This city is better than I expected and it has the combination of old and new things in one place. You can enjoy the scenery of the river with a marvellous city icon the millennium bridge or shop till you drop at the city centre.
Newcastle is a vibrant city, steeped in history. There streets are littered with interesting architecture.
Great place for seeing concerts at one of the major venues. Quayside very attractive with Sunday markets.
Lovely city. Easy access to parts of the city by metro but most interesting places are within walking distance.
