Best hotels & accommodations in Milan

The majority of reviews on Agoda say that for a quick stay, this is the go-to hotel which provides a comfortable stay/service/access to get around town. My mother and I dreaded the almost unanimous "small bathroom" comment, but decided to forgo the fact and ended up booking our stay there anyway. Arriving in Milan, we immediately got into a taxi and asked to be taken t...

We really enjoyed our stay at the Armani Hotel in Milan. We were there for 3 days after a cruise for 20 days. It felt just like coming home. Everything was perfectly clean, breakfast was great, but the staff are what make this hotel the place to stay while in Milan.

Glam is a perfect spot if you're working in and around Milan - It takes 20 minutes by Taxi from Linate Airport and the central Milan station and underground are right outside. The hotel is contemporary, clean, and comfortable. Our very reasonable rate included breakfast and dinner and the food on offer is good. The front desk and hotel staff are always very helpful and...

My wife, my 9 month old son and I were traveling from Lake Como back to NYC with a pit stop in Milan on the way home. My business partner recommended this hotel and we booked the Family Room. My goodness it was the best hotel we have stayed in, in quite a long time so I would easily recommend it to anyone who stays in Milan. The room was huge, the staff was incredib...

Just come back from a long weekend stay in Milan. Hotel in a good location not far from the Duomo, shops and restaurants. Staff have been great from booking to arrival and then also during our stay. All the staff were very helpful and friendly. Room was very clean and spacious. Would definitely book again.

This hotel was the best thing that happned to us. First, service provided was amazing! Ludovica at the reception desk provided us with the best, five star welcome, check in and concierge information. I would note that she is amazing in her job and hotel should reward her for that. Another two receptionist were exceptional. Stephano and can't remember the other guy's na...

Our family visited Uptown Palace Hotel in Milan, Italy. We had a great experience! Our family of four stayed in a beautiful executive suite that had a view of the gorgeous Duomo Cathedral. Despite the construction cranes hard at work, we had a very beautiful view of the city in our corner position on the 11th floor of the hotel. The front desk staff, quickly expla...

One might think, walking in, that because the hotel is so very original -- some might say funky -- that it would be odd as well in its services. No. A second glance will tell you -- the seemingly scattershot oddness of the decor is in fact impeccably designed -- and if you stay there for a week, as I did, you will find that the services are exceptional. In addition, I ...

Compared to other old & rundown hotels in Milan, this hotel is truly great! I've been to other hotels around the Central Station and near Duomo in the past. Now, this hotel may not be in the "happening" area, it's quiet and rather well-kept compared to most of the other hotels in the city.

I have stayed one night in Hotel Atlantic and would definitely stay again and highly recommended to everyone who travel to Milan. We are on honeymoon and first time to Milan. Hotel is convenient & perfectly located opposite Milano Centrale train station which is only 5 mins walking. Special compliments to the reception staff name ROBERT, who is very warm welcoming, ver...

Very good for tourists aiming to explore the city and need a hotel for relaxing after day long sightseeing. Excellent location for tours not just in Milan, but in Entire Italy - close to railway station, shuttle bus to airport, subways going straight to the center of the city, light rail and buses. The stuff is very nice and helpful.

Location is superb as it is just a 5 mins walk away from the central station. Many restaurants around the area and the pasta place beside the hotel was my best meal in Milan. Rooms and toliets were big enough but the shower is kind of small which i think is a norm in Europe.

I have been staying in this hotel in Milan for the past few years. The rooms are clean and decent, although small, comparing to other hotels nearby. Wifi connection is free and good. However the best thing about this hotel is the central location in Milan. It is minutes away by foot to the Duomo, shopping galleries and la scala theatre. There are also many nice restaur...

just got back from a 1 night stay at the echo. pros: newly renovated, clean, friendly staff. location can't be beat, right across street from milan central train station with a metro stop, lots of services located in station. full breakfast included, though coffee service a bit slow. slow service was typical across italy (we had the same experience in france). cons: ...

residenzia calvino was a very nice hotel, situated just behind the cimitero monumentale (which is a fabulous place to visit, as it is like going to a free art gallery and museum of architecture and design at the same time). the staff behind the main desk were very helpful, giving me a map and directions to whatever i wanted to see/do. the lobby was very modern-looking ...

We stay in this hotel for 3 nights. Overall experience is satisfy. They allow us to check-in at noon time. Because our flight arrive early in the morning. The location is perfect to explore Milan or travel to nearby city. There are restaurants, convenience store nearby. The room provide everything a good 3-stars hotel could be. We will stay here again if we come ba...

Stayed here with my husband and 14 year old daughter for 4 nights. Really clean hotel and absolutely beautiful breakfast. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Very handy to Central Station and Milan Bus Tour. Once we done the bus tour it gave us an idea of exactly where to go and eat etc. which was all within walking distance. Whilst in Milan we took the train to Lak...

Jolly President is extremely conveniently located, near the major shopping area of Milan (less than 5 minutes walk) and close to Duomo and Galleria. The staff are friendly and helpful. Good recommendation of shopping destinations and restaurants. Taxi stand right in front of the hotel (always a nightmare to get taxi in Milan so the taxi stand is very handy. Also, t...

This was probably one of the highlights of our one night stay in Milan. Hotel Berna was easy to find, in a great location right next to Central Station and conveniently located next to a restaurant with great service. The room was spacious and clean, front desk attendants were friendly, and we enjoyed the breakfast buffet with soooo many options. We’d definitely stay h...

This hotel is absolute perfect. We stayed in a Junior Suite, which was spacious and immaculately clean with a large bathroom. The staff get 10/10 for attentiveness and helpfulness. I cannot find any fault at all with this hotel and would not consider ever staying at another hotel in Milan. Overall score is a massive 10/10.

If you are visiting Milan and would like to be in the best shopping place in Italy , then this hotel is just perfect. In less than 2 minutes walking you can be in Duomo. I stayed with my wife for 3 nights in room 141 which was far from the elevators. We visited Milan just for shopping as this period was in the winter sale period where you get 30 to 50 per cent off mark...

Milan was the last leg of our Italy 10 days tour and it ended off our trip very well. The bed was a great retreat for our tired bodies after many days of train rides and walks. And it was very easy to find. It's really just out of the Milan Centro train station and across the road. Most conveniently, when we needed to go to the Malpensa airport, there are many shuttle ...

This small secluded hotel is just a stones throw from the main shopping/cafe street in Milan. Very little to no noise from the Main Street though. Only a few short minutes walk to the castle and the Duomo and a huge high-end shopping area. Avis/Budget car rental is within walking distance in case you need to rent a car. The visitors center is about 5 mins away and you ...

There are two BB hotels in Milan. One is near the city center and the other is next to the soccer stadium. I stayed at the one across from the soccer stadium. This one is locate on the outside western edge of the city. The metro station is on the other side of the soccer stadium. Simple walk across the parking lot and turn right to get to the metro line. No socc...

We book this hotel because it has good value for money and is situated 10km away from Milan central. We arrived late for check in but there were still a long queue. The receptionist did a good job to check us in within 5 minutes. Our room was clean, bright and adequately spaced out. The breakfast was great with good variety of bread, cereal and fruits..and the coffee w...

We love our stay at NYX MILAN Hotel. As we're moving a lot from one city to another, having a base closed to the station is really handy. Only a couple of steps from Milano Centrale. The room is a little small, but we were out most of the time, so that's OK. The staff is very friendly and helpful too.

this hotel was the easiest to find amongst all the hotels we had stayed in italy, and is easily one of the best hotels during our 2 weeks vacation in italy. it is a 10 mins walk from the milano centrale stazione, and another 15 mins walk to the shopping district, corso buenas aires. we were greeted by alberto during check-in. we appreciated the fact that he congratulat...

The Principe treated us very well. We got an great rate via Agoda of $250 a night. The other 5 star hotels in Milan all charged at least three times that. The Hotel is classically european and has all the amenities one would want including a great gym, pool, and spa. Breakfast starts at $50 so luckily ours was included in the price. The location was not central b...

My stay was astounding. By far the BEST hostel in ITALIA! If you stay at HOSTEL COLOURS--expect 5-star treatment, great facilities, provide guests with very good hospitality. You won't be disappointed if you book a room or bed here. Jeff and the staff work very hard to provide guest satisfaction. Give them a try, see how you can experience MILANO in a truly unforget...

I can't really say anything about this place, because they sent me to another hostel. They claimed to have no room, because they were " creating space for workers ". I was not the only one who got into this situation. The other place has very bad reviews on the Internet, though it seems to have a new management. Overall, if you don't want to get angry at the beginning...

I like this hotel very much,Staff are very friendly. The room with TV, Airconditioner,closet.Table. Besides, it is very clean. The price is very cheap. According to I paid, It is valuable in milan, I did not expect the room with that much falicity before. Location is near Sondrio Metro, and central station. very easy to go to DUOMO, PORTA VENEZIA. The bathroom is new up...

Really cheap. You get what you pay for. The reality is not very different from the pictures. Really clean. Friendly staff. Comfy bed. Tram station at less than 100mt. The walls are too thin. You can hear almost everything. Too far away from the center, but easy to reach.

I stayed there 2 nights, in a single room very comfortable. Small hotel owned by a very nice family. Really great staff always ready to help. As it's small you really feel part of the family. Location is the big plus. You are very central, with tram right in front of the hotel that takes you to duomo, city center, shopping ... you have a metro station and a supermark...

The hotel is average enough for you to stay in milan because its just next to sondrio metro station entrance. One thing its just look like a small office with a small signage which is almost unnoticeable and they should put bigger signage so that easy to locate the reception. Everything is ok if u re not a fussy traveller. Just nice for for you to stay in Milan as hote...

I stayed in a private room for 2 with my mother. It is located perfectly: 5 to 10 minutes walk from Milano Centrale - which can take you to different parts of Milan and the rest of Italy. There is a grocery story downstairs too. As for the room itself, it was clean and huge! The facilities and services of the hostel are to die for! Free food in the shared kitchen, free...

Travell with a friend for 2 night stay and we are very happy with that the room size of the hotel is big compare to other hotels in Milan, geat location in city and easily accesible to the public transport. Restaurant is easily available by walking distance deFINATELY will be back again

Staff were all helpful and no language barrier as many Filipinos working. Easy check-in in their lobby, and their cafe/breakfast are is also located in the foyer. Clean room, comfortable bed with huge window for fresh air with view of courtyard. Room not so spacious but straight to the point and has all we need. Toilet has a washer but very tight shower. Breakfast has ...

Not a fun of hostels, but that was something special. Stayed in a separate double room. Immaculately clean with all that extra (shampoos etc) you don't get in many 3/4 stars hotels, incredibly friendly staff (were met as a best friend), always willing to help in any issue. Breakfasts and dinners included, open kitchen full of food all day long, very reasonable prices f...

Hotel Berlino's location is not the best. Will need to walk or take a bus to catch the metro or tram to the city centre. But rooms are very nice and big. Huge ensuites. A good spread for breakfast even of it was the same everyday. Comfortable hotel to stay. Many good restaurants nearby so one will never go hungry. Good if you don't mind to be a little outside the city ...

I really enjoyed my stay here. The hotel is 20 mins away from the centre by public transportation but therefor the price is a lot cheaper than the hotels right in the middle of the city. The 24h reception service makes it really easy for you if you have any questions. Public Parking is right in front of the building but costs 2€/hour which is a normal price for milan,...

My friend and I had the best time in Milan and the hotel made that happen. Every aspect of the service from hotel rooms cleaning to bar and front desk was amazing. They made us feel welcome and st home. The rooms were emasculate and it was GREAT value for money. One thing I'll like to add is that there should be a service difference between superior and the other rooms...

We had an amazing weekend in Milan at Hotel Edy. The staff was really nice and helpful, they offered us every morning free coffee and cakes, even though the price didnt include any breakfast. They insured us clean room and the shared bathroom was clean as well. I absolutely recommend it for young couples or friends if they dont want to spend so much money on accommodat...

Nice hotel. Very well located. The room was really large and with a nice decoration. The entrance to some rooms, like the one was assigned to us, is through a different door, independent fron the hotel front desk, near 70 yards from the reception, in the back street. Be aware: NO ELEVATOR.

Aside from it being very centrally located, this place was HORRIBLE and all of the other reviews were lies. The main reason we chose this hostel, along with location, was the raving reviews regarding the wifi. As a traveler who relies on wifi use to use my phone abroad, it was extremely frustrating to not have wifi the ENTIRE TIME we were there, even after we brought i...

Hotel Flora in Milan is great value if you're looking for a place near Milano Centrale train station. The entrance to the metro is just steps away, and there is a well stocked supermarket on the next block, making it very convenient to prepare your own meals if you don't feel like eating out. We were pleasantly surprised by the size of our room, which had two separate ...

Milan IS very expensive, especially for food. Hotel was good but the welcome was lack lustre, just very basic information about breakfast no offer of help with bags etc. At this time the reception was not busy either. Later encounters with staff were much better. Fresh fruit offer and milk for tea in rooms pleasant extras.

We arrived on Saturday night only to stay for one night. We used our Agoda Rewards to get the hotel for free, great choice, and great program since it was very easy to book, not like other programs where you have to book 6 months in advance or more, we easily booked the hotel 3 days before and for FREE!! The hotel was very nice and clean. I read other reviews expressin...

I came here for a congress. The place is located in a nice rural neighborhood. It is probably a 10 to 12 minute walk to get to the metro station. There are probably hotels that are located closer to the Milan centre so this location might not work well for everyone. I think the staff was pretty competent and bilingual. This is very important because it makes it e...

Free shuttle included and breakfast which opens at 5am..In room safe and refrigerator. Cons: There was no information in the reservation about the shuttle pick up at the airport. Was unable to contact the hotel in spite of an online telephone number and had to have local Italians at the airport contact them for me. The way the Milan airport is set up, it was very con...

What an amazing way to start off my Milan adventure! The room was the largest I've ever had in Europe (two-room suite, two bathrooms with heated floor, and automatic window shades) and the atmosphere was simple elegance. I half wanted to stay in the room all day. Fortunately, it was too close to Duomo and other landmarks to do so (about a 10-15 minute walk). Breakfast ...

I've stayed in a few hotels across north and southern italy, and Hotel De La Ville is one of the better ones. Location is great - just 5 minutes walk from the city centre (where the Duomo of Milano is). Attentive staff. Wifi access was good in the room and more important it's free, something not all hotels in Italy provide without extra charge (or have good wifi recept...

It is actually very near to Missori station (20 meters) away which is just one sto after Duomo station taken from Centrale station (Euro 1.50 per person for any urban ride). There will be 'scavengers' at the station trying to intervene and offer help. But it comes with a price. As it was my first trip to Italy, they took whatever change they lay their hands on when the...

From check in until check out everything was perfect. Room was the best I've ever stay in the range of price. Bathroom is very big and clean. They even got safety seal on each toiletries, something you won't find even in 5 stars hotel. Bed was comfort and linen was clean. There is some kind of heater where you can hang your towel to dry. Location wise it is just 2 trai...

I was so pleasantly surprised with this hotel, from the minute I walked in I felt welcomed by the staff, the hotel was clean, modern, well appointed, great value for money and the breakfast was remarkable for Italy. newer modern designed hotel very close to metro and nearby to duomo and last supper. large room had extra sitting area, bathroom with both tub and shower and comfy bed. felt spacious. included breakfast buffet was top notch with all items labeled,3 serving attendants and gluten free items in an eating area with ample table choices. staff spoke some english and were...

Wonderful, clean & big hotel room. Location was splendid! We were not able to locate the door of the hotel (Lobby located on 5th level). Signs were not enough to indicate. But once we locate the hotel, we were warmly received by the hotel staff. Our room (suite) has a balcony & overlook the Duomo Milan. Love the hassle free pin code in replacement of keys! Bath...

We arrived at Milan really late and tired... what a surprise to find out our hotel was amazingly beautiful, huge and comfortable apartment, very clean and “chic”. We went with our kids, 5 and 3 years old and everybody was super nice with them, even though the feel of the hotel is very adult. I would recommend to everyone going to Milan!

Again, we chose this hotel because of the location to Milan centre and to Navigli, which is one metro stop away. You can't ask for more from a hotel at the Agoda price and putting the location into the mix just improves it. We stayed at the Radisson Blu at the start of the holiday, but it's a long way out, unless a 40min tram ride is what you want when travelling to ...

The hotel was excellent. It's located near the Milan central station. The hotel serves free Maserati transport to the Duomo, you can order it in front of the hotel. The room is clean, quiet, and excellent condition. The breakfast was very delicious! I will surely come back to this hotel again on my next trip to Milan.

The hotel was unique and comfortable. We like the breakfast (though expect that it will be the same everyday) KOWA dishes were also exceptional. Basically, we had a wonderful 7 days at the hotel. We have to move around Italy for a few days and they allowed us to leave our luggage for safekeeping until our return flight. We like that all the front desk staff were very...

A great welcome and such a 5 star service! We became upgraded over something the hotel couldn't really control. (Construction outside) But they handled this really well. The food at the roof top was excellent and great service there too. An over all great experience! Extra plus to the fantastic staff!

Wonderful stay in a very well run hotel. Room, a Junior Suite, was very good, decent size with good furniture and fittings and a nice wardrobe area. The only very minor criticism was that the shower (rainfall) was over the bath, I would have preferred a separate shower cubicle for a room at this level but otherwise the room was very comfortable. The location is super...

Location, location, location!!! It's right at the hot spot. We upgraded our room and it has a large window and we could even see the "Lucky Bull" spot in the galleria from our room! Just amenities, there's no complementary bottles of water, nor kettle/coffee maker. It's seemingly not a biggie, but I realized that not having them in your room is not nice. I didn't ev...

The hotel is clean and the location is most ideal near the Brera district. Lots of interesting shops to discover especially for home décor. The staff are very helpful and it has an app that helps you to travel around Milan with a on-call concierge service. The cost of the hotel is on the high side during the Milan Design Week.

Just excellent! When we have a chance to go back Milan, we definitely stay this hotel again. This is a five stars hotel, the lobby area and of course, our room was very nice. The location is also convenient. Just 10min to walk to Central station, 25min to walk to Duomo area. When we stayed there, we didn't take a taxi. The staffs were very friendly. They all speak very...

Spacious, comfortable room. Great location, close proximity to train stations. Staff (Ron) was helpful and kind. Lift is great va 4 flight of stairs. Facilities 3* only because it's an apartment and not a hotel, but who needs pools/ restaurants/ gym when you're in the heart of Milan!

People said hotel in Milan is small and expensive, but this one totally different, very well designed, very large room and average price, staff is very nice and location just 15 minutes to Duomo and san babila on foot.. staff speak very well english and very helpfull.. all the staff, from frontliners until waiters..
Traveler impressions of Milan
We were totally impressed. Its more romantic than paris and also a shopping heaven ! what a Great city, really!!
I will definitely visit Milan again!!!! It's amazingly enjoyable staying there especially foods and brand names in every corner.
Shopping in the city was fantastic as our last stop before heading back, we did a lot of shopping both at the groceries store as well as at the designer shops.
If you have more time, I suggest you to take Bernina Express tour St. Moritz, This tour take 13 hours trip, but really worthy even you just have 1 hour to spend in St.
Even though we only stayed in Milan for 2 nights we enjoyed it, there was beautiful things to see, great shopping.
The journey by coach from Bergamo was comfortable and efficient but like all majour cities the suburbs are somewhat grim with graffiti etc but just ignore it.
Definitely go visit the Galleria di Emmanuelle and Duomo di Milano. Alike other places in Europe, watch your bags and pockets.
You feel unsafe. Taxi drives look like zombies at Centrale. Not very polite people. Train to airport is terrible (no info, no escalators, and expensive ).
Most shops outside of Milan Catheral were closed when we visited in August. It seems that only the underground railway to the World Expo was refurbished.
I went to Milan for four days and mainly aim for the EXPO. I thought the transportation is convenient but not for disable.
Generally a nice city though the costs of living for food souvenirs seem to be a little more pricey than other cities in Italy
Its not safe to walk alone nowadays, too many beggars and immigrant in milan. Shopping district near duomo is mess, full of immigrant.
Be extra careful once u are in Milano Centrale, do not trust person who offers help to carry your luggage, they ask big money later! Poor service of station's staffs :(
Very ramantic city with fashion and shopping, you can touch if you want to shopping and prefer a history place.
Nothing special, highlighly overrated and expensive, Would never visit again nor recommend it to any of my friends/family or colleagues!
a lot of stylish shop in milan. I love milan more than rome. Beautiful store everywhere. You can get amazing fragrance and shoe variety choices
Smelly, dirty. Difficult to find public toilets. Have to use toilets at the restaurants when necessary.
Milan somehow felt unsafer than Rome though both locations demand cautious eye all the time on personal belongings when out in public.
Milano has a wealth of history, it's historic buildings, Cathedrals, etc are interesting, it has a diversity of shops, food, restaurants, cafés, it is a busy city with a police presence which makes a traveller feel safe.
Milan is a very good city for fashion shopping and also fine dining, Good for people who has deep pocket.
Milan was to my surprise the most beautifullest and cleanest city we visited in Italy. The city seemed calmer than all other cities and there was so much to see.
Vibrant city.Do not visit during peak holidays - very busy. Shopping is great and markets fantastic.
Milan is a little snob but is appealing. Streets are clean and the shops are huge. I love to go back to Milan.
Milan is a city filled with many historical buildings and religious buildings too. Very fashionable city and very chic.
Sorry to say it is a snobbish city. People are not friendly and even the waiter/waitress is not helpful especially in La Rinascente.
People are ok, the food can be expensive but cheap if you know where to go! Look out for pizza joints!
It is a beautiful city with many beautiful and historical building. A shopping heaven, price for designer brands are a lot more cheaper than in Malaysia.
First impression, very unfriendly people. Not one people are smiling and the hotel staff was worse. They have to switch off the main central aircon, forcing me to open the windows and got gitten all night.

More about Milan
The Duomo, a gothic cathedral that took centuries to build, looms over a few of the most luxurious hotels in Milan. This is the world's fourth-biggest church, and it deserves all of the attention it demands. Construction on the Duomo began in the 14th century in what is now the Centro Storico, or historic center.
The Milan shopping scene is north of the Duomo. Four major commercial avenues converge on what many would say is the world's best shopping district. Chic designer flagship stores and boutiques are widespread, and fashion exhibitions are staged on local catwalks throughout the year.
Like much of Italy, Milan is a city rich in world-class art such as the Last Supper of Leonardo da Vinci.
Hotels in Milan fill quickly most times of the year, so booking early is essential.
Milan Malpensa Airport is the major international gateway in Milan, but the city also operates the regional hub, Linate Airport. A popular alternative for those traveling through Europe is to take the high-speed train to Stazione Centrale, north of the city center.
