Paris hotels & places to stay

1K Hotel was a great hotel in Paris, especially with all the amenities and modern decor. My only caveats with this hotel would be 1) the service from the attached restaurant 2) the maid service and 3) the television. When we went to the restaurant to ask what the vegan/vegetarian options were (as we booked this hotel specifically because there were noted options) the hostess was downright rude. I don't think she understood what we were asking, but rather than try to help or understand, she simply said "no" and walked away. We were shocked. Secondly, we put a Do Not Disturb sign on our door for the four night, five days we were here. On the fourth day, we were in our room and heard a banging at the door. It was the maid and she kept banging until we let her in and she started cleaning! Finally, we had issues with the movies on the TV that front desk couldn't help with and said was broken. Tons of free movies to watch and none could be played.

Friendly staff and welcome The Maison is not as big as some Grand hotels in Paris but that makes it so lovely relaxed. Great fresh design, small but nice Spa and a decent size pool 🏊‍♂️ to swim. Location location location is fantastic We will come back

Location : less than 5 mins walk from metro station..one station away from eifiel tower..there r always ppl walking around the area at night so i fell safe all the time despite coming b at 12 midnight Staff : very helpful, and polite..they are very attentive to ur request/query.. Room : slightly small and compact, BUT its very clean and comfortable...the HOT water is readly available and thats enuff for me. Overall : apart from the ‘small’ room, which i guess most hotels in paris are, this is a highly recomended hotel

To find a nice hotel in Paris with no sky rocket prices, space, luxury and comfort is very hard until we stayed here! The price is pretty good for a total luxury hotel. The room is very good in size with a very elegant decoration. The bed is amazing as well. The staff including the concierge and bell boy is very friendly and professional. As a favor they kept our bigger suitcases for 2 days so we could make a road trip in a small car with no hesitation. The propriety is amazing, extremely well located just 1 minute walking from the line 1 metro. The view from the rooms is amazing and very Parisienne to the Arc the Triomphe Congratulations to the hotel and the hotel staff! Do not hesitate to stay here.

We stayed at this hotel on July 14 to watch the firework of France Victory day. This hotel was really nice to enjoy watching fireworks in room and I'm willing to recommend this hotel if you wanna see the whole paris from the top.

Delighted to share the experience of one of the very good properties in prime location of Paris, Hotel Balzac. With just couple of minutes of action, it was an excellent location, where one never missed any action in the heart of Paris, Champs Elysees. Our room was comfortable and quite clean. Staff was very cordial and prompt in their service. It was a good breakfast but the breakfast space was something that can be worked on as it is a small place right next to reception, which would be better if expanded. It was just a two-three minutes walk from the metro station and well connected to the entire town. Overall, a very good experience and would totally recommend it to all looking to stay in the heart of Paris.

Hotel was not too big but it was definitely clean. At the lobby, they had fresh fruits and tea and coffee, available to all the guests. Receptionist was nice and even gave us some suggestions to fully enjoy our first time in Paris. Room was a little too small but the bathroom was huge and nice. They had some pretty good toiletries and a really nice showerhead. Bed was the comfiest we've had in our entire Euro trip. Room was complete with a coffee maker, chocolates and biscuits. Location was a little far from the attractions but we didnt mind taking long walks because of the nice weather. There were also a lot of nice bistros and pattisseries around the hotel.

Hotel was located near to many of the hotspots (e.g. Galeries Lafayette Haussmann, Printemps Haussmann, Paris Opera and etc) in Paris with walking distance. Basic amenities were available in the hotel and there are convenient store within 3 minutes walking distance from the hotel. However, service provided by one of the staff was not that friendly. Requested whether there is other available room after found out that the door cannot be locked properly but was being rejected without checking for the availability. Overall still satisfy with everything.

Love this staff, all rockstars. Helpful and super friendly. This was my general experience in France, but it was even more so at this hotel. The room was small, like most hotels, and besides the very stylish decor (which I love), the layout was so good that it felt twice as large as it looked. Meaning we were easily able to get stuff out of our way and relax. Great bathroom and amenities. Super good looking lobby and stairs. Also, it smells great there. They have a branded set of scents and they where very pleasing. (Of course that’s a matter of taste) Great coffee shops, Monop, and IKEA near by so some cheap necessities. Overall I was very happy with every aspect of the stay. I didn’t have breakfast, but it looked like it would be good. Even the 2 star hotels had the best croissants.

We really enjoyed our stay! It was a perfect place for families with kids. There is an amazing indoor water park, complete with a play structure and water slides. There is also a foot court, bar, playground and play area all in one spot (something for everyone)! The hotel is very close to Disneyland and even provides a shuttle there and back. The rooms are very fun and exciting for the kids. If you are planning a trip to Paris Disneyland, this is the place to stay!

The hotel is located within walking distance of the louvre museum. There is also a supermarket, money changer and lots of cafes around the corner. The room is quite small which they say is typical of paris hotels but nicely decorated. There is even an espresso machine! Breakfast was the best! There is also a rooftop with lots of chairs wherein you can relax.😊 The only drawback is that one of the staff at the lobby was kind of a snob.

it was our great experience staying at jules hotel. all staff especially a spanish guy was very helpful and had great service mind. room is new and very clean. great location, i.e. 10 metre from metro station, walking distance to opera and galleries lafayette. best hotel in paris or even in europe we ever stayed. will definitely be back to jules in our next trip to paris. free wifi internet.

20 years ago, my wife visited Paris for one day trip from London. She did not stay overnight. This year, we planned for our visit to this city for vacation & shopping. I was not interested in that but wanted to visit some iconic landmarks in Paris & spend some times in the Grand Mosquee of Paris. We also need to find halal food in Paris. So our itinerary coverage in Paris was large; from Belleville to Centre of Pompidou to Grand Mosquee to Champ Ellysee to Eiffle Tower, all within 4 days. Since we never experienced staying in Paris, our decision in choosing hotel is quite blur. After considering the coverage we need to do, we decided to stay as close to transport interchange station because we need to jump to Metro as fast as we can....and the hotel must be cheap but comfortable, sounds too good to be true. We came across Le Hotel de Normandie in Agoda, low price hotel, good location & the room looks good in the picture. So we booked. The moment we checked in, we knew that we made the right choice. The staff is friendly with english speaking, the Metro station is so closed that as if it's part of the hotel & the room is so carefully finished with good material (the sanitary fittings brand is Grohe) & the bed is so comfortable. What else can we say about this hotel....it's simply brilliant choice. I would highly recommended to all travelers. A few things though, you need to bring your own mug because the hotel does not provide, but they have kettle. Ask for room facing St Lazarre for some good view, but the window is not sound proof, so a bit noisy at night. Expect the room small but for moslem there are space for pray. No halal food around, you need to travel to Belleville to find one. All in all.....book this hotel while it's still cheap and have a nice day

Our stay at the student hotel in Paris was very pleasant. Supermarket was in close walking distance, pizza take out and other dining options were also close to the hotel. 10 minutes walk and six stops with the metro took us to the shopping street Champs Elyseè, which was absolutely perfect. The gym lacked a few necessities such as barbells and weights, but I would recommend a 15 minute walk for a nice run in the park nearby, if one were to put in some workouts during the stay. Breakfast not included, but I thought for 10€ I got everything I needed for the mornings I wanted to eat with them. The pool was never overcrowded, and it was a perfect way to relax after we were done sightseeing and shopping. The staff, both receptionists and cleaning staff, was very helpful!

Despite making a last minute reservation to stay at Madeleine Plaza Hotel, our booking via Agoda was immediately attended to by the hotel staff ( I had sent them a chaser e-mail immediately because it was last minute). Our check-in was seamless and they were kind enough to allow us to check-in early after our long flight. Also, we were pleasantly surprised to be upgraded. The room, although slightly small (you'll be hard pressed to find large hotel rooms in Paris), was neat and tidy and had a beautiful view facing the Madeleine Cathedral. Only criticism of the room would be that the TV lacked English channels, but then again who would want to watch TV in Paris?? Hotel staff were always friendly, polite and ever willing to help. Of course, to top it off, the location can't be beaten, a short walk away from Place De La Concorde, The Louvre and the Opera Garnier, with loads of eateries and shopping options within walking distance as well. Overall, a highly recommended hotel.

The Hotel is beautiful, but location is everything. The yellow line Metro is right outside the front door. This line will take you anywhere you want to be with minimal transfers. I flew into Orly from Toulouse. I was able to go directly to the hotel on Orlyval with one transfer in under an hour. My hotel room was ready and perfect; with views of the Arche. If you have an early flight or simply want to make sure you get to CDG with the least amount of issues, ask the hotel to arrange at taxi. It’s on time and comfortable, worth the money. Sit outside in the evenings and watch the Eiffel Tower light up, run along the river. My favorite Paris Hotel.

Great location, walking distance to almost all of the Paris attractions, great sized and well equipt rooms as well as the best hotel gym I have used. We had a brilliant stay. All the staff bar the surly bell hop were helpful, kind and knowledgable.

We chose this hotel because of the name Hotel California and I've always loved that song. That aside, I have been to Paris a few times and I really enjoyed this hotel better than the others I've stayed at. I think this hotel is very good value for money. The rooms are bigger than the other hotels I've stayed at in Paris for the same price. The location is fantastic - very close to the action. We were not able to book tickets to Moulon Rouge online as it was sold out, but the staff at the hotel was able to book tickets for us at the same price as the online price. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. Overall, I had no complaints about this hotel, it was a very comfortable stay and I would definitely stay there again and would recommend this hotel to anyone.

This hotel is a great bang for the euro. But make sure you realize what it is. It's a hostel geared towards a younger crowd, not the Ritz. Once you understand what the demographic is, you'll realize this hotel is great. The rooms are clean and functional. There is no TV, but this is Paris. If you're watching TV, you're doing it wrong. If you want a hair dryer, you need to trade your passport or id at the front desk for one (remember the demographic). The restaurant is functional & cheap, but recommend spending a few more euros on better options (but great for that Americano or hot chocolate after a day of sightseeing). There is a lounge area for smokers (covered area between two buildings). Location is right on Colonel Fabien circle with a metro right on the circle (serious selling point as it made everything accessible). There are also restaurants on the circle and many more just a short walk away. Staff was stupendous - super friendly and helpful. Well worth it!

Nothing more could’ve said about the hotel, but it was without doubt one of the best experiences we had staying in Paris. Everyone was so helpful and friendly and we received an upgrade when we mentioned that we were on our honeymoon. Would definitely wanna stay here again!

stayed in superior double room. room is ok campared to previous classic double room. staff is helpful. hotel is just in front of metro line 12 convention stop and will take 30 min from paris gare de nord. near restaurants and shops. overall ok

I had booked this place as it is very close to the Eiffel Tower. Believe me u will not be disappointed. The Eiffel Tower is just a 10 min walk. The rooms are a bit small but the prices are absolutely bang on for the location. Their breakfast was nice. I personally had a difficult time in Paris city as I was pickpocketed the very first day. The hotel went out of its way to help me block the cards and get some money from the security deposit and also waived off some emergency international call charges. Absolutely recommend this place for anyone to stay PS: just be careful while travelling by metro in Paris

We really just needed a place to sleep after a late night train arrival. Gerando seemed to provide good value. However, the pictures in the profile mask the desperate need for refurbishment. The bed was comfortable, but that's where it ended. The room had a musky smell, the carpet seemed clean, but was worn and you didn't really want to walk on it with bare feet. The bedroom and bathroom had ample amounts of black mold in cracks and corners. There was not a single surface that did not have peeling paint. The bathroom door had signs of rot at the bottom.

That was my 2nd time at this beautiful hotel suites and I would never look for another hotel in Paris everytime I visit this lovely city.

Stayed with a friend, booked for two singles and ended up with that plus a double! Bathroom was brilliant and plenty of space to store our things for 3 nights. Obviously there isn’t as much of the Disney influence at this hotel however after a full day at the park and as two adults that wasn’t an issue at all. The breakfast was yummy and well stocked. We ate the pizza meal deals on our last night at the hotel and found it to be very reasonable in comparison to the Disney food options. The soft drinks were pretty large offering good value for money. Staff were very helpful with our travel concerns and helped up plan our route back to Paris and order taxis for us. Very skilled in English! We were just looking for somewhere to lay our heads during the magic and this hotel definitely surpassed those expectations! Would love to stay again in the future.

This is an excellent choice for thise who want 5 star rooms in Paris without payibg hundreds per day. Excellent room, good location (quiet street), friendly staff, good breakfast, all of these superior to most other non-chic 5 star hotels in Paris. Highly recommend it!

nothing bad to say. it's cheaper & newer than the disney hotels in paris disneyland. it's abit out of the way but very easy to get to with taxi & one stop away with the train. we stated there cause its on the way to the paris city as we arrived at paris disneyland from amsterdam direct.

I stayed there for 3 nights during the Paris Motorshow period. So the price of hotels went up for the same Paris hotel quality (always too small) and we decided to stay in this one. 1. spacious room 2. right next to Les Halles station (aslo RER connection) 3. Plenty of restaurants nearby I have heard some horrible reviews from other people of other Citadines but his one was really nice. Will definitely stay again.

Stayed 4 night in Paris for my honeymoon trip. Mercure Paris Tour Eiffel is the BEST location, a few step to Eiffel Tower, great location for metro and airport bus in front of the hotel. The Staff name "Vivek" very nice and friendly. He help me to call local tour city and booking the restaurant on the top of Eiffel Tower. Comfortable bed. Many good restaurants, one Chinese Restaurant around this area. Wonderful Honeymoon Trip here, We can see Eiffel Tower all days and Night. Good High Speed Internet without Password The Best Hotel Ever!!!! If I come to Paris, Definitely come here again

I highly recommend this hotel in Paris! Good location and very kind staff! 1.There’s a bus (351) straight from CDG airport to Hotel that costs 4Eur only per person. 2.Metro station is literally 20 seconds walk away from hotel. And it’s terminal station. 3.Bus terminl to anothet country is few minutes walk away (Eurolines Bus) 4.There’s mcdonalds and big grocery store behind the hotel 5.There’s also restaurant in the hotel. Breakfast buffest is delicious. 6.Very affordble price for a good location and clean bed linens and room 7.Clean room 8.All staffs are very accommodating and kind I arrived 4hrs earlier than my checkin time but they already gave us the room. I checked out early and left my luggages at the hotel. Very safe. When I came back, they allowed me to stay for 5hrs at the lounge while waiting for my bus to next country Will definitely come back here once I visit Paris again. 👍🏾
