Really nice place especially during Bastiile day and fire works. Some rough and dodgy people around though.

More about Bordeaux
This historic city has many tourist attractions found within the town center. This is mostly a pedestrian area, meaning getting from site to site is made rather convenient and quite pleasant. From the Triangle-d’Or to the Musée d'Aquitaine, history can be explored to the heart’s content. The city has been noted for being an inhabited historic city and is comprised of more than 1,810 hectares of UNESCO World Heritage sites. Listed as a contemporary World Heritage site is the “Miroir d’Eau,” the Water Mirror. Less than 10 years old, this most-photographed site of Bordeaux sits between the Garonne and beautiful 18th century facades. For the explorer, a day can be spent walking along Sainte-Catherine Street or capturing the city view from the tower of Saint Michel. The most authentic outing to be had in Bordeaux would be a visit to a chateau where some of the world’s most prestigious wines are produced. For more exploration, check out the districts Gambetta Square, Quinconces Square, and Les Quais.
