My experience with Lotte Hotel Hanoi has been nothing short of perfect ever since I made the decision to book a room. Everyone at the hotel seems to go out of their way to make your special occasion even better. As soon as I got to the hotel I was blown away by the view. It's one thing to imagine it but it's another thing altogether to get, what is perhaps, the best view in Hanoi from what might be the most luxurious hotel in Hanoi. The service is absolutely impeccable from everyone in the hotel but I do need to specially point out Ms. Ngan, Mr. Dat Tan Nguyen and every one of the Reservation Sales Agents I talked to for doing an exceptional job. They go out of their way to ensure you have the best time possible.

Given my first time iN Vietnam, I was worried about the cleanliness of the hotels. So I booked in Sheraton Hanoi for 2 days and then moved around the countries and when decided to fly back to Hanoi I was searching for another 5 star hotel since Sheraton was fully booked on that day and I found few 5 star hotels like Lotte and sofitel but but I found that Hanoi daewoo hotel is a five star hotel with a very good price and close to the biggest mall in Hanoi so decided to give it a try and to be frank it has exceeded my expectation

I'm not a lover of big, impersonal hotels, so it was with some initial trepidation that I booked this hotel for my second visit to this fascinating city. I'm happy to say my fears proved unfounded with all expectations clearly exceeded. The hotel is really centrally located, close to the Old Quarter and really near to the fantastic Hang Gai shopping street...if you're looking for unusual, beautifully crafted souvenirs and handicrafts you can't go far wrong here! Although there's a lot or rooms in the hotel, it never really feels like you're staying in a big hotel, with clever design and personal-feeling touches spread throughout. As a lover of the Contemporary-Vietnamese-Colonial design, this is really inspirational and luxurious. Rooms themselves are well-appointed and cared for. I'm not sure the clear window between the room and bathroom will be to everyone's tastes, but my partner had a lot of fun with the remote while I was trying to shower! We didn't try the breakfast option, but other guests we met during our stay spoke highly of it. Staff are friendly, without being overbearingly so, and always on hand to help with recommendations, book taxi's and generally be as helpful as possible. Whether you're starting or ending your travels in Hanoi, this is one of the best places to stay, relax and enjoy this beautiful city.

The service is exemplary and this is one of the few hotels in Hanoi that I can safely recommend. The staff is geniuinely friendly and helpgul. The breakfast is the best out of the dozen or so hotel I have stayed in Hanoi. The internet is stable and signal is strong. The rooms are comfortable and spacious. A full spread of amenities can be found whether for business or relaxation.

we stayed at hotel nikko hanoi for 3 nights. it was a wonderful stay. front counter staffs were friendly and smily. there was a conceige counter manned by experienced japanese staff who speak fluent english, to give advise on what to do, where to eat and what to avoid (independent cabby)in hanoi. we have a spacious room at the 10th floor, facing a circus and lake from far away. the room was tranquil, in stark comparison to the hassles of hanoi street below. i enjoyed myself sitting by the window observing the people of hanoi commute on their bikes over a cup of coffee. there was a swimming pool but it seemed to be under utilised and no lifeguard/hotel staff around. the pool is located at the back of the hotel. its very quite and obscured, so be careful to let your kids swim in the pool unsupervised. we have tried one restaurant in the hotel. it was a paid breakfast as our booking does not include the breakfast. we paid about but kids under 5yrs old dined for free. it has a good spread of selection. the hotel has its own affiliate taxi fleet, so there will be a taxi always ready to fetch you anyway you wish and you can pay the cabby either vnd or usd or use credit card on these taxis. these cabbies charge a fixed rate if you are heading to the airport .if you plan to visit halong bay, you can take a private tour for a day trip but the journey is tiring. 4 hours on car to reach the nearest city. 4 hours on the cruise and then another 4 hours back. you may consider overnight stay on the junk and come back to hanoi fresher the next day.

There are many hotels listed in Hanoi. If you are on a limited budget or a backpacker, you can choose from hundreds in the old quarter. That's fine if you like no windows or noisy environments. Local knowledge is invaluable and a friend in Hanoi said there was only one area to stay and that is in the embassy areas. Melia offered a great deal on Agoda for a deluxe room. It's in a great area in the city so you can walk to the Opera and museums and there are a wealth of western-style eateries, coffee shops with free wifi etc. So, location is fabulous. Check-in was efficient and fast. My deluxe room was finished well but an old tv and no DVD spoiled it somewhat. At this price point, a plasma and DVD should be considered mandatory. WiFi/internet is supplied for a price. Would a hotel provide a room without a TV nowadays? Of course not, so why this silly idea that internet is not required? Why do many hotels still think it is ok to charge for an essential service? Let me say it loudly so that hotel managements hear this: we want internet in our rooms and elsewhere in the hotel and it should be provided for free at a five star hotel. The Melia is everything a five star establishment should be: courteous, efficient staff, lovely spacious reception area/lobby, fast lifts (elevators to our US friends), lovely pool at a gorgeous temperature (but silly towel policy whereby you can arrive to the pool area and find no towels and have to go back inside to the health club and sign for one (!!!). This is just a silly policy that needs changing. Towels should be available at the pool where you use them. The health club was very impressive with lots of programmes offered for those who go for that sort of thing. Breakfast offered a huge selection (my booking included breakfast for two)

Probably one of the best if not literally the best Hotel in Hanoi. The staff is absolutely excellent, remembering guests' names, preferences and managing to create a real "empathy" while not being too invasive. The room itself in the "Opera" wing was very comfortable but not outstanding for a 5 star hotel (rooms in the historical wing are much fancier), but the facilities (hotel garden, pool, spa, bar, restaurants, ...) had a genuinely unique and chic atmosphere, food both at breakfast and drinks at the bamboo bar at night were affordable (by international hotel standards) and absolutely delicious. Service was top notch and the staff knew exactly how to make each guest feel special and treat each guest in a courteous and consistent but individualized manner at the same time. You can feel that the hotel is extremely tightly and professionally managed so that this old historical building in the heart of Hanoi remains world-leading class, both in terms of facilities and service

We had an excellent experience with Spring Flower Hotel and would highly recommend it to others. Great location, really nice rooms, air conditioning and wifi work great, free breakfast provided. The best thing about this hotel is the service. We used Spring Flower as our base for trips in and out if Hanoi and the front desk was so very helpful. They booked tours, bus and train tickets for us, provided airport pickup ($20), arranged hotel stays for our next destination, and were all around so helpful and friendly. For example, when my sister accidentally forgot her hiking boots on a bus, Spring Flower called the company, tracked down the bus, and immediately sent an employee out on a scooter to pick them up for her. Another time, we arrived at the hotel (after an overnight train) many hours earlier than check in, but they gave us a room to shower and nap in while they quickly got a room ready for us. With all the Hanoi hotels located in the Old Quarter, all of them looking very similar, I feel glad that we chose Spring Flower.

I love every details of this Lapis hotel in Hanoi . As that was My last stop in Vietnam trip before finishing off my holiday in where I didn’t expect too much in Hanoi initially. Very pleasant ending trip . Hardware : rooftop swimming pool , Mosaic of the Jacuzzi , even the small thing like the light switch / electric button / toilet / bath room & toiletries etc........( compared with other hotels i stayed in Vietnam such as SGN DAD ...) Software: All staffs are friendly , smiley & very willing to help , very well communicate skill, special thanks to Nguyen Hong Thai the manager & Mai, Hong the reception all staffs were taking extra care of my needs ...as to compensate my loss of 1st night stay in the Lapis hotel ( By no mean , I had bad experience in others hotel where I were moved in with unexpected situation ... Mmmm I totally felt so unlucky for my 1st time / 1st night in Hanoi - having said that I only liked the balcony in that room for that hotel to be fair x but nothing else I liked there ) sorry , have to be very honest about my feelings . Highlights : I would say the 2nd night in Lapis hotel wiped off the upsetting feelings... but I still would love to stay there longer than 1 night though 😆 seems like ordered full set meal but missing my (main) dessert at the end... I would have given full points (100) for my stay if I could have stayed the total 2 nights in the Lapis hotel as booked initially .”) Now is 95 points. Definitely will come back & stay in this hotel again , please keep it up ;)

It was hard to choose a hotel in Hanoi from Agoda.com, because they all have great reviews and are similar pricing. We ended up choosing Hanoi Elegance - and we were not disappointed. Firstly - Customer service. Just brilliant. After booking on Agoda, i emailed the hotel directly to get recommendations on a Ha Long bay cruise and an airport transfer. I started going back and forth on email with Tuan Tran, and he was great. so helpful, giving us so much information (and prompt responses too). Then when we got to Hanoi - our transfer was there waiting for us. When we got to the hotel, Tuan Tran was here to welcome us. Because Vietnam air changed our flight out of Hanoi, we had to change our Ha Long bay tour. Tuan worked it out for us, and allowed us to change the nights we had booked at the hotel. After we went out for lunch, we got a 100.000Dong bill that had a tiny rip in the corner, and noone was willing to take it. After asking reception, the girl was happy to go to the bank and change it for us. We left it at reception before going to Ha Long Bay, and as soon as we walked back into the door upon our return 3 days later - she was so prompt to give it back to us! That is service! Both rooms that we have had over our stay (before and after Ha Long) have been so nice. Spacious, good TV, iron, ironing board, modern, clean. I can't fault it. They even have laptops connected to internet! super cool. The breakfast is really nice too - great selection. I have stayed in many 5 star hotels, and this hotel is up their with a 5 star hotel - and yet it is only 3.5. Great value for money. I will recommend Elegance Diamond to anyone who comes to Hanoi. Room Tip: Every room seems great!

Staid in the 2 bedroom suite. Rooms are good sized, kitchen had all the dishes, cutlery, silverware available for use....very clean and very comfortable with beautiful view of the city of Hanoi. Good location and plenty of good restaurants just a few black radius of hotel. Underneath hotel is also a small supermarket so its great if you wanted to buy bread and fruits and drinks etc to bring back up to your suite. Just one small thought is that I think the staff can smile a little more or cheer up. I staid in 2 other smaller boutiques hotels in Hanoi prior to Somerset. The smaller hotel staff (and i mean everyone from bell hop to front desk to doorman) were so genuinely happy in their job, full of smiles and friendly!! So once we checked into the Somerset this difference was very apparent. So that is probably the only thing that would have made this hotel experience better.

There are a few La Siesta Hotels in Hanoi, we stayed at La Siesta on Ma May street for 3 nights in a Deluxe Double Room. The service started from the minute we were met at the airport and driven to the hotel in the EHG Airport Transfer. The staffs attentiveness and eagerness to ensure you are well informed and taken care of is felt the moment you enter the hotel, from the warm welcome, the arrival drink, fresh fruit and cold face cloth. The rooms are large, clean and very comfortable (some have bath/shower combo so make sure your request if you want shower only). The buffet breakfast was delicious (the best one on our whole holiday). Everything is made fresh daily with a mixture of westernised and Vietnamese foods.. Hotel is in the perfect location in the Old Quarter. Close enough to walk to restaurants, bars etc (1 - 2 blocks), but far enough that you don't have noisy clubs outside to keep you awake.. Great Location. Great Price. 5 Star Service. 5 Star Hotel. Perfect in every way.

The staff is very nice. Swimming pool is inside, hot water, very very good. Even for 5-star hotels in Hanoi, this is the only inside hot water swimming pool. The breakfast is very good. Rice, meats, vegetables, and noodles, fruits. I have live in here for totally 51 days. The location is not good, 5 KM to old city quarter, close to the business area. Not good for tourist, but good for business.

Family of 4 with 2 children 13 and 11 we booked 2 rooms and they put us on different levels not sure why but we made it work the rooms are very small but nice and clean and comfortable it was our first time in Hanoi so not sure if all hotels are like this We booked this hotel because it was one of the only hotels in Hanoi we could find with a swimming pool . The pool it’s self was great just a little small but lucky enough the few times we had a swim no one was there so it worked out great for us. The breakfast was really good we expected a small choice for a small hotel but it was great lots to choose from and nice food. The staff were very attentive and we had a early flight in the morning and even packed us all a breakfast bag to take with us. If staying in Hanoi again we will stay here again very happy

This apartment hotel is surprisingly better than its description on agoda which is unusual in Vietnam. It was great for our family, better than most places I have stayed in Vietnam as we had so much space, the location is very convenient, the service was great. The facilities are of 5 star standard. My kids especially love the swimming pool which is very clean, children friendly and not crowded at all. We got 20% off buffets and bakery in Deawoo hotel. The staffs are very responsive and caring, doesn't matter whether I speak Vietnamese or English. The Easter buffet was wonderful with live bunnies, egg hunt, egg painting and a lot of good food. The washing machine was bad at the beginning but they immediately replaced it with a rather new one when I complained. Iron and hair dryer were available upon our request. To book grab, we have to tell the driver that the entrance is opposite the Australian embassy. Lotte supermarket, indoor playground and mall were great.

This hotel is in the center of the old town so perfect for walking around, it has such friendly staff who remember your name.We were warmly greeted on arrival. Our room was decorated for a special occasion we were celebrating. Spacious and comfortable was the bedroom, we were also suitably impressed by the size of the bathroom.The room was very comfortable and quiet with a nice view of the old quarter.Great hotel in Hanoi

i spent about 2 hours searching online for a hotel, when i saw MK Premier boutique hotel, i got attracted by the rooftop bar and booked it right away. Me and my boyfriend only stayed in hanoi for 2 days cos of our tight schedule. we LOVE MK premier ! the room is super nice and clean and huge. we booked the one with a big balcony just above the street, we enjoy sitting on the balcony watching people walking around. I love the style of this hotel, a trendy vietnam style but not like those traditional ones that creep me out at night. the whole hotel gives me a very relax and chill vibe which you can never find in a big city. they have a beautiful rooftop with a bar, decorated with beautiful lanterns and sofa. And we met the hotel manager Mr Eric. He is amazingly helpful!! he gave amazing advises where to go and what to do in vietnam and even help us book our tour, taxi and flight tickets. Thanks Eric!! one more thing! the sandwiches they made at the lobby is amazing!

I stayed there two days on a business trip and enjoyed it very much. Spacious rooms fully equipped and very kind (Vietnam!) staff. It is a little off the city area, but for that it is very quiet. And Taxi is also not expensive in Hanoi. Their problem might be that there are so many hotels in Hanoi which have ratings far beyond 8 at much cheaper prices. Still if you are the first time in Hanoi and have the money (which is still very reasonable compared to other countries) - or your company has the money - Interconti Hanoi is a safe bet!

Always using this hotel while in Hanoi for biz trips. Far from old-town, but good for my biz purpose. Room may be a bit old, but spacious enough and well-maintained. The best part is their excellent hospitality supported by efficient well trained staff.

The room is new and clean. Quality of bedsheet and towels are very good, as a 4 star hotel should have but considering the money that we paid for, its a bargain. breakfast is at top floor of the hotel with overlooking the whole old quarter. Delicious food, more than enough choices for everyone. Their egg custard worth mentioning as its so soft and creamy. Never tasted such egg custard before. Had to try their jacuzzi when the front desk mentioned about it. When we told them the time we want to use the jacuzzi, water was filled up for us and privacy are given to us that only a couple can use the jacuzzi at any 1 time. The traffic in hanoi is terrible where motorbikes are going whatever way they want to and ignoring the traffic lights. Its their habit to honks and honks so there is no way to avoid the noises from all these no matter which hotel or where you stay in hanoi, especially if you want to be near the old quarter. Definitely would recommend this hotel for those that want to experience Hanoi

I am pleased to say that this return stay to Hanoi Hotel after 2 years has not let me down. Services and staff performance has improved tremendously. Very customer oriented staffs that will go all out to serve and help. The only thing that remained unchanged, unfortunately, is the ageing old rooms that have been there for almost 20 plus years. I think with all the revenues and profits of the hotel company, it is time to overhaul the old rooms. if not, there are many options available such as Lotte Hotel, which I have stayed there since its opening in September last year that boasts rooms that are more modern and high floors similar to 5 stars hotel.

At the host in your hotel, thanks to you and staff serviced, we also enjoy there every things. In addition, delicious breakfast full memory in my family. If we can visit the Hanoi city again in future, Bonsella hotel is our first choose. Although my family traveled all over the world individually, it was my first time travel to Vietnam. The service of Bonsella hotel excellent than many 4 or 5 star hotels. During this trip of Vietnam, we also traveled to interesting places, such as the Ha Long bay. There is a deeper understanding of its history for my family and me. It is worth mentioning that my child attended elementary school. For his homework this winter semester, he selects visited experience of Bonsella hotel and Halong bay in his homework. We share the our thinking for you.

The newest Somerset in Hanoi and it didn’t fail to impress! Furnishings and kitchen were modern and functional. I loved the cosy living room where we gathered each morning for coffee and at the end of the day for drinks. Bed was comfy and bathroom had all the amenities we needed. Staff all excellent, from Reception to Housekeeping. Always happy to help out with calling a cab, making dinner reservations or tidying up the apartment. The location is a little far from the Old Quarter but then, it’s not so touristy. Which we loved. The area has plenty of restaurants, supermarkets, convenience stores. Right opposite the apartment, and about 10 min walk, is a flower market. Some noise from the traffic but nothing too major. There’s a steakhouse on the ground floor of the apartment and a poolside bistro. And a Starbucks as well! One of the best Somersets I’ve stayed in Asia! 5 stars!

The Hanoi Club Hotel is located in the North of Hanoi in reasonable distance between the airport and downtown. The room was excellent, great designed, best features the king size bed and the spacy luxory bathroom. also well, wide screen TV, WiFi, AC. The staff is very friendly, competent and supportive. Every question answered satisfctionally. The breakfast is good to excellent, the room and breakfast staff excellent. The location invites you to real Vietnames urban life, walking at the West Lake, great restaurants and sightseeing points in walking distance. The price is very reasonable for the service you get. also a very nice pool with lake view, a good gym and spa available. The service there incl. towels is also excellent. No comments or prejudices for us as mixed couples Vietnamese/German which we faced in other locations. Yes we will come again!

This is a lovely new hotel and spa. We stumbled upon it after an aweful experience with another Hanoi Hotel and Hanoi Nostalgia welcomed us with open arms! The room was impeccable and surprisingly quiet considering how noisy the Old Quarter is. The reception staff was helpful and very accommodating, they even stored our luggage while we went on a three day cruise on Ha Long Bay free of charge. Breakfast was delicious and had a variety of Vietnamese options as well as western options. The spa was relaxing and rejuvenating and the women who worked there were delightful! Overall, an awesome experience... We highly recommend it!

actually i lived 2 years at hanoi in vietnam by work. and so i know very well vn than other customer. this hotel is more valuable (cost effective) and compatable than another 4 or 5 grade star hotel in hanoi. i stay king bed in studio which is arranged some material for cooking and laudry.

Easily the best hotel in Hanoi. The service is nothing less than a 5 star. Probably even better. The breakfast is super delicious. Best pho is hanoi is made right in the hotel kitchen!! They have curated a special menu and guests can pick and choose anything and everything feom the list. Its not the usual buffet stuff and that’s what makes it so different. Every staff from reception desk to bell boy, waiters and housekeeping are so friendly and polite, with always a smile on their faces. They take a lot of care for each of their guests and its the little things like handwritten goodbye notes or upgrading of rooms for returning guests, that makes them the best hotel in hanoi

Located on the shore of the lake, the view from the higher floors are magnificent. Taking a stroll around the lake, you can find restaurants and cafes, although much more sparce and definitely quieter than the bustling streets of the old quarters. The hotel staff are bilingual in several languages, and very professional. Although priced higher than the average hotels in Hanoi, it is reasonable considering you get the best accomodation Hanoi has to offer.
