Corfu Island hotels & places to stay

Glad to find we were put in a bungalow. Fantastic infinity pool/ view. Went down for lunch. YUK. Sort of hamburger hell. You have to eat in view of bare topped hairy tatood ogres. Grateing music. Sweet Greek staff. Hotel main building crumbly 70's totaly lackluster. Hortible brown dark interior. Glad we chose 5 star. 3 star might have no furniture.

Good location but first day breakfast don't know what it was only thing you could say it was a breakfast was it had eggs hot water now and again rooms cleaned they went in the room beds not touched if they did they want to sack there laundry department the sheets still look like they were slept in

Nice location near beach area. The owner was a great gentleman and accommodated our needs. Large units with kitchen and all dishes you need.

My stay was very short, only to be close to the port for the ferry . However if I was to stay in corfu longer I certainly would not hesitate to stay here again. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Rooms clean, although no mini bar or much in the way of little extras in the bathroom. A shirt walk to corfu town which was something else to see. Definitely stay here again.

I stayed in apartment “3” and it was absolutely amazing! I would rent a car/ bike to get around as it is slightly off the beaten path, but extremely central otherwise. Clean, organised, amazing welcome by Mary {the owner}, overall an extremely pleasant stay. Will definitely come back next time I stay in Corfu! Great value for money too. Supermarket close by and about a 8-10 minute drive into Corfu Town.

The Pink Palace worked really well for our family of 4 (kids 3 & 6yrs). Our room was simple - on the small side - but away from the noise and with a lovely view of the sea. The facilities were great - cheap and fantastic breakfasts and dinners. The property has the advantage of giving beach access and also hillside views. Its probably not the place to stay if you are a stickler for quiet and calm but we loved it.

stayed here for just one night, and really glad it was so close to the airport as there was a taxi strike at the time. its just a few minutes walk from the beach, the staff are as great as always in greece

Pension style hotel in Boukari beach. The owner was very helpful in organizing tours and taxi pick ups which was good. The location was a little off the beaten track. The buffet breakfast was good but there were lots of wasps for the time of year. All in all we had an enjoyable stay and were meant to feel at home.

Really good location for a lovely pleace called Gouvia , easy walk there like 5 min just cross the street. The hotel to find just before hotel Mathraki not many signs but if you turn left bedore Mathraki you will find it . Check-in the hotel will collect 2€ for tourism tax . We had a suite room 72 was a great and super nice room nice garden view with 2 bathroom. Really modern and new everything. Housekeepers doing the room between 10am-12pm. Nice pool as well enjoyable , however the hotel is busy so expect ypu not gonna be the only one there , but still enjoyable. I would definitely go back again really liked it.

We stayed here for 11 nights in June/July and would wholeheartedly recommend it. The family live there and really bent over backwards to make sure we were comfortable and had a good holiday. They helped us out with local knowledge and lent us things to make our holiday more enjoyable. The apartment was adequate with a small kitchen with basic cooking facilities. There is a pretty garden but no pool. Very close to a small beach and village - away from the resorts but on a bus route. It would be difficult to stay here without transport but not impossible. The family helped us hire a moped and we were able to do everything with this. Because the family were so welcoming but yet left you to it, they get 5* from us. We will definitely go back.

Stayed in this hotel for a few nights in May 2011. The staff were very helpful on arrival giving us the choice of several rooms & continued to be a great help throughout our stay. The hotel itself was very modern, with excellent facilities in a very nice setting with a great view. Location was ok, close to the port & some restaurants on the water. In terms of location to the city & beaches the location is a bit out of the way & transport would be recommended. I hired a scooter & found this hotel a good locations to travel from. Overall i found this to be a very nice hotel in Corfu.

We stayed just one night prior to our flight home. Hotel was absolutely lovely. Beautifully refurbished room with great shower room and huge upstairs terrace. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Good quality buffet breakfast with ample choice. Lovely pool area with very comfortable sun beds and umbrellas. We would not hesitate to return to this hotel. It is an ideal 1 or 2 night stopover close to both the airport and the port if you are island hopping or planning to tour the island as it also does car hire. Also great for anyone wanting a quite week by the pool as there aren’t any bars or restaurants in the immediate vicinity.

No one there when we arrived. We booked late and there is not reception, but they were very helpful on the phone and someone got there in about 30mins. Nice room, clean with balcony. Nice swimming pool however to cool for us to use. Note a great beach

Just returned from a last minute 7 day holiday in Villa Tasos with my teenage daughter. I chose the villa based on Agoda reviews and price, as it was fantastic value, being on a special offer that day. It is unlike other hotels I have been to, as it feels very much like you are staying in someone's home, as the owners live on site and are very welcoming. As they operate a self check in, you will find your name on the door and a poster by the pool with your name directing you to your room. The room I booked was their most basic as we were on a tight budget. It was clean and functional and had a balcony and kitchen to prepare snacks. Linen and towels were changed every couple of days and the room cleaned. The hotel is just off the main street but surrounded by private villas, so is quiet and is a very short walk down to a lovely beach. Acheravi is a nice respectable Greek town, with some lovely restaurants and tavernas. This was a very relaxing no fuss holiday which is the best kind!

hard to find fault with this place,rooms spotless,location exellent,view fantastic,owner and staff very friendly service was faultless,breakfast was fresh good quality and plentifull,had one evening meal which was the best we had for our whole hoilday.would definitely return.

Very friendly staff, clean, easy to reach any part of the island by bus -the two main bus routes crosses nearby , so its easy to travel either direction.

Kostas is an awesome guy. So helpful and friendly. We really enjoyed our stay. The view out o the appartment is amazing. It's a bit of a walk to get to the beaches. The supermarket is really useful. We really recommend people staying there.

I stayed in a one-person tent for 8 nights. The ladies were both super lovely and helpful, the reception is open 'til late. There's a shop just across the road. You can put all your valuables in their safe, so there's no need to worry about them getting lost. There's a kettle, a fridge and a freezer provided, and a sufficient number of toilets and showers, The location is great, right in front of the bus stop if you wish to explore further and in walking distannce to the beautiful beaches of Paleokastritsa. I would recommend it to anyone and would be happy to stay there again. Thanks for all your help and making my hoiday so comfortable. :)

I can’t speak highly enough of the Paradise Village, Yvonne (awesome lady who runs the place) and all of her staff are exceptional, so friendly and accommodating. The villas are immaculately clean and tidy offering everything you need. The local restaurants are great value and all make you feel so welcome. We will return again and again!

A great experience for our first night in Corfu. Apartment is clean, modern, spacious with kitchen area and bathroom. It's location is perfect in the centre of the old town so you can walk everywhere. Host is most gracious and even recommended a restaurant which was great.

We were only at the hotel a few hours before joining a cruise but it was more than adequate after a long redeye that lost out bags. Cold air con, clean sheets and an amazing view right on the edge of the old town and a short walk to the pier. Good value for money

Kitchen, bathroom and double bad very close to bay with port view everything what you need during your trip.

Due to delayed flight we 5 males arrived late, but the management of the hotel were not concerned and greeted us in a relazed and friendly way. Breakfast was good and we were able to wander to the marina in the morning. If I was in the area with my wife I would ceratainly be happy to be based at this hotel

There was everything within the greek standards, exceptional was the cleaning, the room was mantained every day and really precisely cleaned. Owner was fast and helpful in solutions for broken toilet.

Hotel is situated on a slight hill but has amazing views of the area...well worth the 5-10 min up hill walk from the main shops and beach.

When booking this room it says "price per room, including taxes" but there is a fee on 3 euro per night that you will need to pay at the hotel. -very loud, and noisy students living in the hotel. -the breakfast was not as good as one could expect from a 4 star hotel. Mostly eggs.. Different kind of eggs (scramble, fried), bread, ham and cheese. No vegetables, fresh juice, beans etc etc. -bathroom floor was with ants, but didn't disturb us much. -in the room, and in the information sheet provided there are no information about additional costs, and prices. Keep this in mind since even domestic calls can get expensive. +good location, +easy to get to center Overall I would say that this hotel is not worth the money. Will probably stay somewhere else during my next visit.
