Best hotels & accommodations in Kiev

Located in central Kiev, this hotel was perfect if you want to base yourself centrally. About a 7min walk to Maiden metro station or 7mins to khreshchatyk metro station. There is a shopping mall just directly across the hotel which is about a 2min walk, and down at the basement you have an assortment of fast food joints if you don't want to pay hotel priced food (whic...

I've stayed at several hotels in Kiev and this one stands out for being very friendly, efficient and having well maintained rooms. If you don't want to use the metro getting to the city center, make sure you plan your visits there by taxi with a lot of extra time in case of heavy traffic

It's already my fifth time staying in this hotel. The staff is very professional, polite and helpful. The breakfast is amazing, very big choice for everybody. The rooms were clean and good enough for that price. The barman of the second level is very nice very professional and respectful. The hotel is located in the best place for me, near Arena City, near Kreshtsha...

The staff was the whole Star very friendly, Even before our stay they have been very helpful how to get there. At our one week stay they always helped us, how to get to some points of interest. Breakfast was tasty (Served from 7:00 untill 11:00 am, so you‘re able to sleep long) The Menu in the Restaurant has a great choice, a mix between local, western and exotic Meals...

Hotel charge me city tax and it was to much, and when I order hotel it shouldn't be more hiden to pay, very nice hotel, breakfast was ok, i had suit rom and hotel selv is 4 stars and deserve 4+ stars, and metro 2 min to go, staff very kind and helpful, very good hotel, every thing is like should be, it is worth money and I thank staff:-), will just stay there next time...

The price of Hotel is very good. The room was very good and modern with beautiful view of Kiev landscape. The bathroom was modern with all services, shower with hot water. The bed was comfort, there was a tv with a list of famous channels of Europe and Ukraine. In generally result very good and good price for twin room. It is near Universitet Metro Station of Kiev, 2...

This was my first time in Kiev, and I was fortunate to choose this hotel - the staff was very attentive, even gave me some recommendations what is going on in the area (it was worth to visit a night market nearby). Good size room with everything you need.

I was very satisfied with the room. Clean and good space. Ok English by the staf. Good location. Not in the center but just a litle under ten $ with taxi to the center. The stedet outside are betaling you. But that dosen't matter in my stay. Helpfull staf. Good food at the restaurant in the hotell. This you order and pay for. But just about 8 $ for the breakefast. ...

Located outside of the downtown Kiev core but very near subway station. Easy access to Khreschatik area within 5 subway stops. Good breakfast, large rooms. Fairly service in general and very attentive staff. Hotel is located 1 subway stop from the main Expo-Centre.

Right in maidan square. Five minutes walk to the beautiful churches is St Michael's, St Sophia's, and St Andrew's. OK for short stay. Too could do with a bit if a spruce up but it was clean. Kiev is an interesting, although crowded city. Very cheap prices.

Great place to stay if you're into the architecture - a very cool unique building that was a great base for seeing Kiev. Inside things are pretty basic, but good value all in all. Location was fine - metro stop is under a 10 minute walk away (the deepest one in Europe!), there are some good food options nearby too. All in all recommended.

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay single comfort room was a double with balcony and awesome views over Kiev. Staff amazing I was unfortunate to have to go to hospital but this was all dealt with so quick and efficiently by the hotel staff and fantastic public medical service! Thank you to all !

The complex has got multiple selections like studios, 1,2 beds apartments. The complex consist of two buildings. The one with the receipting desk is so good and highly recommend while the other one is located on the same building but you have to work for a distance of about 25 meters & 1 minute walk. It does not have reception desk and that building is the only one whi...

As an English-speaker, I was worried that I would have a hard time in Kiev. The staff here made sure that wasn't the case, and helped me with a variety of tasks. Booking taxis, room service, no problem at all. The rooms are quite charming, with relatively large and comfortable bathrooms. If you're in Kiev as a solo traveler or in a group for sightseeing, this hotel is ...

Well decorated rooms. Very comfortable. Our room had a lovely little balcony where we enjoyed our coffee in the mornings. Walking distance to the Bessarabka Market. Friendly staff with good suggestions of local restaurants. They also allowed us to store our luggage for most of the day as our flight leaving Kiev was quite late.

This is a nice small apartment hotel. There has been a lot of attention to detail in the design of this facility and the rooms have a lot of amenities, however, its lacking a swimming pool, full gym and lobby with a bar area. The main advantage in my opinion is near the Maidan which is at the heart of Kiev.

The hotel is a series of rooms in a tower block . There is no sign outside the building indicating that it is a hotel but when you are inside you are actually in for a treat. The staff are nice and helpful and Oleg in particular is very amusing. The rooms are stunning but the hotel while being equidistant from the city and the airport is not in the most desirable loc...

Very clean and efficient. Compact and nicely designed. Location under a car park at the back of the Mercure. Also near shopping mall and coffee kiosks. Shower had a fluctuating temperature. If 2pm is check in time then even if rooms are free and ready you are only allowed to check in then!!
Cheapest hotels in Kiev

it is just 500 meters from the metro station. it is a little bit tricky to find. Just exit the right way from the metro gate and turn right direction through the stairs. After all, once you outside just keep waking left. 2 minutes and you will see all building. There are 24 hours opened the big supermarket at the entrance. Hostel located 3rd floor. No staff can speak En...

Finally a professional and well run hostel. They seem hard to find in Kiev, for some reason. Anyway, if you are looking for a clean place, with proper security (cameras and in room safety boxes, friendly English speaking staff, enough toilets and bathrooms for everyone, everything functioning, no run down, depressing interiors and none of the bizarre and strict rules,...

First needed to passcode to enter the apartment and the room No.70 which had broken bell. It was hard to check in. The owner who barely spoke broken English. And strict house rules. But it was quiet and fast WiFi. I don’t think I want to stay there again

Thee whole building is in really bad condition. Toilets and showers don't work. I was worried about electricity as I could see some sings of burns around it. IT WAS ALSO REALLY COLD and no additional blankets! One of the nights I come back later and Some homeless people slept by my door and blocked and entrance to the room. Kitchen dirty and all you could find there ...

The Z Hostel is a good hostel for backpacking and travelling thru. As mentioned in the title, you are most welcome to come and sleep, just don't do anything else. You cannot bring your own alcohol (the cafetaria isn't a warm place to be anyway), you cannot have more than one bowl of breakfast grub or wash your hands if the cleaning lady is working the shower area. For ...

Nice staff and good hostel for the money you pay. Clean and convenient place to stay with a family. Location is also not bad, quite close to trams and bus stops, shop and eating options. For family staying you should choose Comfort Triple Room, though don't expect it to have queen size bed + single bed, but 3 single beds. What we didn't like is the sound isolation - Yo...

it is so busy with single men. Lady at reception charging you extra 30 grivnas for sheets. I stayed here because the price and how it was close to the airport. the way to the airport if you want to walk you need a GPS and cross the railway this road does not show on the map. do not stay here you wont get good sleep the place is kind of salvation army homeless shelter....

I wasn’t happy overall with this property as. a foreign taveller.. the physical address was quoted as 129 On the street and ii walked into what I thought was the building and walked up alll the flights of stairs whilst carrying small backpack and large suitcase only to realise that ithe hotel is next door underneath the street level. The lady who was running and man...

The staff Artem and Victor were great and friendly, but it didn’t really seem like a hostel. more like you were staying in the owners work environment with bunk beds in each room. He would have his friends over, not clean up after himself (kitchen was super dirty) and slept right next to you in the dorm room and turn off the AC even after you would turn it on. The roo...

Staff and owner is very very good people that help you in your stay. Location is excellent in Kiev. Very small and family business hostel. Small kitchen and resting area. Beds are very hasitate to moving that make noise and they are very simple. I stay 10 people room, it is small.

A great place with polite staff and above-average room for an amazing price. Located next to an underground station it is still finishing up some renovation but has great rooms that are just as pictured A single complaint would be the WiFi speeds are abyssal... (Think sub-dialup speeds) and drop all the time, a bit of work to be done here I think... Overall enjoyed th...

It's far from the downtown and far from the subway. But I have chosen this hotel because of location cause my destination was very close to it. It was cold in the room but the hotel staff provided us with two blankets. One girl at the reception wasn't kind and didn't smile. The rest was ok.

The staff was the whole Star very friendly, Even before our stay they have been very helpful how to get there. At our one week stay they always helped us, how to get to some points of interest. The Hotel was clean and tidy. The breakfast was good. The staff were extremely helpful and went the extra mile, especially Anna. We had a couple of issues, one of our group lost his phone and our return flights were cancelled due to a Lufthansa pilots strike and in both cases the staff assisted in helping to rectify both situations.

Hotel Dnipro was a perfect choice for me as a single traveler. Although it was nothing fancy, it was clean and very reasonably priced. Sitting in the middle of the city, it is a two-minute walk to the subway and 4-minute walk to the mall. Attached to (but not owned) by the hotel is a 24-hour cafe, which was very convenient. The complimentary breakfast every morning in...

To start I was worried as I travelled on an early flight from Kharkov so arrived early and they would let me check me in until 2pm and I arrived at 9am, despite that I had booked room for 3 weeks they made me pay for extra half a day? No restaurant in hotel but many close. Staff were nice and polite. My room was very small but comfortable. All in all good hotel, just d...

Hotel was in a good location in the heart of Kiev. The breakfast was great with a variety of different options served buffet style. The room was clean and the staff was friendly. I purchased the room at a 50% discount which was more in line with what the hotel had to offer. Overall, my stay was good and I would purchase again at the discounted rate.

I am going always to this lovely hotel when ever I travel to kiev , this hotel in very good location and quiet place and it is very clean and very good condition comper to all 4 stars hotel in kiev , and the mat important that staff are very nice and lovely and friendly and very helpful :)

Traveler impressions of Kiev
its an old city ,,with big history all to be discover,,I'm coming back for few month ,,as i think that the future for this city is up.
Kiev is a very lively city during all the 24 hours. It is quite inexpensive as well in all that matters - restaurant, performing arts, transport and even hotel stays.
I was very impressed with Kyiv. It has a huge number of sights and activities, ranging from beautiful churches, museums and performing arts to more unique places such as the "Museum of the Great Patriotic War".
Briefly: Kiev is a city that is under the radar for most tourists. But, it continues to improve. Areas like Poltova, along the river, are getting an update, and there are a number of interest religious areas to visit.
You dont feel safe at night. Be aware of corrupt and criminal police. Always have your passport on you.
It's a beautiful city full of parks, tress and flowers! There did not seem to be much organised by way of entertainment, but who needs that when you can wander all day and evening through beautiful parks.
I once visited this city and was caught in their worst blizzard for 100 years. Waiting in vain for my taxi, I wandered out into the street through knee deep snow and spoke to a young motorist parked in front of the hotel.
Great place to visit as so much to do and see. Don't try to ride a motor bike unless you have good insurance.
LOVED THE PEOPLE VERY HELPFUL. FROM THE HOTEL I WALKED TO ALL THE PLACES OF INTEREST ,AS HOTEL IS PERFECT TO DO THIS.
A great capital city of a wonderful country - I fell in love with Kiev on my first visit two years ago, and I will keep on returning!
Очень красивый город. Здесь есть занятия на любой вкус: можно изучать старинные постройки и памятники архитектуры, можно ходить по музеям и выставкам.
Kiev is a pretty city with some of the most beautiful women on the planet. Great place to shop as well.
Avoid staying at the Royal Hotel de Paris. Shopping is patchy. Underground shops ok, but peel off price labels and you'll find Euro tickets are a fraction of the markup.
