Hettie and husband Rean run this gem, in the middle of virtually nowhere. We arrived at sunset, after having to change a shredded tyre just kms from the village close-by. Rean heard of our ordeal and without asking he was on the phone calling suppliers so we could get a new spare tyre the next morning, this on a Sunday evening. Dinner was delicious country fare, roast lamb, venison pie etc and plenty to go round the 30 or so guests. Breakfast equally good. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Staff helpful , charming and friendly. Dankie. Thank you.

My wife and I traveled down from Swakopmund to Noordoewer and stopped at Savanna Guest Farm on the way. We absolutely loved being in the middle of nowhere (we live in the hustle and bustle in Seoul, South Korea). We loved the hospitality we received - we were warmly welcomed, shown the walking trail on the farm and we sat down to a home cooked meal. The milky way is so bright at night from this farm, you feel like you can touch them! It was a unique experience - in a good way.
