Hotel Felix

"From the amazing location to the friendliness of the staff, this hotel was great for visiting Chicago and wanting to be near all the touristy spots. Of course there are lots of other hotels in Chicago depending on what you are planning on doing/seeing, but Hotel Felix was nearby most of the attractions we were in town to see and it was easy to get to and from. Sonesta Chicago O'Hare Airport Rosemont
O'Hare International Airport,Chicago (IL) - View on map
"I had to overnight at O'Hare and looked at the available hotels and choose this one after researching about 10 different hotels. Factors were distance to the airport and price. The cost of this hotel was about $110 but i really had no choice unless I wanted to sleep in the airport for 12 hours. There were some cheaper hotels farther away but I was more interested in comfort and security than price. I booked the hotel though Agoda but the price was constant in almost all the booking www sites. I used Agoda as I have an account with them and get points for future discounts. To start they have a 24 hour shuttle that picks guests up at the airport but you have to call to get them to come. I came in terminal 5 and there are hotel phones right near the McDonald's. The phone was answered promptly by Kevin who told me that the driver was there then but leaving so I might have to wait a bit. The driver must have come back for me as I only waited about 5 minutes. His name was Pedro and he was very helpful. The shuttle also leaves from the hotel every half hour on the hour or half. The bus trip to the terminal is about 10 minutes and the drivers are very helpful. The hotel is what can be expected. Not a 5 star but I didn't want a 5 star. Check in staff is very helpful and efficient. Took me about 3 minutes to get checked in. The room was a decent and a a nice size. Came with a fridge, microwave, coffee machine, alarm clock, and a flat screen tv with an easy to use remote and menu. Basic amenities such as soap and shampoo and hand lotion. No toothbrush or razor but luckily I carry my own. Room was clean and water was hot and ample towels. I didn't use any of the hotel's attractions like pool or health club so I can't comment on them but they are there. There is a Harry Karrys restaurant in the lobby with a great menu HOWEVER the prices were outrageous - $16 for a burger and $1,000,000 for a steak. "

When people mention famous American cities, Chicago is often on the list. There is a reason that this American metropolis has stood the test of time and remained a world-class destination, and a lot of its popularity has to do with the heart and personality of this city.

Chicago O’Hare International Airport is the bigger international airport, located less than 20 miles from the city center and serving flights from pretty much every corner of the world.

From the first moment of arriving in Chicago, visitors will be spoiled for things to do and sights to see. Just a stroll along the famous Magnificent Mile, with its many shops and restaurants along one of the most famous retail and entertainment districts in the world. With Lake Michigan fronting the city’s skyline and Michigan Avenue hugging its shore, Chicago has no shortage of picturesque views. This city is often referred to as the birthplace of the skyscraper, and the view from Millennium Park is the perfect way to fully appreciate the beauty of the tall buildings that call Chicago home. The world's first steel-and-concrete skyscraper rose over the Chicago skyline in the 19th century, and many visitors consider a trip to the top of the Sears Tower a must-do while visiting this city.

Chicago is a bastion of blues and jazz, and some of the best clubs are here in the North Side. Diehard fans of blues will want to time their visit with the annual Chicago Blues Festival, held in June of every year. Home of the Wrigley Field, Frank Lloyd Wright Home, and many of the best blues clubs in the world, Chicago is a feast for the senses.
