"Best place to stay in Gloucester within two minutes walk from the transport hub. Very clean room and bathroom. Every room has a fridge, microwave, hot water kettle, wine glasses, plates, bowls and cutlery so easy to heat or cook in the room. No breakfast in the hotel but Poppins is just opposite the hotel. Rooms don't have a phone so no way to call reception or housekeeping. Huge TV screen in the room. Tea, coffee, hot chocolate and cookies for free in the room. "

"We had a lovely two nights here with friends. The rooms were large and the beds very comfortable. The hotel staff were friendly and accomodating. The grounds are peaceful, and the bar was well equipped with lovely wine for a relaxing evening. This is a fantastic little place to get away from the busy city and just chill. I would not recommend this hotel or area if you are looking for nightlife or shopping. There was a school prom on one of the nights, but our room was far enough away from the main function room for this not be be an issue. "
