"we stayed in this hotel on the last day of our stay in bucharest because our flight on the following day was early. we enjoyed swimming pool and the gym after. they had two restaurants ; one for international food and the other for romanian food where we had a lovely meal. we appreciated the free transport to the airport. it would've been much more appreciated if the hotel also had provided a transport from the airport even for an additional fee to the hotel to avoid hassles by the taxi drivers at the airport. "The wonderful staff at Mercure BCC went the extra mile to make us feel welcome. The ladies at reception and in particular Alexandra and Mirela answered our many questions always with a smile, readily helping us to arrange tours and taxis with no drama at all. They were great with kids too — many thanks for my daughter's soft toys! The location of the hotel is perfect - plenty of good eateries around and a stone's throw away from Piata Romana. The room was tidy and new. Would definitely recommend travellers to stay."
