Busan is a nice city. A very modern with up to date transport system. Easy to go anywhere you want. The uncle and aunty are so kind to show us the way where we wanna go.
I spent 3 days and 2 nights in Busan with 4 other friends this time round. It's very comfortable just walking around and travelling on public transport is easy as the locals are more than willing to extend a helping hand when we looked lost.
Very convenient to travel alone with good Metro and bus system. Nice beaches and weather, good traditional Korean food.

Cannot travel far on foot. Study the traveller's guide before getting on the plane. Taxi is the best transport if you have more than two persons.
Go to Busan by train from Seoul, there is tourist information center in train station, very helpfull with staff who speak English.
Other than eating & shopping, suggest you guys visit those artistic village and also beautiful mountains near around.
