"The city itself didn't impress me much, as the public transport is designed to rip people off and treat tourists very unfairly. I wish I never left the room. The room and the hotel were absolutely amazing, next time I go to Hungary I might go back to this city just for the hotel. The staff was wonderful, very helpful, flexible, attentive. My room was spacious, they gave me the requested bathtub, and the massage was of a high standard too. I can only recommend this hotel, but please ask the reception for advise concerning the local rulesand regulations concerning the public transport, as the bus company will be more than happy to rip u off."

"First thing, get off at the main railway station rather than the OTHER station which looks closer on the map like I did, because that was an out-of-the-way stop closer to the tobacco factory. You can hop in a cab or drag your luggage about ten minutes, and the hotel is right on the intersection on the edge of the historic center and neighbors the famous Pecs University, so I don't think the location can be better, as the hotel is not only close, but simply one minute away from the Jewish synagogue. The room is clean and spacious, and the young man at reception was really friendly, enthusiastic, and speaks perfect English. Though the older lady in the morning hardly understands any English, she was willing to listen and help. The breakfast, though of limited choices, was excellent! I esp. enjoyed the scrambled eggs with tomatoes and hams, really delicious! Overall an excellent stay."

"Owner came to pick us at the train station and told us everything we need to know. The location was at side street in inner city and quiet at night. It is a modern apartment with sufficient cooking utensils, the nestle coffee machine is absolutely a bonus !"
