"African hotels usually fall down on execution. Electrical and plumbing issues typically. This tends to detract from the obvious charm of their welcomes and huge investment in facilities; often in challenging environments. This is not one of those hotels. It was of the highest standard of delivery by any standards. That made it a holiday from the other hotels we have visited as we tour around Namibia. Basically evidently skill in hotel management. Luderitz is also one of the oddest places I have stayed and I am glad I did."
