Hotel Amber Pattaya (SHA Extra Plus)
Central Pattaya,Pattaya - View on map
"For a 4 star hotel you are not going to get anything better!!! A brand new hotel that is immaculate, gym, sauna, nice pool area and a great room. We had a Superior room with a queen bed that was so comfortable. Buffet breakfast was nice with plenty of options English, Thai and Indian. Location is perfect, on a quieter street set back a little but walk 2 mins up the street and you are right in mix for bars and everything Pattaya offers. Price point was fantastic value for money. You can not go wrong staying athe Hotel Amber."

The Green Park Resort (SHA Plus+)
North Pattaya,Pattaya - View on map
"One of my favourite hotels in Pattaya. The pool area is the best I have ever seen, even it is a bit aged by now. However, I come here many times by now and plan come again next year. The rooms are ok and the staff is friendly. The location of the hotel is ideal for german customers. There are many restaurants nearby selling german style food. The rooms are clean and quiet."

Hard Rock Hotel Pattaya (SHA Plus+)
Pattaya Beach Road,Pattaya - View on map
"I am a huge fan of the Hard Rock franchise and have visited many of the restaurants and hotels. The Hard Rock Hotel Pattaya was no disappointment. This hotel is an oasis in the middle of a dirty and shady city. Don't get me wrong, Thailand has a certain reputation in certain spots but Pattaya goes above and beyond! I have traveled the world and visited some shady spots including Iraq, but I have never felt like I had to watch my back like I did in Pattaya. The beach was filthy. Fortunately, the hotel is isolated from the rest of Pattaya. The pool is enormous and has a great swim up bar. They play organized water sports (volleyball, water polo, etc.) everyday at 1300 hours and everyone gets involved. On the weekend they have an incredible seafood buffet, in addition to the typical Hard Rock menu with some local specialties added. The rooms are very clean and so comfortable and have great views either over the pool and ocean or the city of Pattaya. The actual Hard Rock Cafe is outside the hotel's rear entrance across from the beach. They have live music every night and a good crowd. This hotel is worth mutiple visits, unfortunately, Pattaya is not unless you are a perverted old man who can't meet women on your own. If you are a fan of the Hard Rock brand, then this is a must visit! This hotel is expensive by Thai standards, but this should be expected and you do get what you pay for. Pattaya does have it's own charms, such as fantastic seafood and taking a stroll down Walking Street, but one visit was enough for me. The Grass Serviced Suites by At Mind (SHA Plus+)
South Pattaya,Pattaya - View on map
"I've stayed at many budget and mid priced hotels in Pattaya , and I would say this was the best overall. I booked it based on the price (less than 1000 baht) and the photo's on Agoda. I've seen reviews criticising the amenities but the photo's are true and accurate of what you're going to get. The rooms aren't huge (25 sq m)as a kitchenette is included but were fine for me. I had very little dealing with reception staff - but they were efficient and helpful on all occasions. The room service and security staff were always smiling and very helpful. There are washing machines you can use for 30 baht or the hotel laundry service. There is a laundry,7/11 and street cafes just outside.. A Big C supermarket 10 mins walk away, mototaxis opposite. It is a ten minute taxi ride away from the beach. The gym and sauna were fine for me the location was ok - if it was nearer the beach you'd be paying twice the price and probably have a lot of noise from bars etc. Overall very good."

Siam Bayshore Resort Pattaya (SHA Plus+)
Walking Street,Pattaya - View on map
"This report could be simply expressed with the words “ stay here”. I have been a guest at the Siam Bayshore Pattaya hotel 4-5 times this year already. I use the term ”been a guest” because this hotel goes out of its way to make you feel "a guest". This is simply the best hotel I stay in , in Asia. My work takes me to pretty much all corners of the globe and as a result I stay allot of nights in hotels of various quality and service levels. The Siam Bayshore Pattaya really does try and make your stay as comfortable and relaxing as they can. The staff are brilliant, always smiling, helpful and very very happy to help with anything. This of course reflects on the management at this hotel as you don’t get exemplary service in the hotel business if you don’t have outstanding hotel management. Siam Bayshore Pattaya could best be described as close to everything but far from the madness… it’s close to all the restaurants and bars on Walking street but its far enough away that at night sitting by the pool it’s just you and the occasional chirp of geckos and crickets. The pool area is very relaxing and nice for adults with fun theme slide for young ones. They have a great poolside drink and food menu as well.. Rooms are very clean and well appointed with lots of room…. get a pool side room…its worth it. Its little details I like and things like a little well lit magnifying mirror to shave by next to the basin, things like internet which is blazingly quick, things like afternoon cookies which they drop off… So many hotels tell you they offer great service but rarely do they deliver. The Siam Bayshore Pattaya just does it constantly.. every time. In writing this I’m trying to offer the reader a balanced view and also mention some things that the hotel could do better or improve on… but I’m scratching my head to think of any with this hotel….. If your coming to Pattaya then the Siam Bayshore Pattaya is the place to stay whether you’re here on business or vacation . "

Dusit Thani Pattaya (SHA Extra Plus)
North Pattaya,Pattaya - View on map
"We stayed at the Dusit Hua Hin last year for our anniversary, but this year we thought we'd try the Pattaya location. From parking the car to walking into the lobby, it's a rush of "nice." The place just smells nice. There is an obvious emphasis to detail here. The room was comfortable and quiet. Bathroom great. Rain shower. Nice big balcony. I think this is better than the other hotels in Pattaya of similar rankings. Reason is, this one is actually "on the beach," AND it is also on the main bay, overlooking all the other hotels which are NOT on the beach. So you have the best of it all. You walk down to the ground level and go to the beach right out your door. No crossing the street. Then, from your balcony, you sit and enjoy the great view of the Pattaya Bay with all the activity and the cool "Pattaya" sign lit up at night. Food wasn't that great we don't think. I think they have the effort, but need some new recipes. Not sure. It was just missing the wow factor. The pool was nice. Tennis courts on the water. Great view. Good service. Really clean. We'll be back again. "

Areca Lodge Hotel (SHA Plus+)
Central Pattaya,Pattaya - View on map
"Located at the centre of Soi 13 near Soi Bukhaoa -this is cetainly one of the best Hotels in Pattaya if not Thailand. You feel really at home here with excellent rooms overlooking a great pool. Rooms are clean, spacious, shower/bathroom and all facilities are good so you can enjoy your stay. There is fanatastic long bar outside the Reception area - managed by the wonderful Nas and his team(San, Sa and La) who take care of your food & drink needs. The very friendly staff add to an already great Hotel facility and having been to Pattaya about 20 times this is by far my favourite Hotel as it has everything you could need.Location is halfway up Soi 13 from Pattaya 2nd record - near the junction with Soi Buakhao which has loads of Bars, Restauarants/Nightlife. As a contrast to all the hustle and bustle of Pattaya the Hotel is peaceful and relaxing and not a long walk from the beach. Highly recommended.!"

Room was very clean and serviced each day, the staff are very helpful and gave me good ideas on what to visit during my time in Pattaya, the hotel has 3 small pools but with no one using them during My stay I had them all to myself. More about Pattaya

Pattaya has been a favorite relaxation destination for tourists and locals for over 40 years. The city is centrally located close to the capital city, so it usually sees a large influx of partygoers during long weekends.

Although Pattaya is mostly associated with lazy days on the beach followed by nightclubs, the city has accommodations for a more diverse group of visitors. Hotels in Pattaya cater to everyone from retired westerners, business travelers, young honeymooners, and families. It's an unlikely mix, and only Pattaya could make it seem so effortless.

Families often head to the quieter Jomtien Beach, a crescent slice of sand brimming with water sports and beach facilities. It’s just far enough away from the central party scene, and the hotels in this area quiet down earlier in the evening. Many family-friendly activities are based in North Pattaya, featuring Buddhist temples, elephant and nature parks, and weekend markets.

The famous nightlife epicenter of Pattaya is Walking Street, a neon-heavy after-hours pedestrian strip that follows the waterfront.

While Pattaya is widely known as Thailand's party destination, it's becoming an increasingly diverse place to vacation, with the city emphasizing the other quiet beaches and golf courses as alternatives to the bright lights.

There’s much more to see and learn about Pattaya, and the interactive map on this page is a great way to find out where the attractions and hotels can be found in this exciting city.
