My wife and I really enjoyed our visit in Nha Trang. There were a lot of excellent spas (recommend sen spa).
We also went snorkeling. There is a beautiful coral reef there (make sure you bring a wet suit if you are sensitive to colder water). There are many excellent restaurant to eat at as well!
nha trang is a great place to go for traveller who just want to relax on the beach, or possibly hit up a nice spa for the day.
Have to try the spas you will make you go back for more
Nha trang was great but not enough English speaking staff. The beaches are lovely restaurant and bars are good
Nha Trang is beautiful, especially if you're staying right along the water in one of the large hotels like the Intercontinental or The Best Western.
It looks very much like Oahu, especially Wikiki. The weather was great and the beach beautiful, though the water can be a bit rough. My biggest problem with Nha Trang is the quality of tourists who choose to vacation there. Many Russians from Siberia go there, and maybe some Siberians are friendly, but not the ones who travel to Nha Trang. Second, mainland Chinese flock to Nha Trang and they can be equally demanding and loud. The quality of the tourists ruined my impressions of Nha Trang. I felt very bad for the service folks who have to deal with them everyday.
give it a miss. it's grotty and unfriendly. locals just want to fleece you of every available cent. Russians everywhere with lots of money, so they have trained locals to expect to lighten your wallets.
not a friendly place. save your money and go somewhere nice.
For me Nha Trang is really over rated, it is a pleasant place for a quick rest while on the road! I got sick of been spoken to in Russian and having to look for an English menu.
The beach is nothing really special seen better all over the world! Other than the over rated beach there are two sights of interest which you see because you are there, you wouldn't go out of your way to see them. Personally I would never go back I would choose another place! If you want the beach go to Thailand.
nha trang beach is very good. view is excellent !! i recommend relax on the sunbed. sunbed price 30,000 ~ 50,000 vnd.
Wonderful city with clean environment, nice weather, fresh air, beautiful beach and good food. City tour, sea tour: should by from hotel, shouldn't buy from small service (the price of small service can be cheaper but the quality is not as good as one provided by hotel)
Nha trang is the best city with beutiful moutain and beach view . Food are very good . Highly recomend for everyone to visit here .
Its a good getaway for friends and families and also for couple. You can rent a scoot to drive around the city which is not very big.
During the day you can make trips to the islands around for sea activities like snorkeling. A good place to enjoy sun, sea and relax.
Love nhatrang just one problem to many Russians rude people with no manners shame on them if that's the way they are why would anyone go to Russia horrible people
Many Russian people visit Nha Trang to experience the beach & social life. Businesses in the south of the city often cater to them specifically.
There are plenty of other shops, restaurants etc where other visitors & locals can experience truly Vietnamese offerings.
Nhatrang is nice city with many restarant where you can enjoy seafood ,local food like "nem nuong", bun cha ca,futhermore you can drink a mud of beer with 1,2 usd.
The long beach with white sand where you can lie down all day for bathing.now the beach is so clean , the aware of protecting the enviroment is high Ps seafood restaurant :Hanh Xuan restaurant is cheap and honest,
I have been in Nha Trang on many occasions and been around most parts of Vietnam. Nha Trang has its own character its not over populated and big and you can find locals and visitors from all part of the world as well Vietnamese tourist.
Nha Trang are my favorite city and a place to live.
Nha Trang has beautiful beaches- the most ones I have known. Sea food here cheap and delicious. People are beliable and frendly.
People also kind, was a pleasant trip. Natural scenery is so cool. It may be a nice sea resort town. The price is cheap.
A great city with stunning view of beaches, islands, interesting outdoor activities and beautiful ancient ruins.
The people is friendly and warmly.
Nha Trang is one of most popular destinations in Vietnam as here you can really get very clean ocean as well long sandy beaches.
City is growing up quiet quickly and the government also take a lot of care for cleaning the public areas. Many good restaurants you can find all over the beach but it is better to go more inside the city and enjoy local real Vietnam style food. For young people here you can get lots of western kind of fun with many night clubs and so popular KARAOKE ! There are 2 islands to visit one is Vinpearl land with great park area and some role coaster and gaming palace as well nice shopping mall along hills on island. You can stay in 5 star hotel and in the morning wake up to play a game of golf with your friends. All over the city you can find many tourist offices as well souvenir shops. Around every corner you can stop and drink so popular ca phe Vietnam style and get some good smoothie or cold fresh coconut. It is also great destination for parents with little kids.
This is a beach resort and only that. The bars are geared at drinking and food is a necessity not a nicety.
Stunning and enormous beach. Heavy Russian influence in the area so signs are mostly in Vietnamese, Russian and then english
The people from this city is friendly and nice compared to other big city like Saigon or Hanoi. We love the people here.
Our stay in Nha Trang was excellent except our choice of Hotel. We enjoyed the relaxed life style and lovely restaurants and beachside bars
When we were there, the sky was overcast and this lasted for 3 days with a little drizzle on the side.
Quite a let down as we were hoping to have clear skies and a picturesque beach. We went in Nov-Dec'14, maybe a wrong time to go??
Russian dominated beach playground. Airport way too far south now. Even it was deserted they made our plane fly circles for 30 min as they are just not organised.
Shabby highway to town. Pollution levels killed much fun. Reasonable council pool.
Awesome beach city in south-central Vietnam. Awesome food and great place for couples looking for a getaway.
Nha Trang beach is one of the most beautiful beaches in vietnam. The water is blue and simply gorgeous, not only to look at, but to swim in.
And its very close to dining facilities, as well as other amenities.
Rooms spotlessly clean, great location very quiet. From the hotel to the beach it take about 3 minutes, and many restaurant around here.
We have a cheesecake from staff on my birthday, I was surprised and happy. Thank you so much , I will recommend this hotel for my friend and my family, we will comeback here on next trip.
This hotel would have to be in the top 10 hotels I have stayed in around the world. The room was so nice, comfortable and modern, everything was clean, the bed, especially the baby cot for my baby was great.
The breakfast was wonderful, Its as really big selection of Asian and Western foods I was impressed.” Thank all staff at Victorian Nha trang, we will come back soon !!!
Nha Trang is a well-known beach destination and it did not disappoint us. Due to its location, it also has fresh and affordable seafood in abundance.
The people seem used to foreigners and are generally friendly, although not many speak English. We spent 2 nights there, and was glad for the experience.
The beach is wonderful in Nha Trang, clean sand and cool water, but do not expect white beaches and cristal clear blue water! It is just a nice beach.
The city itself is packed by hotels and restaurants, sightseeing is poor. Shopping is also very limited and expensive. There are plenty of good restaurants, but quite expensive for Vietnam, as Nha Trang is just a touristic area. There are also some nightlife and clubbing. Go for the beach, not for the rest of Nha Trang.
I wasn't too keen on the city, maybe because after coming from the beautiful and cultural Hoi An , it looked far too new and modern for my liking.
Having said that, I had quite a good time seeing the Cham Towers, and having an afternoon of relaxation in the mud baths / mineral springs at I trang. Night market was disappointingly small, and got ripped off on the price of crab (500.000 kg) in a local restaurant (nearly double the price of here in Da Lat - when it is brought in locally) find that highly irritating, but suppose I should have researched prices before I ate. 2 days would be easily sufficient, not least because of the fact that Europeans are heavily outnumbered by Russians and it starts grating after a while!
