Traveling to South Africa? Find Nelspruit hotels

We stayed in a Superior Family room. The room is big, and very pretty - Comfortable beds, big bathroom with a bathtub and a shower. Housekeeping kept the room clean. All staff at La Roca were very friendly and helpful. Natasha checked us in after 9pm, and Thea took care of us every morning at breakfast. Breakfast was always delicious, and the coffee was great too. :)

I have been staying in this hotel since I has a child of 11 years old, now after 18 years, I bring my children to stay in there as well. Whenever I cannot find an availability in it, I just cancel my trip to Nelspruit to a later date. The reception staff are great, they closely listens to your comments and fulfill your needs as much as possible.

Our first time in Nelspruit and what an amazing welcome and stay we had at Jorns Guest House, such a peaceful atmosphere, will highly recommend this place to anyone and we will definitely be back!!!!!!! Thank you for the amazing service, you are not 4 star quality, but 5 star quality indeed!!!!

We really enjoyed our stay at Town Lodge Mbombela. Their facilities are well geared for family travelers. Simple and yet practical for the rates offered. The staff went all out to accommodate our requests and kudos to all Room Only Rate makes a lot of sense for budget sensitive travelers. I will definitely pop in next time i am in the area, you really made our trip worth while

Excellent, very quiet. We appreciate the silence of the hotel. A nice breakfast prepared by the owner. A place were we could come back if we return to South Africa.

We had 4 different rooms and each one had its problems. Nothing major just odds and ends. There were not enough towels on arrival, the hot water took FAR too long to come out, there were no mats at the shower door, there was no glass at the hand basin, there were not enough hooks or rails for the towels, the bedside lamps didn't have their own plugs next to the beds, the breakfast was a bit poor (toast was cold, a cheap juice).

We just came back from a 3,5 weeks South Africa trip and Utopia in Africa was certainly one of the most beautiful places we have stayed at. The whole house is full of art, creativity, colors, which is truly inspiring. For us, it was the perfect cozy place to wind down and relax after some busy days in the Kruger Park. The hosts were welcoming and we had some interesting conversations. The two dogs are very gentle and stay in the background if you don´t approach them to cuddle them. Another highlight was the breakfast. We will always stay at Utopia in Africa if we come to Nelspruit again...

Wonderful hotel! Room was spacious and very clean. Great ambience in the hotel. Staff was exceptional. We arrived at 1am in the morning and we had the warmest reception from the receptionist. Breakfast was fantastic! Would recommend a stay here .

I spent only a few hours there for the night, but if you whant aplacecto relax it iscthe place

we had a perfect time at Hippo Lodge! the owners and staff made it even more perfect, they took excellent care of us, arranged a tour for us even though it was requested very last minute from our side etc. the food provided was delicious, the bar and restaurant area on a perfect spot, looking at the river so that you might see hippos (and we did). So simply all in all a great place and we will definitely come back if we will ever go to South Africa again.

The rooms are very comfortable, spacious and clean. however the hotel needs a bit of upkeep. The pipes are old and make a noise after flushing or running bath. whilst the dining area was clean and comfortable We warmed up some food in the kitchen and the kitchen needs a serious upgrade. It really brought the standard of the place down. We didn't dine there so i can't comment on the food but overall i would recommend Sunset manor as great value for money.

We were greeted by Ephian you was very obliging and helped us settle in. There was a problem with the air con and immediately came to sort it out. As it could not be fixed he put us in another room which was better and he checked everything was working correctly before he bid us good evening. The lodge was very easy to find and was very clean. The room had fresh linen and the decor was good. The kitchen staff were very obliging and as we had an early start they were up and breakfast had been laid. The chocolate brownies had been freshly made by the chef and they were very nice. Overall the service we received was very good, If I had to find a problem it was the metal staircase and the number we had to climb. We would definately consider staying again if we visited Nelspruit, thank you for your hospitality.

Wow what an awesome experience. We drove past all the houses and drove up into this green forest, a little boutique hotel on 10 hectare. Since we arrived there we were spoilt. We had dinner under the open skylight with the best food ever. The chef really knows what he is doing. All staff was very helpful and friendly. We really experienced a piece of heaven there and were well rested the next morning.

The owners are absolutely lovely. They really try to help you. Btw foreigners don't need to pay a downpayment in advance. We got slightly confused with that. The owner gave us a map for Kruger for rent which was very helpful with all the small routes. The rooms are very clean and well equipped. The common area has also kitchen utilities. My friends also enjoyed the pool. Great place, highly recommend it.

Agoda did not inform the lodge that I had booked but they Kobus and Nellie went out of their way to accommodate me. I enjoyed my stay and will defiantly go back when I am in Nelspruit.

DEFINITELY no complaints at all. Loved the spacious room, the quiet setting and the hospitality of the staff was second to none. I will definitely return to that guest house every time I have to stay over in Nelspruit. Being able to request what you would like for dinner was also a big plus.

I will deffinetely recommend a frind here, the place was clean and neat, the rooms were big enough. The bed was more comfortable, Place is not noisy at all, good for relaxing , if you lolking for a quite place.Only if they can change linen and the bedding on weekends,everything can be super. Other than that we enjoyed our stay.

Really nice host, really nice room, great value. For what it's worth, they have wifi now and it works beautifully. Will definitely go back next time I'm in town.

We only stayed one night but Hummingbirds Nest is well run with, professional service, excellent amenities, and is overall good value for money.

On arrival we were told the place is fully booked. No room for us. Staff said they did not received confirmation of payment from Adoga. Later they recognized there mistake after blaming other staff . They are absolutely disorganized, unprofessional and an owner who is very arrogant. We struggled for more than two hours to get our money refunded after we had to threatened them with social media and the first call I’ve made to let the ball rolling. Never ever in line for such an experience again. Not nice to be away from home, money taken for accommodation, no room available and late afternoon and no place to lay your head?!!!!!

The Protea Hotel Nalspruit is reasonably priced and ideally located for both the Nelpruit airport and the Kruger National Park. The hotel rooms are clean, well sized and reasonably priced, though an in-room fridge or mini-bar would be a useful addition. The hotel is ideally located just off the N4 on the outskirts of Nelspruit when arriving from the airport and has plenty of secure customer parking. It as also an ideal stop over point before visiting the Kruger National park, with the Malelene gate only a 74km drive from the hotel.

we arrived the nelspruit after a long 30+ hour traveling schedule. however after finagling arriving to mariu guest house we were greeted by one of the owners. she was very friendly and really made us welcome considering our long travel ordeal. breakfast was one of the highlights of our stay as it was set up in a nice room with balcony attached to the house.

Dave, the owner, & his staff were friendly. We did a 3 day/2 night tour in Kruger NP & Blyde river canyon tour with Dave and had a wonderful experience. Dave is very knowledgeable & passionate about Kruger. A car is a necessity for staying in Nelspruit as accommodation is spread out from city centre.

dirk and riana were great hosts. not forgetting their charming dog emma. my fiance and i spent one night. we arrived pretty late in the night and left the next morning but dirk&rianaa were friendly like we'd been there for ages. definitely a home away from home.
