They are famous with their Bagasbas beach. It is newly developed into a tourist area. Its sand is fine and nearly white.
It is sometimes used for surfing but there are still no regulations meaning I think there are no lifeguards available. Personal precautions should be used in surfing or swimming. For food, if near the Bagasbas beach, Kusina ni Angel is one of the oldest restaurants around. Their seafood pansit is great :) BUT if you are in the DAET Proper, KSARAP is one of the authentic restaurants in Daet. Before the supermarket and malls, KSarap exists already. This trip wasnt our first time to come to Daet, and we have been coming back to Ksarap to try more of their delicious food. Their SHERBET (either the tiramisu, strawberry, corn and cheese or the buko flavored) is worth the 7-hour trip :)
Daet is a good place for sea activites and nature adventure. A quiet place for seminars, meetings and meditation.
