Always stayed here when we come to New Plymouth. It has a spa pool and probably one of the better hotel in New Plymouth. Room is huge as we had the family room.

We arrived late on our check in date and they have the person in charge to wait for us even though the reception was closed. The room we got have a complete mini kitchen with a dishwasher as well. They have a gym a few blocks away for you to use for free. Parking on site. Convenient store can be find just within a few steps away. Farmers shopping mall is opposite. The bed is comfy. Shower is excellent. Almost a perfect hotel in New Plymouth. Highly recommend

It had heated indoor pool, and spa. The room was roomy and can fit 3 adults easily, ground coffee & plunger was provided, it had comfortable feather pillows, and being on 1st floor, we had good view of all the hotel, and can watch patrons taking their dogs for a walk. There was plum tree next to restaurant which was dropping lovely sweet and juicy plums on the ground, great to eat while fresh. The stay has left great impression of New Plymouth.

my friend & i had a great 2 nites stay at quest. the room was very clean & new. the apartments were very centrally located and the staff were superbly helpful! chris, the gentleman on duty on the 2nd nite we were thee, even called up soem restaurnats to help us book a table for dinner! the lady on duty (i forgot her name!)on easter monday evening when we checked in, was equally helpful. fantastic!

We found the owners to be very friendly, chatting away with us while booking in which, after hours in a car, was refreshing and rewarding. The room is clean and immaculately presented. The bathroom is a definite bonus! The shower has great water pressure which soothed our necks and backs to no end. The kids loved the selection of channels (50!) especially the Disney channel. Location is very central to New Plymouth which is great for dining out...recommend Crowded House. All up, we would definitely stay again, longer next time. Highly recommended, thanks heaps!

A terrific location in the heart of New Plymouth and close to everything; the coach interchange is nly 50 metres away. Comfy and clean. Super-helpful, staff. Plenty of nearby eating options. Good, lively pub right next door. A real bargain with a nice, friendly vibe. No parking at the hostel but the lot around the corner is free between 5pm and 9am; $2 an hour thereafter. Just a few little things to point out: The place has an odd arrangement whereby the ensuite showers for rooms 2 and 3 are separated only by flimsy shower curtains; it adds fresh meaning to showering with a friend! I wasn't over-concerned myself but it could give the unsuspecting or nervous a fright! Also, the TV remote took a lot of fiddling to switch between stations. There is only so much religious programming one can bear to watch!

As we drove up to this hotel we knew we had made the right choice. It is very modern and tastefully decorated. Staff are friendly and well trained.The location is perfect for all activities.We enjoyed the bikes that were available and for first time visitors to New Plymouth, the staff were very helpful with information about everything from dining to what we should see in their town. We were most impressed with King and Queen and can highly recommend this classy hotel to all travellers.

Loved staying here with my bestie (whose pretty fussy). Apart from the distance from town (on foot as there are no buses) it was still a great place to stay. Staff were accessible at all hours via conferencing which was different but not a bad experience at all. Would def. stay again if I had private transport. Excellent facilities and super spacious and clean too.

Lyn was amazing - unit was very clean and spacious. Kitchen has everything!, Shower is amazing and has a bath to soak in. Has the most amazing creek with eels to feed! Better than any inner city hotel if your travelling with kids :-)

We were upgraded to a Presidential Suite which we really appreciate very well. The staffs are very accommodating. Though the room is not that clean (a bit dusty), we had a great time especially since we have our baby with us. Definitely staying in this hotel when we come back to New Plymouth for vacation.

Once you arrive New Plymouth you can pick up a rental car at airport and then drive to hotel. The hotel has free car park for the guest. Along the Devon Road East there were a lot of restaurants for you to choose. When you drive to the CBD area. Take a time to walk the coastal walkway and visit the i-information office. Then drive to Mt Egmont National Park to enjoy the natural beauty of this area before you finish your journey.

Lovely place to spend the night! Was upgraded to a bigger room but the ceiling was peeling and yellowish so didn't really felt comfortable just looking at it while sleeping. However the staff was friendly and helpful, there were washing and drying facilities, internet/wifi which were free, free rental of the bicycle to cycle around and many more! Marbles buffet located at the hotel was awesome and well worth the money and we totally enjoyed it! (Reservations required as it is mostly packed) Overall I enjoyed the stay and would recommend this hotel to anyone that is staying at New Plymouth

I ramdomly check into this Motel due to its location which was near to where i was going to spend my next 4 days conducting a seminar. It so happen that thsi Motel was centrally located in town wherby you are currounded by 3 hypermarkets, lots of bars and restraunts. this Motel has excellent facilities such as hot pool, laundry room, internet and best of all lots of cable TV channels to cater for your need.I woukd recommend this Motel to travellers who are in New Plymouth for business and leasure.

Stay was fine. Still enough room with 2 ports cots. The only thing I can fault was I originally asked about hiring ports cots b4 I booked and was told they were free. So then I booked via agosa then was told they are no longer free as I didn't book direct. Then on arrival I was told I was inky allowed 2 towels as the other 2 guests were not paying. However from day 2 I was given 4 towels. I was charged the day after I left without my knowledge $50nzd. Something for which was damaged in the room so I understand that but I was also charged a little bit if money for changing my bedding at one stage during my stay as something got spilt on it. I think that's a bit wrong!

Well located in easy walking distance of major city attractions and waterfront, the staff were gracious and approachable, the rooms comfortable and well appointed, the decor rather plain, there was both a Gideon bible and a verse of the day compendium should I have needed Christian inspiration. I had some difficulty locating a gym I could use casually and at hours that accommodated my schedule (the nearby Jetts was very handy but could only be used casually during started hours from 10 am on for example), eventually I found Rampage, which in addition to the hilarious name suited my purposes perfectly and was a three block walk. Perhaps some established arrangement with a local gym might help? Otherwise very satisfactory.

Very good small country city motel situation. Next time I'm in New Plymouth, I know where I'm staying. The room was beyond spacious, comfortable in every aspect. Not miserly with tea and coffee issues. A fully functional kitchenette. Laundry on the premises. Large screen T.V., not the sort of poky token gesture I normally get met by. More features than I have time to mention, along with a fully cooked breakfast delivered to your room, and all delivered with service standard rarely met with.

This was a well appointed, spotlessly clean motel with very friendly staff. We were granted a late check out with no fuss at all. Shower was fantastic and the bed comfortable. It is about a 5min drive into the center of New Plymouth so very close to everything. We would definitely stay here again.

My family of 6 adults and 1 child needed a night's stay at New Plymouth. It was cozy enough and clean as well. Location was quite central and very near to Taranaki Volcano and Pukekura Park. The staff was helpful and friendly too. Very value for money.

Very friendly and helpful staff. The place was clean, warm and cosy. Lovely location with great outlook. I certainly will be back. The only negative aspect has been the driving direction on the hostels website. Coming from the North. The hostel is by far easier to find by just following a basic New Plymouth road map than the route described on the hostels website.

Due to jetlag after a long, long journey we turned up on the wrong day. The hosts went out of their way to accommodate us and we liked it so much we stayed an extra night.

Just Gorgeous. Host and Hostess are so kind and friendly. Our room with private bathroom is so comfortable and clean. Mini kitchen is very helpful. What is more, spa in the garden is wonderful. Spacious room, great location close to the coastal walk and the wind wand, plenty of restaurant and shops around. The Salt restaurant on the first floor is one of the best in New Plymouth. Trust me, I've been around. Only downside, parking space can be a bit of a challenge if you come back late.

It was very comfortable. Had a small problem with the TV but the staff was very helpful and obliging.

Awesomely comfortable bed, hostes were extremely accomodating and pleasant. Thoroughly enjoyed our experience. Couldn't have asked for more.

I had a really wonderful time staying at this B&B! The bed was so comfortable, there was good breakfast (Sausages, eggs, cereals), and you can have all the coffee, & tea all you want all day long! The wifi was also fast, and worked. The bathroom was sharing, but it still felt like your own bathroom as you could just lock the door and it felt like yours. Not to mention, the whole place was spotlessly clean, including the bathrooms! The hosts, Brad, & Fujiko were very wonderful, nice people who make you feel at home! The only thing you might need here is, a car, as it's nice to have a car in this area - you could easily go to Mt. Taranaki anytime you want, and explore all the hidden beaches of Urenui, & Pukearuhe. You could easily park your car outside the B&B. Overall had an awesome time! Will stay here again!

The studio was spotless, up to date, comfortable and roomy. The furnishings looked quite new. We had room to spread out. The kitchenette didn't have a hotplate, just microwave, jug and toaster. It's a few blocks' walk from centre of town but reasonably convenient location and very quiet. Staff were friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.

The stay at this home was delightful. Very nice room and bathroom, and the home is located in lovely rural surrounds. Although it is a bit difficult to find the home and it is a bit far out of town. The hosts were very gracious and welcoming. Unfortunately there is no wifi or iron in the room. But everything else is is perfect including free breakfast.

For me, the best value for money stay in New Plymouth. You can tell there is so much thought and detail put in to the hotel through the furnishings, the decor, and each room. Also very clean and one of the rare hotels here that offers complimentary water. Lynn the manager, is a very nice and approachable lady. I had the best stay here (I stayed in 4 hotels in New Plymouth), so far this is the best. Would stay here again and again. My best recommendation so far, if you like quirky and unique boutique hotels, and not some generic hotel room.
