We stayed for 2 nights at this beautiful property just on the banks of Lake Naivasha. The old world charm has been preciously preserved and well maintained cottages had all modern amenities to make our stay very comfortable. The staff were very polite and efficient and special mention of Mr. Rajeev the General Manager who took extra effort to search and locate the wallet of my son left behind in the room and even organised to send to us in Nairibi the next morning.Who can imagine such a gesture in today's world and such small things do make the place special among so many peers in the small town of Naivasha . I woulld recommend everyone visiting there to stay and enjoy the great hospitality of Lake Naivasha Country Club and return with everlasting memories.

I wanted a 3 adult room only a double was available. When I called they said they would be happy to add one extra bed to the room. Overall, it came to a $80 per night addition for a full board adult. It was delightful and the staff were particularly pleasant and accommodating (Especially Samuel!, Jackson, and Mr. Kamal). *Location*: Please note, Kiboko (meaning Hippo in Swahili) is part of the Naivasha Country Club. Directions can be tricky as there are no signs for the Luxury Tent (just follow signs to Naivasha Country Club). Google maps does not show the road on the map, either. Call 0703 048200 or 0703 048300 for directions. The last 500m access road is a bit tricky, but manageable even for a lower vehicle such as a car. They said they are in the process of fixing the roads. *Dining*: They allow guests the option of dining at the luxury camp (with the most breathtaking views of the lake/ hippos and eagle) or the buffet at the country club.Opt for the private dining, so much better!

It is a great location, amazing views from whichever side you get the room. Staff are friendly and always ready to help. We got a family villa which had great views, kids had their own rooms. We loved the place. The food needs a bit of change and variety, wasn’t really that fun but ok. The last day of our stay had great food though. Booking online is just a downturn since they have not connected their system well online, we had issues with ours when we had to wait for quite a while for them to be able to find the booking and payment details that we had done. If they can improve on this then all will be perfect. All in all, we had amazing time. Would go back again. I recommend.

Naivasha Kongoni Lodge sits on the higher end of options around Naivasha but it's well worth it if you're looking for somewhere spacious and comfortable to sleep. The premises are massive with a host of large cabins dotted along trails that weave through the grounds. There's a surprisingly well-kept pool, a nice outlook to watch the sunrise / sunset, and a recreation room as well, though the latter only features an aging pool table and darts board. The food is quite good too but it's mostly Western so you'd be advised to look elsewhere if you're seeking more local fare. It's a bit of a drive from Naivasha town, Lake Naivasha itself, and Hell's Gate Park but the reception is more than happy to arrange transportation for you. Also, there's not much nearby and they close the gates around 6 PM due to hippos. If you're keen to leave the premises past that time, you'll have to hire transportation

Excellent staff with a smile. Rustic charm that somebody put some money into initially building this place, but it is definitely run down now. Our bed was very comfortable and included a high quality mosquito net. Swimming pool was empty, so check ahead of time if you really need it. Place is south of town on mau mauha road, far enough from road to be quiet. If you head south from town, watch for small rectangular yellow sign on right and small rectangular grey sign on the left. Located on left side of road. One and a half stars, good value for the low price.

Staff were not nearly as friendly as the staff at Kiboko Luxury Tent Camp (right next door where we stayed the previous 2 nights). Also, 500 US Dollar and 2 000 Kenyan Shillings disappeared from my purse.

Poor options for food, no hot water at breakfast for tea or coffee. No hot water for showers.
