"The best deal, we had in France. Very close to almost all tourist activities, 10 Min to Church of St Bernadette / the Grotto. Quite during the night so you will have good sleep. The bed a bit too soft and small, but in general very good."

"This is my second visit and the only reason for choosing this hotel is that it really stands out. Lourdes is a pilgrimage centre and the area around the sanctuary is just flooded with hotels. Among these hotels, a lot of hotels do not stand up to their name, stars or standards. Hotel Padoue is one of the few gems that provide you with clean and spacious rooms with decent facilities. Not only is the location awesome the room size and cleanliness is also outstanding. I have already booked this hotel again for a cousin and his family. The hotel can be a bit pricey and the breakfast may not be that fulfilling for the price to some. Very close to the sanctuary and the stores for religious items."

"This was our first visit to Lourdes & part of our two-week trip in UK & France. Though the hotel room is one of the smallest that we stayed in during our trip, it leaves the strongest impression. We had a room on the 4th floor; the room has two doors that open to two separate side-by-side balconies. We were awed the moment we opened the doors. The view from our room is the mountain behind the row of neighboring opposite hotels that are separated from ours by a river with a strong stream from how it sounds and looks. The mountain, the sound from the river and the cooling weather are just amazing for us, coming from a tropical country. May not be the best view , but it was a great change having visited London & Paris prior to Lourdes. The room itself is just nice enough for a queen size bed & a single sofa bed. We like it that it has a separate toilet and bathroom, which means things get done more efficiently for a family like us! As there are not many attractions around, the hotel is just a breeze 10 min walk from the main attraction - the Sanctuary, with shops lining on both sides of the small one lane street on the way there (very commercialized in our opinion). All shops sell nearly similar souvenirs, though we found one selling things at slightly lower prices. There is nothing much to say about the hotel apart from our beautiful room. The restaurant looks like it has been vacant for ages, but we notice most of the hotels' restaurants are in similar state, probably because there are too many eating options outside and not enough visitors. "Pierre, the owner/manager and his staff were very professional, friendly, and attentive to our needs. The hotel was kept very clean and within walking distance to Shrine, and it was in a good location that was peaceful at night. My mother and I enjoyed our stay, and will definitely return in the next few years with all our relatives who didn’t get to go with us this time. Pierre: My mom thanks you again for remembering her birthday and your small thoughtful gift while we were there. "

"Angela, who checked us in was very friendly and helpful, The room was very nice and the location of the Hotel was perfect if you want peace and quite, The only cons, were the wifi which was almost close to none in the room and some male staff in the front desk we encountered, who I smiled at but never got a reaction. Over-all a good place to stay in when in Lourdes"

"The location of the hotel is good, just a few minutes away from the sanctuary of our Lady of Lourdes. Once you go out, there are a lot of restaurants and shops to choose from. Downside though is that the rooms smelled really bad when we got in, we got two rooms and one smelled like dead rat. We reported it immediately though and they got to fix the problem but I can still remember how gross it felt when we first entered. In terms of size though, the rooms are big enough for 2-3 people. "
