Best hotels & accommodations in Gisborne

This motel is right on the beach, clean, comfortable, good value, but it's the little touches that make this motel worthy of a return visit. The big tubs of petunia flowers at the entrance, the cushions on the outdoor chairs, the little container of biscuits to have with your cuppa, easy use of laundry facilities, a fabulous hot shower etc. A great place to stay.

Friendly receptionist, and cleaning staff, clean and neatly refurbished hotel, very much enjoyed our stay bed is very comfy only downside was No Pool and unusable terrible wifi. Fortunately we had our bikes with us to ride to the beach for A swim and was plenty room to store bikes in room which staff were fine with

Located a short drive from Gisborne just off the main road. Friendly owners, ample parking, huge clean room with separate bedroom and nice private patio area with table & chairs. The restaurant next door had closed down but the local takeaway was a short walk away and was very nice otherwise it would be a drive back into Gisborne. Free Wi-Fi and reasonable laundrette....

We have stayed at many hotels and motels in New Zealand during our visits over the last 25 years, but nothing matches Senator Motor Inn. A good location at the waterfront overlooking the port. Big and spacious units that comfortable sleep four persons. Hosts Karen and Mark were very helpful in all respects A good continental breakfast is offered as an option. For sure,...

A very pleasant motel unit, close to town and absolutely spotless. All the amenities, including a fan which motel units do not often have. Arrived to find my room had been upgraded at no extra cost, a lovely surprise. Charming hosts - the croissant and pastry breakfast was delicious, different, and very reasonably priced. Would not hesitate to recommend the Bella Vista...

The property is really nice spacious and very well furnished. Caroline was a very friendly and helpful host. Location is an easy walk to the town with various food options. This felt more like being a house guest than a hotel stay. Throughly recommended.
