"We paid £49 each for 2 single rooms plus £3 extra for english breakfast. Room decor was dated, but the bedsheets and towels were clean. Evening meal was not great, english breakfast was not bad. Basic price, basic needs met and clean -on that level i would recommend to a friend 👍"

"This hotel was booked as a surprise for my partners birthday. All requests were met and the staff went out of their way to make sure we were happy the whole time. Clean hotel and the food at the restaurant was lovely!! Spa facilities and pool were great and the massages were really good value for money! Would definitely stay here again "

"This was the best placed we stayed on our recent trip to the UK. The hotel was very comfortable, the staff excellent and the atmosphere was great. While not "new" this had a much better feel than some of the brand new places we stayed in. If you are looking for a traditional English hotel (without Basil Fawlty) this is the place to stay."
