It is good sized city so it was nice to walked around. Nicely decorated shopping centers and department stores were good to catch and there are many restaurants with variety of choices.
The Van Abbe museum is must visit place where it explains how Eindhoven became one of the design city in The Netherlands. There is also nice big football stadium where fans can visit to watch football matches or even just to look around for the fans.
Small charming city, home of Philips. Good rail connections. We went to Cologne Germany in 2.5 hours despite changing train twice.
Only 1hr and 40 mins from Schiphol.
A pleasant medium size city where the stress level remains low. The contacts I have with the inhabitants where friendly.
The central part of the city is nice to see, as well as the industrial side with the Philips stadium and offices.
For the amateurs, nightlife is quite lively and there are plenty of shops and restaurants to find. The statue and the small garden in front of the train station is also very nice to see in Spring.
