Find Hotels in Montpellier, France

nice hotel outside of Montpellier with designer furniture (nice but not of really high quality) and AC was broken. I did not like, that the sheets are too short and leave the bed at night time and that the service maid regrets to change 3 medium towels without demanding 6 EUR. Up to now I could not find out why they charged 4 € extra in cash for any local tax without any receipt. But we do not complain - what you pay is what you get.

We had room #17 at the very end of the building. First we were given a wrong WIFI password so had to go back to front desk at 11pm. We were able to connect but got a very weak signal that was loosing connection every minute or so. Signal was perfect in the lobby though. It is not admissible nowadays that a professional organisation such as Appart Hôtels save a few lousy bucks on internet access points! Shall NOT recommend.

So handy for the train station especially as we were travelling from Australia with quite a lot of luggage. Just a short walk to nice restaurants and shopping. Montpellier is a wonderful city to visit with lots of classic and contemporary French architecture.

Location was good for stop over. Nothing nearby . Can walk to riverside for dining though. Rooms were of decent size and clean

This hotel is in a great location and fortunately we had a room facing the garden so there was no traffic noise. We were also grateful that we managed to get our hire car parked in the undercover car park as there was a massive hail storm while we were there which could have caused damage if it had been left outside. Lovely walk into the centre of Montpellier - about 15 minutes - and lots of modern style restaurants nearby on the banks of the river. The staff were extremely welcoming and friendly and we were pleased that it is a no smoking hotel. The room was lovely and clean. The tram is also very nearby - just a few minutes away.

We stayed several times in this hotel (which was a Sofitel before recent conversion into Pullman brand, same group). It is comfortable, nicely located, staff is nice, food is ok (tried breakfast only), swimming pool on roof is a plus. However, could be refreshed somewhat as furnishing is getting old (but it seems that Pullman brand regularly reworks its new locations... so keep an eye). Price is OK, given the location and quality (not easy to find a really good hotel without surprises in Montpellier...).

We booked this hotel for 3 persons with 3 single beds. Whereas they have not like this room. But never informed in website as well as Agoda. Agoda also not informed to this hotel about our booking. At night we are in terrible position.

I didn't know when I booked, but this is a no-service hotel. There is no room cleaning (unless you ask and pay for it). The room had a comfortable bed, but otherwise bare-bones -- there wasn't a small chair, a tiny desk, a water heater (but no tea or coffee!). Sparingly staffed, but the few attendant staff were friendly and helpful. It's biggest plus is its location -- opposite the main railway station (but in a quiet street) , and a few minute's walk from the main plaza, the old city, and other attractions.

The New Du Midi Hotel in Montpellier had received great reviews so I was not surprised - but very pleased - when I found it to be one of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed in. It boasts a perfect position right on Place la Comedie and the staff were so incredibly helpful and eager to make my stay as pleasurable as possible. The rooms are big and the hotel walls a delightful canvas of unique artwork. i would recommend it to anyone visiting Montpellier

small simple hotel probably best suited to those on a budget and not requiring any frills the evening meal was cooked and served by one very industrious lady who deserved a medal for keeping up with all the diners

When we checked in, the hotel were going through some issues having our room ready. Front of house managed this well though and sent us upstairs to have a drink which was for FREE due to our inconvenience - thank you. They also took our bags straight away and said they would let us know when the room was ready. We waited a while though with no communication so had to leave as we had to meet friends. Having only stayed one night was not sufficient for us to know but hopefully with another visit we can get more of an insight into your facilities. 3.5 stars for service though :)

Everything was good, but my credit card didn't work on the reception. Friendly staff, tasty tea, clean little room, quiet place. The main minus is that you can't sleep long in the morning because you hear you neighbors.

My only issue with the hotel is the noise from the road which is very close. Another point to note is that it is not easy to enter the hotel car park when approaching from the center of Montpelier, as you cannot cross the solid white line of the road outside the hotel. You have to go around a very large and busy roundabout and as there are no signs to the hotel on the roundabout I missed the turn. I turned too early which meant I had to travel 2-3 kilometers to return to the roundabout!

The lobby and hallways are dreary and need to be refreshed; our “Executive” room was on the small side and also needs improvement, except for the bedding, which was pristine. Helpful staff and good location.

When you arrive in Montpellier your first thought is what a beautiful city. The city is laid out nicely making it very pedestrian friendly. The cafes and restaurants are close by, and they have a beautiful park setting with lots of entertainment going on at all times. The only thing that is a shame, that we found is the city smells like one big kitty box, and it is very dirty. The hotel itself however is clean and the staff was very friendly. The rooms are small but adequate for a one night stay.

We were there for 2 days after an overnight flight to Paris and TGV to Montpellier. This hotel was walkable from the train station and easy access to Place de la Comedie where all the action is. Bed was comfortable and the breakfast was generous. After a 3rd floor walk-up in another city, we were happy to have an elevator to handle our luggage. It is also air conditioned although we did not need it. Much cheaper than other hotels in the area.

The hotel is new and modern. However we were disappointed to have to pay an extra 20eur per person to use the spa facilities or the gym. The wifi connection in the room was also very poor. These are the main criteria we looked for when booking this hotel so we were fairly dissatisfied

if i have more time, i will go around to look at this place, i think i didn't use lot of function here. the service is better than other hotel in France, next time if i go to france again, this hotel will be my first choice!

pleasantly surprised. was given a one bedroom studio after booking a standard single room. very spacious, clean and luxurious. kitchen included. tram stop right in front of hotel so easy to get to and from train station. staff were exceptionally courteous and accommodating.

The room was clean The curtain were see through it was so bright in the morning, I wish it had dark blinds option too for a good night sleep The swimming pool was empty The outdoor seating looked dirty not what you see on their website

We stayed overnight one night as we had to fly early from Montpellier airport, just 9 km away. An easy stroll into the city, nice dinner and drinks just around the corner, whilst still relatively quiet. Very new, modern hotel.

Great location, you can get to the centre by walking. It's a bit small though, bathroom was tiny.

Very simple, clean and main stream hotel. No frills but for about 80E you can't beat. Coffee and breakfast marginal.

A room like this for me would be acceptable if it was priced around EUR 30, not 70. Reception was very friendly, but the room was of a bad quality as it had a (locked) door to the next room which made me hear everything from the couple next door, they were not extremely noisy but hearing music and conversations (and everything else) was quite disturbing. Besides that the sink in the bathroom had a drain blockage. I would not recommend this place.

Basic room that could use a refurb, seemed overpriced even allowing for high season. Pluses are good location and friendly, helpful management.

My fault for not noticing this is a motel before booking. The location is quite far from center so if you're not driving, don't think about it. That was my first motel experience but I would say it is quite clean and decent for a motel. Fine for a night or two but would not consider it again.

Staff helpfully and nice atmosphere.. The hotel is located in the heart of Montpellier but I did not hear any nosy tram or cars in spit of location. My room was located away from the street. Room clean. Since it was a price hotel I would also expect the things to be very fine.

Used the hotel for FISE. If your going there is a good location, was good value and enjoyed room 420 :)
