Best hotels & accommodations in Dubbo

The staff were lovely - Marion and the other ladies were welcoming, helpful and down to earth. Very nice rooms - clean, modern and spacious. Nothing was too much trouble to accommodate my 93 year old grandmother, my parents or my 3 month old baby. Would definitely stay there again when visiting Dubbo

We were travelling from Gold Coast to Adelaide and had a tyre blowout near Dubbo in the early hours of a Sunday. We needed to stay in Dubbo until the tyre was replaced. We got the accommodation at a bargain price through Agoda. Feeling tired and with nowhere to relax until check-in time, we though we would try our luck with an earlier check-in to freshen up and sleep. ...

We stayed for a weekend here in a 2 bedroom serviced apartments. They are fresh clean and modern. Very comfy and large with nice balcony. Only down side is they only have ceiling fans in bedrooms no air conditioning. But the air conditioning in lounge room flow through to bedrooms. The staff are wonderful. I phoned reception on our way to dubbo to inform them we woul...

It was not easy to find suitable accommodation of a high standard in Dubbo and I was pleased from the moment we arrived - it is VERY Central to everything in the town, friendly staff, nice apartment and clean. It was a little noisy - especially when you consider we were in Dubbo - some crazy noises from plumbing pipes and little in the way of noise reducing windows but...

A great value place to stay in Dubbo and convenient to food outlets, and major roads to tourist attractions. Enjoyed our stay; 2 adults & 1 child. Not the most comfortable bed, and laundry facilities broken all stay - but great value for money. Reception has lovely staff.

my stay at the quality inn dubbo, was very good the room was clean and tidy. very comftorble. the staff were very helpful and friendly and the fod was excellent. I will be recommending quality inn dubbo to my friends and family that are going out that way to stay there.

Good value, booked at last minute as passing through Dubbo. Some other motels were around the $200 mark which I don’t want to spend on s 3 star motel in Dubbo when just needing somewhere to sleep on a stopover. Although I wouldn’t stay here if staying more than 1 night it had all bases covered - comfortable bed, great shower with steaming hot water and good parking. Che...

Great place to stay. This was our second stay and first time experience was better as we got full breakfast vouchers which was no longer on offer. We booked the 2 bedroom. Room needs to be better lit as quite glumly as not enough down lights in Kitchen and lounge area other then that it was a really pleasant stay and very convenient location to all amenities and not t...

I would highly recommend Big4 Dubbo. It is the first time I have ever stayed at a Big4 and was very impressed. You could certainly see, and smell, the cleanliness as soon as you walked in. We stayed for 3 nights with a family of 5 and we had 2 bedrooms in our cabin with a queen bed in the main room and 2 double bunks in the other. Each bedroom had a tv with cable a...

I received a text message soon after the room was booked to confirm number of people checking in. On the date of arrive I received text message to confirm the time of checking-in. Staff was very friendly. She showed me the room, all facilities then handed the key over. Easy checking in and out. Foxtel is available for many channels. Highly recommended.

The owners of this medium sized motel set out to make your stay a pleasure from the time you arrive to the time you leave. The owners and their staff are all very friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious and clean, with a comfortable sofa; plenty of tea bags are available, and biscuits too. Everywhere is spotlessly clean, and the bathrooms have been refurbished. The...

This is a great priced hotel in an excellent location. Close to CBD and restaurants. The only negatives I found was there wasn't enough lighting in the room and the light in the bathroom wasn't good to do makeup before heading out. It also would have been nice to have a couple of small plates to use for toast.

I think that some of the persons leaving "negative" reviews were having a bad day. I chose it because it was the cheapest on offer [except Ibis Budget/Formula 1]. Most motels in Dubbo are having a price raising competition. I like to support those having a go. I thought that it was good value for money [comparitvely]. I was pleasantly surprised how tastefully it wa...

The owners welcome you at the reception with a smile, room was available straight away and nothing was too hard. Rooms were clean and tidy. Bathroom was clean and tidy and most importantly no mould. The rooms and beds are very comfortable with all you need whether staying one or more nights. Checkout was straight forward and no hassle. There is also breakfast should yo...

What an wonderful experience! Sylvia and David are wonderful hosts who make you feel right at home from the first hello to the very last minute. Great price for excellent service with a smile. The rooms were clean, comfortable, contemporary and well-stocked. Nothing was too much trouble. Next time I'm in Dubbo this will be my choice of accommodation.

Great place to stay whilst on a business trip. Lots of little extra that add value to your stay. Comfortable beds with electric blankets, heat lamps in the bathroom that help with the cold nights in dubbo. We will be back to stay for our next trip in Dubbo. Thanks for making us feel so welcome.

Offers breakfast with friendly service and if you like a good hardy breakfast or even a light breakfast the restaurant will not disappoint .... highly recommended location to stay when overnighting or staying in Dubbo for a few days.

very helpful staff, although on the main road threough Dubbo, road noise was not a problem. Great for tourists passing through. loaction allows a short enjoyable walk down to the main street with many opportunities to eat at various resaurants on the way. Provided iron and board - not standard in country motel. Very enjoyable stopover.

We only stayed one night as we were passing through Dubbo. We opted to stay in the apartment as there was a special offer. There were two bedrooms which was more than we needed so we had plenty of space. The hotel is centrally situated to Dubbo and everything was within walking distance. The furnishings are a little dated but the apartment was well equipped.

Traveler impressions of Dubbo
nice palce to drive through, the biggest attraction in the area is the open plains zoo but it is very expensive to go there
We didn't have enough time to view all the city has to offer, but loved the parks and especially the goal, it was fantastic.
A quiet city during the week. Main local attraction is the Dubbo Zoo. A must see attraction, don't go during the day if very hot - the animals are all asleep.
Dubbbbbbo, the name speaks for itself. Great town to visit for a weekend away, lot of things to do if you have a few days but would still like to relax.
Beautiful, very clean city, friendly people, lots and a variety of activities available for the young and not so young.
This city inhabitants are local, indigenous as well as migrants. The feel I had that there are a good number of young families, and a growing properious town.
