. You can go to Airport by Shuttle bus at 6 Euro. You can go to other cities in Italy by train without wake up very early to catch the train. Also, the hotel is near city area of Bologna, so you can do shopping and sight seeing by walk or you can take many buses from main train station. Staff is not very friendly, but acceptable. I did not have the food in hotel because there are some local restaurants near hotel. The room is good. The heater and hot water work well. It is good value for money, especially, if you do not spend much time staying in hotel.

This hotel ticks all the boxes, everything is outstanding. I would suggest if driving by car book the private garage. The hotel sends very good instructions on how to get there. It is very close to the hotel. There is a restricted driving zone in Bologna.

Very nice, clean hotel near the center. The staff is extremely helpful, we even got Processo upon arrival as welcome drink. The breakfast is also high quaity. I'd reccomend it to anyone staing in Bologna.

Perfect location especially for those who visit Bologna Fiere and.. that's all.. No more pros...... bad service, bad quality..

The hotel is well placed for the station and getting into the Main Square, both only three minutes and fifteen minutes walk respectively. The rooms were very clean, the staff were very friendly and the buffet breakfast choice was of a high standard. I will definitely book to stay at the NH Bologna De La Gare again!

We were stay at the Royal calton Hotel in Bologna was nice. We had large and comfortable room. And the hotel had a very good parking and the Wifi. The breakfast are not so good as we expect. The hotel should have variety of breakfast buffet. The location from the hotel is very near to the old city so you just can go by walk .

It it located out oity, in the village called Villanova. Public transport was very difficult to use. Even town information centre gave us wrong information, we took a bus and didn't get near. Finally we took a taxi to get there. Bus from Villanova to Bologna came once in the hour on Sundays and bus-stop was not near. Hotel was really nice, large clean rooms and there were a mall behind the hotel. With own bus or own car: I highly recommend this hotel. We stayed at the hotel from 3 until 9 April 2016 specifically to attend Bologna International Children's Book Fair that happened from 4 until 7 April 2016 at Bologna Fiere. Overall, we are satisfied with the hotel. The price was extremely reasonable, room was clean and fully equipped, staff was very accommodating and helpful. The only thing that is lacking is the location of the hotel which situated far from the fair place, and also from the city centre. Bus station is available just in front of the hotel, but in order to reach the fair place, we need to take 2 buses and it took us slightly more than an hour to reach the Fiere. By taxi is just around 10-15 minutes, but the fare is expensive which is around 25 euro for a way trip. But, the location is OK if you don't have to go to the Fiere as there is a direct bus to go to the city centre (Piazza Minghetti station, in specific). The hotel will be perfect for those who are driving. Breakfast was OK but would be good if the hotel can provide more varieties of menu.

The hotel is perfect for a stopover in Bologna, since its located not so near in the city centre of bologna, but to the highway. Room is big and clean. Breakfast was very good for italian standard and parking is also free.

This hotel was at a great location in Bologna. The hotel rooms were very big and spacious (double rooms) with clean bathroom, beds and new TV equipment. The room itself was a real bargain for that price. The rate included breakfast and the breakfast had ALL you could wish for, lots of fresh fruits, different types of ham/cheese, breads and pastries, different beverages etc etc. The service at the hotel was excellent, the reception was very friendly and service minded and so was the breakfast staff. I can definitely recommend this hotel for relaxing in combination with shopping or business trips. Very good value for money. Praiseworthy.

I really enjoyed my stay here especially as this hotel has the best view from its rooftop. Every staff is very helpful and speaks english very well (I found local people in Bologna don't really speak english). I would like to stay here again when I visit Bologna definitely.

Both Receptionist good n spoke good English n very helpful. Room clean and bed comfortable .Parking space limited. Need to park along street n move early morning. Bus stop to town centre just outside hotel 15-20min. Walking distance to town 30-40mim.

Because the hotel is half an hour's drive outside Bologna, it is not an ideal location for visiting the city. In addition there is quite a noisy road nearby. The breakfast was excellent and the service there very friendly. Also our room was very comfortable and the triple glazing ensured we did not hear the noise from the road. A small point: we had to make a deposit for the kettle in our room, which I think should not be an issue at a four-star hotel, although apparently guests had walked off with kettles before.

The hotel is really nice, clean, staff is friendly, free parking (outside), fast check-in and fast check-out, the rooms are big and spacious/clean and have a big bathroom.

I highly recommend that anyone who is looking to stay in Bologna, then come & stay in this hotel. The staff are so professional & lovely that you feel like your at home with people pampering you. The shower in our room was like an upright spa, with jets of water massaging your body! The outstanding quality of this hotel is by far the Breakfast Buffet. It is totally a mind blowing experience & I recommend that you make sure that you book the breakfast package cause you won't be disappointed.

We have just returned from a short city break in Bologna and are really pleased that we chose to stay at Hotel Touring. The hotel is not too big and has a nice family-run feel to it. The staff were always very welcoming and willing to make restaurant reservations for us. The hotel itself was very clean and our rooms were modern and clean too. We stayed on the second floor in the city themed rooms, Tokyo and London. Breakfast was served in the basement and the food was plentiful and well presented. Piazza Maggiore was a short walk from the hotel and there were restaurants and shops within a stones throw of the hotel too. I would stay here again!

We stayed at this lovely hotel for 3 nights. Our room was a good size with pleasant furnishings and a nice bathroom, also good shower ammenities.There was airconditioning which is a must during the hot Italian summer. The breakfast was absolutely fantastic! It had a realy good range of baked goods as well as cereals, fruit, meats and cheese. The staff spoke English and were very helpful. The hotel is within walking distance of the town and close to a bus stop which loops around the town and also takes you to the main train station for just one euro. I would defiately recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in Bologna.

We loved Bologna, a charming city, a real hidden treasure without the crowds. The deluxe room was tiny, so small we didn’t even unpack for our two night stay. WiFi didn’t work so finally after we continued to complain throughout the first day they brought a router to the room. It fixed the problem but I’m guessing they don’t have enough routers for every room. Although this is a new hotel opened in 2917 it is very old fashioned and not in a good way. The rooms look tired and worn, especially the bathrooms. Badly designed throughout from electrical to the use of space etc. The only thing to recommend this hotel is the position but there are plenty of other hotels in just as good locations. This wasn’t our first choice of hotel. The others weren’t available for our stay..

Stayed in this hotel for a night, the room was good, very clean, and the price was excelent. The catch? It's not near the center, so, having a car is recommended. If you do, you can't go wrong with this hotel.

Thoroughly re joyed my stay here. Rooms were nice, staff were excellent and the hotel environment is top notch. Parking is free, and walking into the city of Bologna takes roughly 45 minutes, or you could hop on bus number 20 just outside the hotel, which runs very frequently. If you're driving in Italy and visiting Bologna, look no further.

Our stay at Albergo Rossini was excellent. Everything was very clean and well presented. Excellent value for money. It was a bit of a walk from the central station, but still only 10min casual walk from the centre. (We enjoy walking). Being near the university opened up a whole new historic area for us to explore and discover beyond the centre. The university area had a different vibe and although a bit noisy in the evenings, this was not a problem, as the room was quite sound proof from the street. Our room was fantastic. We were told on arrival that we had 'the besta room'. It was spacious and included a spa! Breakfast was included in our stay and was great with many options. We would recommend Albergo Rossini.
